Ertz is not in game shape as her passes are not timely and she's getting dispossessed easily. one knock of any sort and she's not going to make the WC. In fact, she'll probably retire if she doesn't make the squad. There's no incentive to play for ACFC beyond preparing for the WC. Despite knowing what she could do, the chances are slim she makes it back. Don't be surprised and don't look away when she flubs it tonight.
Just a tad dramatic aren't you lol? Your not telling the whole truth either. Yeah Julie hasn't made all perfect passes and yes she has been dispossessed of the ball here and there, but she has also made some great passes that helped her team a lot . Julie's defending was great most of the time controlling the midfield and making a big difference for her teammates to be able to move forward faster down the pitch and she also had some nice take aways, her presence on the pitch has made a huge positive impact for AC, oh yeah and also that beautiful header goal helped AC too lol.
Even a rusty Julie Ertz is still very valuable to her club as she has shown already and by the time the WC comes around she will be even better and help the NT midfield be more impactful and creative then the current midfield that's for sure lol. You obviously don't like Ertz and don't want her to succeed and help her club and country, but she will sorry to bust your bubble. :nails:

Didi seems like a nice person but there’s a reason she was a backup keeper for years. She’s not starting quality. How does OLR have three starting calibre GKs and some teams can’t manage to find one?

Being realistic. I'm a fan but people think she's an automatic starter after being out 2 years. When does that ever happen in any sport?!?!?! She just gave up the ball in the 8th minute.

Yeah I feel like she goes back and forth. Some games she takes too many touches and can’t get the shot off and then some games she takes advantage of her speed and has a quick trigger and it pays off.

Spirit strategy is just to run teams down during the first half and then use the legs on their young team to smash them in the second half. Not looking good for ACFC they look exhausted already and there’s no decent backup on the bench.

AC needs to take out Endo and bring in Katie Johnson cuz she would just made that set piece header, lol. And move Thompson to the left where she is more comfortable and productive.

X2 lol Thompson usually plays CF too, Endo and Emslie are wingers. Endo is shit but Johnson is too, it doesn’t matter who of the two of them starts until Syd and later Press are back because they’ll be benched anyway once those two are healthy anyway. Da

Production for a 6 is different than production for a forward. You should probably worry about Rodman’s lack of production. Ertz still has the clean sheet. DA

Ertz was largely ineffective, except her defensive header. The difference from 2 years ago is critical. No longer is the NT a place for royalty, or legacy. Their recent CBA's have made the NWSL their long-term professional job. The NT is for individuals who are fit, in form, and contributing to the success to their club team NOW. There's no room for "locker room players"; "leaders" that can't play 90 minutes; or former players that might be effective if given the time required to get back her form.

McCaskill is a professional flopper. Her shoulders have been the dirtiest part of her uniform since her days at South Carolina.

DA God, get off your high horse. Sullivan hasn’t done jack shit either. Ertz has proven herself time and again. As a defensive mid this game she has contributed to a clean sheet. Can’t ask for more than that. If the offensive players aren’t producing it’s not on her. Only a moron wouldn’t want Ertz at the WC.

That’s why I don’t think she should be on the WC roster, she is the kind of player who will get a red card after subbing on for Alex in the 80 mn and be a liability instead of closing the game lol.
