Doesn't that just mean that Daria's job doesn't matter? Daria doing her job or not doing her job hardly affects Iga's performance. It's the coach's job. That Sri Lanka girl ManMan who went to Warsaw to see Iga also said in her video that Daria is like an assistant.
Of course, Daria's (and every other sports psychologist's) work doesn't matter. There is no scientifically proven "mental training" method that can be considered truly effective. The human psyche is biologically determined and you cannot just change how it works by some prep talk, meditation or whatever. In Iga's case, it works as a placebo. She believes that if she follows Daria's advice, she can handle any problem on the court. Since she's far better than the competition, it looks like it's working.

Many other players, like Jabeur, Sakkari, Hurkacz, just to name a few, have been working with sports psychologists for years without any visible effect. They are constantly mentally collapsing under pressure.

Iga is doing yoga with the Montreal organizers and she's adorable. But the next moment, I saw Daria's face. :rageblush: This woman really doesn't let Iga out of her sight for a second.

What's interesting is that Abramowicz is well aware that Iga is not independent, and that should change. In an interview with Reuters last year (https://www.reuters.com/lifestyle/sport ... 022-04-28/) she admitted it:

'Abramowicz, who travels around the world with Swiatek during the tennis season, and coach Tomasz Wiktorowski were not with the Pole during her Stuttgart campaign. The move was aimed at making Swiatek mentally stronger, more confident and independent and also to change her perspective a bit," Abramowicz added.'

And yet she is doing everything she can to make her more dependent on her. :eyeroll:

Unsurprisingly, Iga and Daria go out alone in Montreal for dinner, coffee, city walk... But surprisingly, Daria allowed a girl to approach Iga?

Probably because she does not see her as a threat to her position. They will leave Montreal and fans there behind. Polish female fans could be a menace: what if one of them sticks around?

That girl is clearly not a threat to Daria. The one that is, will not be allowed even to reach Iga. And it will be like that until Iga starts to think with her own head and regain control of her life.

But with all those dinners, coffees, walks alone, I, llike many of you, think that, unfortunately, it will never happen. It seems that Daria brainwashed Iga. And it's possible that she will choose a partner for Iga. It will be person who will match Daria's criteria.

Well, right now there is clearly no one around Iga to expose this woman. Wiktorowski is brainwashed by her. Ryszczuk is happy to have a well-paid job. The father is a simple man for whom a psychologist is the same as a doctor and the doctor knows best what is good for the patient. The sister doesn't seem to care. The IMG agent is basically an intern who sits there but doesn't do anything because Abramowicz is doing his job.

The only person strong enough to remove this fraud is the absent mother. She has always been silent about Abramowicz in interviews, but it was the same with former coach Sierzputowski. She was silent, but after his departure she criticized him heavily.

And if a person who tried to expose Daria appeared and got to Iga, she was immediately removed from Iga's sight. It looks that Iga was left by her family at the mercy of Abramowicz.

Father is very clear, he is only interested in the money that Iga earns and he doesn't care that someone keeps his child in a cage. But I don't understand that the sister doesn't care about Iga.. :( Mother,of course, is removed from Iga's life, and she can't react to Daria's maneuver.

Tomasz is not the type to be brainwashed by Daria. Tomasz had rich experience coaching both the Polish national team and WTA player, as well as the fact that he knows exactly what kind of people surrounding Iga. Would he not know those things about Daria? Tomasz just doesn't want to get himself into the mess. So does Maciej. None of them want to get into the mess around Iga.

Well, based on this interview (https://www.rp.pl/tenis/art37595311-tom ... -sa-i-beda) from last year, he definitely had a 'talk' with Daria where she 'explained' to him how the Team Swiatek works ...
Journalist: But from the side it looks like Daria Abramowicz is the most important....

