Pretty sure this assumption is correct. We know they’re in off season. We know Ellie just did some wedding and sponsorship stuff in Aus. We also know she said she was heading back to Europe for vacation in that Sydney Morning Herald article about FIFA scheduling. We also know Daan is skipping the two June camps with the Netherlands. They’ll definitely be heading somewhere if they’re not there already

Putting on my sewing nerd hat for a moment - though it doesn’t make this any less exciting. In the bridal shops Instagram story they said Ellie was at her Toile fitting. A toile is a mock up of the dress made out of a cheaper fabric. It’s the basic shape of the dress without any of the intricate details. They do that to get the sizing right before they actually start to make the real dress since the fabric for the real one is usually expensive. So her bridesmaids didn’t see her real dress yet! Just the mock up. But that reaction from them does tell you it will be quite special. She’ll have to make her way to them in person two or three more times before the wedding for fittings as it’s clearly a custom gown

It looks like the stylists or so have used a skiing jacket and trousers combination and split them up for one to wear the trousers and the other to wear the jacket. And these white wool stockings sort of as well, rather remind one of skiing holidays or after ski huts or so.

No, Daan isn’t going to camp until July 1 at earliest. Most players don’t post vacation stuff in real time it is usually after the fact.
