Ash just seemed over it and after the bad season with Gotham, I guess she maybe just wanted to move on and retire asap without any send off games. Plus it sounds like her body maybe wouldnt have been able to handle another season since even with that Gotham season, you could tell she was injured and then got that clean up surgery. Even though I remember Allie Long posting a video of Ash training a few weeks after her surgery so who knows really how her decision to retire asap without any sort of sendoff even came to be.
