I'm gonna vote for Emma to win BBC sports personality of the year. Her winning the US Open and Rose and Gio couples choice dance on strictly were the two tv moments of the year for me.
As for BBC Sports Personality awards surprised and disappointed that the Kenny's were not included as both are Britain's most decorated (male and female) olympians. Doesn't make sense.

I hope they are correct. Tom Daly thinks hes in with a shout because he turned up in person to the venue to be interviewed. I should say there is no audience this year due to covid. I wouldn't even have him shortlisted. If Emma wasn't shortlisted I'd have voted for Adam Peaty.

She’s losing but brands love her, so tennis is not the ultimate goal for her, it’s a starting journey for being an influencer and future business ventures.
She’s lucky to be pretty and photogenic. Other grand slams winners dont have the same level of endorsements and tolerance for repeated defeats.
