German Soccer Ladies
Re: German Soccer Ladies
i forget if it was someone in this thread or the international one who wondered about Schüller and Vadlau because they haven't been posting as much of each other recently. Vadlau just congratulated Schüller with a cute caption.

If she was with anyone at the time I think it was most likely Aoife Colvill. They used to hang out a lot even though they played for different clubs, they went on holiday together last summer, Aoife has pictures wearing Sam’s hat, bracelet and shirt, their friends joked a bunch about them soft launching in early 2023 (see Sam’s post about the Scotland Australia game for example).
Then they stopped interacting with each other’s posts shortly after the move, don’t appear to have hung out when Sam went home recently (that’s why I looked into it now) and Aoife hasn’t followed Syd. It could easily just be friends growing apart with distance of course, but if the bow wasn’t a mistake (or Sam had another even more super secret bf ) I think she is the most likely option.
Also Syd, that hand
I wish Hardersson would celebrate this wild but surely they'll just stand and smile next to each other and the plate.

I guess when you’ve been together for a decade you have also learned at some point that stuff like sitting on your girlfriend in front of an audience could be a tad unwise as cute as these pics are

I don’t understand the Hardersson comment, they had to behave very “professionally” on Chelsea (in front of people), because all of the eyes on them (most expensive transfer, captain, etc.). But they themselves explained how in a private celebration with just the team when they won a league Magda ended up drunk and puking, and Pernille taking care of her, so they let go. It’s in this video (with Pernille describing Magda as making a lot of tackles in the pitch… and sometimes at home. And Magda getting embarrassed). Also interesting how Pernille usually has long nails except from 2 or 3 fingers in the right hand (yes, those fingers). And how Ali Riley said on her podcast that when Pernille went visiting Magda at London they would basically disappear together lol

I’m sure they know how to have fun. They’re just not going to act the same as a couple that just got together, where both parties are impulsive as hell on their own alreadyChavdbe wrote: ↑05 May 2024, 08:07Oh, I never doubted for a second that Sam would top.Guest wrote: ↑05 May 2024, 07:09They really kissed the pint glass like it was a trophy on brand for both of them thoughGuest wrote: ↑05 May 2024, 03:00So Sam is top and Syd is bottom??

Re: German Soccer Ladies
Beerensteyn is such a mid player, I wouldn't understand that signing at all. Wolfsburg has better wingers and better strikers than her. Reminds me a bit of that useless van de Sanden signing a few years ago. Linder wouldn't surprise me, as every good Hoffenheim player seems to end up at Wolfsburg eventually, but I think a DM would be more important than a LB. If they really think Lattwein/Minge/Hagel can replace Oberdorf, they will be in for a rude awakening. They are neither DMs nor good enough.
Re: German Soccer Ladies
Not op but I listened to the episode, here is a quick summary:
Fletcher:
After fletcher ‘smashed‘ her in another podcast episode, Sara messaged her management and they got her meet and greet tickets to the concert in cologne. She said Fletcher smells good and gives good hugs. Sara gave her one of her jerseys and fletcher wore it during the concert.
Dating (apps):
She gets a lot of dms, even her friends get dms about Sara.
She doesn‘t like dating apps because some people might only message her because they recognize her and want to text with someone ’famous‘. She has tried hinge but only to look, didn’t message others.
Oh and at the beginning of the episode she said that she hasn‘t booked summer vacation yet because she only has 3 weeks off and though she might meet someone in the meantime and wants to go on vacation with her. Definitely sounds like she is currently single.
Her type:
Fletcher is 100% her type.
Generally she is into sporty, very feminine women (no long nails though ), and prefers darker hair to blonde.
She likes when women pay attention to looks (make up, good style) because she also likes to dress up.
And her girlfriend has to like her dog.
Re: German Soccer Ladies

What I found interesting about her type was that she said she used to be more into blondes when she was younger- because of that Brüggi rumour. In that other video interview she also said something like there were always women in her life which made me think Lelo couldn’t have been the first, that only started in 2019. Lelo isn’t the most feminine either though so there seems to be some sort of evolution going on with her type, haha.
Also, I know she says she doesn’t care about gender but she did not sound like she’s trying to date men at all. Or maybe she didn’t want to talk about that in the context of the podcast, idk. I wondered the same about Tabbi actually, now that she doesn’t seem to be with her gf anymore.

I don’t know what happen to Bayern today , they look a very tired team like they party TOO HARD winning the league , I don’t want to blame it on that cause I do want to think they are professional and took this seriously and not be in Ibiza mind right now

Belastungssteuerung still seems an unfamiliar term for German teams. But this game can't cast a shade on the fact that Wob disappointed most parts of the season and that they'll be handed downwards like other teams before if the management does not bother getting their lazy butts up and try to compensate the huge loss of quality they'll have to faceGuest wrote: ↑09 May 2024, 16:37Obi enjoy your last pokal since it’s the last time u lift it

Re: German Soccer Ladies
It was a bad game from all of them but it also was a tactical disasterclass from Straus. It was obvious what he was doing wasn't working and yet he waits until the 70th minute to sub in more offensive power. Tuva Hansen has proven once again she's not really on Bayern's level - shame Naschenweng couldn't go on. And I'll never get why Straus insists on playing out of the back. Passing under pressure is not one of Grohs' strong suits and it led to several dangerous plays against Bayern. Apart from that it took them so long to get the ball across the field and once they did Wob's defence was in position again.Guest wrote: ↑09 May 2024, 20:21It’s still important for Bayern when they haven’t won it in years , it was just a bad game for them allDhavvs wrote: ↑09 May 2024, 18:49I feel like Bayern relaxed because Pokal isn’t very important and the league is more. Re: German Soccer Ladies
Both backup keepers leaving. Bösl was really good in the champions league, maybe she’s moving somewhere she can start? Martinez leaving makes sense if Wamser returns. So are they going to sign a keeper and a CB?

Veit yes, she is Germanys biggest CB talent I think, but I'm not convinced Aehling is good enough for a side that wants to play UWCL. They should look for an additional, more experienced CB. Hoffenheim made a terrible mistake when they sacked Gabor Gallai without reason and then appointed Lerch. They played such beautiful football under Gallai and now they play the typical Lerch chaosball.

Now Shannon, also very funnyGuest wrote: ↑22 Apr 2024, 17:23Posting this here because I don’t want to go through that whole discussion all over again, but it’s really fucking funny that Stanway followed Fletcher
Re: German Soccer Ladies
i am taking this out of the spoilers because i think it's a fine discussion to have if you don't mind. Could you send a link to the interview if possible? i might have missed it. i don't know if Schüller was joking (she has a dry sense of humour), but even if she were serious, it is the reality of social media. she obviously hasn't been "influenced" that much since nearly all of her posts are football-related and quite staid. sailing is a much less popular sport so i imagine that Vadlau is more concerned about efforts to self-promote. nevertheless, i hardly think that an Olympian who is also a doctor is a shallow/vapid person, mainly just more image-conscious and ambitious in the SM sphere.guest wrote: ↑10 May 2024, 20:18In an interview L.S. (sky) that her gf roughly speaking suggested to her to wear less on social media (ig?) posts to get more followers... along those lines. I wonder if that is such a good influence to say the least... sounds pretty shallow to someGuest wrote: ↑05 May 2024, 01:02i forget if it was someone in this thread or the international one who wondered about Schüller and Vadlau because they haven't been posting as much of each other recently. Re: German Soccer Ladies
Was it an older interview? I remember something like this. They asked Lea about their more risqué pictures and she said Lara encouraged her to post them because they both looked good and the pictures themselves weren’t tacky, something like that. Not like “show more skin and you’ll get more attention”, more like “don’t be too scared to show your authentic self”. Though I suppose the line between the two can be fine. Lara herself has posted herself working out topless many times. But it’s less sexual and more to be a show off about her muscles I think hahaGuest wrote: ↑12 May 2024, 14:17i am taking this out of the spoilers because i think it's a fine discussion to have if you don't mind. Re: German Soccer Ladies
Saskia Bartusiak appointed as assistant coach for Germany. Does anyone know what she’s been up to since she retired? I think Lise works or worked as a coach for Frankfurt so I assume she stayed there as well
