When you see all the best players, Miedema really isn't one of them when her team is behind. She doesn't run and fight like harder, Hegerberg and so on. She just looks like the ball has to be given to her feet then she will score

I think she has other areas where she is stronger then those named, but I will agree that it is frustrating to see her just stand there. She's a proper paocher type forward and you don't see many of them around anymore.

Swe media also reports on a game played in England's second division. The game between Man U and Charlton was interrupted after 10 min after a severe collision. One of Charlton's players had to be taken to the hospital. The ambulance took 30 min to get there, something which Man U's official supporter association criticized. They mean the FA must look over security in the women's leagues.

https://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotb...otack-kollision
https://www.fotbollskanalen.se/england/topp...fter-kollision/

Hope she'll be ok. "The oxygene ran out before the ambulance finally got there" sounds omnius :-/

I know she is a different type, but she doesn't work as hard when her team struggles. She is a fantastic player, but she needs to improve. She is only 21 i know but Ada is young too

Da To be fair Chelsea contained her successfully, just like to contain Pernille is the gameplan of WOBs and Denmakrs opponents. As they say, you know what world class players can and will do but you can't stop them. And today Miedema couldn't be stopped from scoring.

With that said, few of Arsenals players did their job today. Not many took the runs off the ball like Chelsea did and they didn't put in the necessary work for each other.. Miedema didn't take the defensive job, something a complete offensive player does.

Does anyone know of anywhere to rewatch the Sweden v Denmark WC Qualifier? Quite a lot of the qualifying matches are on Youtube but I can't find that one and I'd love to watch it (partly for the Magda v Pernille factor)

I don't know but it seems our natio took a late evening flight. Figure Magda and Jonna had enough time to catch up with them from whatever airport swewnt departed from.

It's a 14 hour one way trip to S. Africa... Segs or Livvy got a brilliant idea for getting some shuteye on the plane. Or so they thought lmao https://instagram.farn1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/vp/...1.fna.fbcdn.net

Highlights were on The Women's Football Show on BBC: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0c0cpcb
You'll need a VPN if you're outside of the UK, but if you can't access it there is someone who has been uploading them to YouTube so I imagine it'll be there at some point.

Lfc's swewnt and youth natio players (minus injured Oscarsson). 9 of them in the squad and when Hilda is back from maternity leave and Nilla joins this summer, there'll be 11. Then there are the U23 players like Angeldahl and Holmgren but doesn't seem there's a camp for them right now.

how come they talk about Manchester united women?
And does Lina Hurtig still want to play for them?

What do our natio do almost first thing they arrive at their hotel? Hit the pool. Looks more like vacay than camp but since it's a water shortage in the country, the pool is used more than the showers.

Who are "they"?
And yeah she probably still wants to play for them. She said years ago the only team she'd sign for abroad was Man United when they started a women's team. She's a huge fan of the club.

Hm looks there wasn't any gathering of the squad to take the same flight this time. Maybe they just do that to competitive games. Kosse, Fia and three Goths players seem to have arrived first. Guess Sempan left with Fia. Then Seggy, Olivia and guess Folke, then Fidde. And now Magda and Jonna has found the pool. While Glas is up on a plane. She also had a game yesterday but left France day after game day instead.

Hey guys, it hit me maybe Ali recorded her next pod in several parts rather than one long take with Magda? Maybe she had Pernille guest day before Chelsea's game day. It's only a short, light training for the players then and Chelsea didn't have to travel out of town since it was a derby. What do you say?

Looks like Sempan had cravings for swedish chocolate. Wonder if Livvy bought it for her and brought it to the camp? And ofc the candy is enjoyed with the mandatory cups of coffee

And this was what Sempan and Livvy was up to with the rest of the squad day 1 when not chilling at the poolside with chocolate and coffee...

In other scandi wnt news Norway is off to La Manga, Spain while Denmark gathers in Cyprus on wed. Apart from Boye who has conceaded a injury at Munich and won't go.

And Emilia B (formerly Appelqvist aka Apple) guested swe radios football show. She talks about the invaluable support she has gotten from her team and her employer Dif, how a trainingschedule looks like plus her thoughts about the time for comeback.

Also the topic of children and football is discussed. How does the players whose partner brings the kids to games which ends around midnight - isn't the kids floored the next day?

^ can't help but smile at the two male hosts talk parenting with each other. don't follow the men's leagues so was glad to hear it's next to extreme here for players to bring their toddlers to games

was very interesting to hear Brodin's thoughts on football, last season's title drama, the national team's performance under coach Peter and Sweden's chances in the wwc

I don't understand how contracts work in the US, so I don't know. Would be nice to have her back in Sweden/Europe. But I guess there would be news already or rumors, plus she has an American gf now, or so it seems.

She's spending all her time with a teamate since last year, they basically live together, including taking her to events and family gatherings in Brazil, no contact with Jessica since then. Suggestive insta stories that hint at them being together.

I'm not sure the dog is Marta's only I think they adopted him together but I am not sure.
Anyway, it's probably easier to leave the dog in Sweden with his family than flying him to a completely new eenviroment, plus Marta has to travel all the time, she would not be able to take care of him. The alleged new gf has a dog as well that Marta is treating as her own.
Nothing confirmed though, as it is usually the case with Marta's relationships.

Nice to see you!

It was Olivia x2, Mimmi and Mia who scored. Also, all 3 keepers got their feet wet and guarded the goal for one 30 min period each.
