Alexia has taken the social media by storm, unfortunate result but the good thing is that the entire world got to see her class again. A player like her is irreplaceable. Legend.

Even the Brasil fans are asking themselves why Alexia didn’t start. She’s the undisputed GOAT.

Yes. Although, I'm not going to say anything bad about Aitana. She's tired, I think she has a problem with her leg. She hasn't been 100% for a long time and that would happen. It's complicated for a team that becomes dependent like that.

DA. But this must be so mentally exhausting. She didn't cry or sob, she just looked so cold and neutral. I hope she takes it well.

Aitana was hogging that ball like her life depended on it. There were a few chances when Eva was completely alone that she decided to penetrate rather than pass her the ball, I get Eva is not all that but it would’ve moved the Brazilian defense towards her, instead she tried to be peak Messi and lost the damn ball.

Mariona and Aitana are totally exhausted and that showed tonight. They were short for so many balls. You can’t blame them. It’s all on the coach for not managing rotations better in the group stage, and playing Aitana for 180 minutes in the two Euros games right before the tournament. Neither of them should have played at all against Brazil in the group game to get some level of rest.

Maybe if Jona would’ve played Alexia more, taking off pressure from Aitana at the end, this would not have happened. So it’s that Michele Kang merchant’s fault.

I think that too. That Real Madrid game, for example, doesn't need the entire starting team. But Giraldez had to prove that Alexia was a sub, right? Well, Aitana was completely damaged and so far has not been able to recover 100%.

Yeah, third goal was mariona's fault. She followed her mark all the way but when the initial shot hit the post, she just literally stood there and was doing nothing, letting her do mark free header.
If it was any other player, I'd ve been really angry but seeing mariona just standing there... I couldn't blame her at all. She just looked like her body is not moving anymore. She was already barely functioning at colombia game. I've never seen her making bad passes like that.
Montse really shouldve made those players rest during brazil group match.

Salma should’ve played on the left, Mariona started on the bench and either Eva or Athenea on the right. Jenni 9 and Alexia - Aitana - Tere on the midfield. Oihane was a fault for the 4th goal but I would’ve prefered her and Ona the left. That Mariona-Olga band was getting eaten alive.

DA. I don’t think that the decision to bench Alexia was actually personal. It’s just that she doesn’t have a clue and instead of analysing the opponent and adjusting her team accordingly, she just decided to go with the team that turned around and finished the last game. That and her severe allergy to playing Alexia and Jenni together.

I hear you. Let me restate- her decision making and thought process were “tinged with personal bias”. Bias and steadfast in her beliefs that they could not play together because she believed the most important players for her “system” were Mariona, Salama and Aitana. And to play Jenni and Alexia together would disrupt her precious “system”. Believing both were interchangeable, when in fact they should not be vying for the same position on the NT when one can play upfront, filling a need and Alexia can play in midfield. And bias and steadfast with her subbing pattern. She made this tournament and the work load on certain players harder than it should ever have been.

Their last chance might be if they get a bronze medal, because they will have to get to Paris to be a part of the podium right? Not stay but athletes can visit the Villa with their credentials even if they’re not staying there.

She was very strong to enter with 20 minutes left, conscious and tried to change the game. She didn't fall because everything was lost. It takes a very strong mentality to do this.

DA. I'm so proud of her, honestly she is a good person and a class player on and off pitch. She has been through alot with so much grace. It takes alot to fight like that and believe until the very end. She single handedly changed everyone's approach, they all started to get a bit hopeful. I hope she keeps her head high and doesn't let this linger on for too long. She earned more than a gold medal today.

I think Spain will remain on top in Europe for a while, if the Nations League is still the form of European qualification for Europe then I think the LA Olympic Games for Spain is doable, I just don’t know if Alexia will be a part of that team. No other European country has a better up and coming generation than Spain.

So, that's what I think. It's a complicated routine for the body, a game every two days. She may want to slow down in a few years. I'm still wondering how she will process this defeat. Although, they lost the Euros and won the World Cup. I think they have what it takes to win the Euros next year. We'll see.

You can't support a team like the USA when the NWSL literally has a man playing in the league (Orlando pride ). Team USA literally has TrA d*ck suckers, .Former US player Pinoe who supports men playing women's sports. A team with literally 0 lesbians on the team . I'll support Brazil even with their horrible anti-football.
