This is the second time I see someone mention that because Melo ex wife caried the baby she should make a better mom and it bothers me .It doesnt matter who carries the baby , they had the baby together and Melo is fully his mom too , its not because someone carries a child that they make a better parent . In Quebec if a lesbian couple is married then both parents are legally the child parents ,its different for gay men but im not go into details abotu that since its OT . And even if Quebec wouldnt have recognised Melo as a legal parent I am sure she would have adopted him after birth .

Wtf are you guys talking about? Daoust's son live in Qc with Daoust's ex. He visited them in Calgary like a week or so and then they went to a cabin with him during the holidays. Other then that he's been with his other mom all the time, for months now, because of the centralization. True, these ladies have trained their best for the Olympics.

Despite what the other poster said, I don't think the Finish player did it out of malice. I still think that women's game is not that "dirty" and many of the elite players know each other well outside the game as it is still a small world. But still, it was a freak and very unfortunate accident for Decker.

Also, I am happy to announce that I am very happy and satisfied with the quality of German commentators for the game. Yesterday, when they started to talk about the "Kessel Family", I was like oh boy, here we go. But the commentator was saying that he thinks that Amanda's work rate is better than Phil's...lol

No other family members' bs which I normally heard in the English commentator, they were talking more about the skills and the game itself. Also they mentioned a lot about what these ladies do to bring awareness with PWHPA and NWHL.

Yeah, that didn’t look good, but she was back in practice today. They showed a clip of her practicing on the CBC hockey show today, and they are still saying her status is day to day. If she does return, I doubt it will be tomorrow's quarter-final match against Sweden, though.

Yep they are really cute together! I still remember the hints after the 2018 Olympics when both were apparently in California at the same time and then sightings of them at places appeared. And in 2020, they quarantined together - Labonte went to their house with a cake for Pou's birthday. They're pretty open on instagram now. And Stacey has mentioned Pou on an interview with Mitch Marner where Pou is explicitly referred to as "girlfriend". Tumblr is a decent source for content.

I live in Canada, but I need to see Team USA beat Team Canada in the Women's hockey final. If USA loses, I'm going to cry and scream. It won't be a surprise that Canada would easily beat USA, cause they lost a ton of best players and best players escape from getting a silver and admit defeat.

And Hockey Canada should've boycott Chinese Olympics and let these players participate in Nova Scotia for Dream Gap Tour. That would have taken my edge off from thought of N.S. lost the Women's World Championship event.

I just listened to Nursey on a podcast from 2018 after they won silver in the last games. She made two interesting points about the tie-breaker - one was they were a bit freaked out when Spooner messed up on the first shot and the other was that she thought they could have won if they played another period instead of doing a shootout. But these are the rules so that’s the way it went!

Hopefully they’ll come out strong, take the lead and never look back.

I think the odds are pretty high that it could go to overtime since a good portion of the rivalry series games was decided in overtime leading up to the Olympics. I would love to see MPP get the winning goal to complete her hat trick of Olympic golden goals! I hope I’m wrong though about it going to overtime because it’s never good for my poor heart.