Wiktorowski: The most important is always Iga, and then there is the team. What Daria does makes a lot of potential responsibilities fall away from me, so I can focus on tennis. Taking pressure off a player sometimes requires out-of-the-box actions, and that's Daria's job. There were many matches that Iga started poorly and then won, such as in Indian Wells, when she started three times at 0:1 in sets, with Aryna Sabalenka was 2:4 in the third set. There were moments when nothing but to pack a backpack and go home, some girls would have done that, but not Iga. She fought until the end and what was the result, we know well: a fantastic series of spring victories.

Journalist: Daria Abramowicz is today arming Iga to fight on the court, but is this a forever solution, or will there someday be a time for Iga to become more independent?

Wiktorowski: I can't answer that question, but I'm not sure I would be able to talk to Iga the way Daria does. What the psychologist does is an important addition to the work of the whole team. When we saw each other the previous time, before this season, I didn't yet know what all Daria's tasks and her full role were. It turned out that these were also matters that support the business part of Iga's career and how she combines sports with off-court responsibilities. Now we have been joined by a professional from IMG (that's the global company Iga Swiatek started working with - ed. note), a young guy, but already with experience. There is also, of course, the main manager. Daria supported Iga during media activities in the tour, but with the expansion of the team, she can hand over some of these responsibilities. When I coached Agnieszka Radwanska, such a role was fulfilled by her manager Stuart Duguid.

Can any Polish people tell us why PZT wants to acquire or cooperate with Warsaw WTA 250? That doesn't sound like a good idea. That bald old pervert once criticized Iga's father for hosting WTA 250 without PZT approval.

Does anyone sometimes visit the tennis subreddit? They have a gossip thread going on at the moment about juicy tennis gossip.
One is about Iga and her relationship with Daria. A few people said they have a weird dynamic and that generally Daria is too close to Iga in her role as psychologist. Glad people are catching on to it.

Well, because so far they have nothing from Iga's success and popularity and of course now they want to change it. The 'old pervert' is no longer the president of the Polish Tennis Association (PZT) and the new one approached Iga's father to discuss using Iga to promote tennis in Poland.

They want Iga's sponsors' money and they want to find new sponsors for themselves (many sponsors terminated their contracts with them after the 'old pervert' case). In essence, they want Iga to be the face of PZT so they can profit from it.

Thought that was weird. As the psychologist you want to be working closely with the coach and trainer and speaking with them throughout the match about how Iga is playing and conducting herself, no? But another anon did mention that there was conflict between Daria and the rest of Iga's team, so maybe that was actually true.

This isn't the first time I've heard of Daria and Iga's coaches fighting. Daria helps Iga communicate with the outside world, and as the Chinese told you, Daria even helped Iga communicate with other strangers in Dubai.

The question is, what kind of person needs Daria as the only person to communicate with the outside world? It looks like Iga has been completely wrapped up in a closed space.

This isn't the first year that people have questioned Iga and Daria's sick client-psychologist relationship.

The person who needs to grow up. Iga needs to gain the self-confidence that Daria destroyed. Bringing Abramowicz to her team is the biggest mistake that was made.

There are rumors that PZU and Iga will not renew their 3-year contract after it expires. Visa will become Iga's financial sponsor. Considering that PZU has sponsored Super Liga for Danuta Dmowska-Andrzejuk, Artur Bochenek and Alicja Sierzputowska, as well as those who have spoken trash words of Iga or Iga's father, it is easy to associate all of this with conspiracy.
Saudi Crown Prince MBS purchased Messi and Neymar to whiten Saudi football league because they have more money than anyone on earth, and they have applied for benefits for the Olympics and World Expo. I don't know why the Polish government and state-owned enterprises have gone crazy investing in this gambling tennis league that no one pays attention to?

I'm glad you get to watch at a more convenient time for you! North American time can be difficult for us here in Europe too, depending on the session. Night session is tough for us, ending at 8am sometimes. I'm sure Iga requested to play as early as possible since that's her preference.

We found Iga always prefered the day session. Iga has many wives and husbands in North India. We have unilaterally married Iga. We are Iga's family. It is the duty of the family to watch the matches in the wee hours of the morning. At this very moment, there are more than 100,000 North Indians watching Iga on illegal streams. :dance2:
