Looks like something that I would wear and I am definitely not straight. But who knows? As long as she's not being taken advantage of by that coach then I will be happy for Lena.Guest wrote: ↑03 Jun 2023, 10:56Do straight girls wear “ tomboykini” like that????

DA
Same. She’s always so awkward about feelings and dating lol. I’ll eat my hat if she doesn’t end up dating a Polish model in couple years lmao

Great to see this thread picking up.
Andreescu just got beaten badly by Tsurenko. All my faves are now out of the French Open!

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
I didn't have high expectations for Andreescu but I also didn't see a double breadstick from a mediocrity coming.Guest wrote: ↑03 Jun 2023, 17:43Great to see this thread picking up.

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Would be extremely cool if Big Foe knocked out the wifebeater this early in the tournament but too nervous to get my hopes up
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Not watching it. Zverev's horrible behavior is well documented but there is stuff out there too about Tiafoe being a locker room bully. I wish they could both lose!Guest wrote: ↑03 Jun 2023, 19:35Would be extremely cool if Big Foe knocked out the wifebeater this early in the tournament but too nervous to get my hopes up
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
I'm out of the loop- what did Tiafoe do? I can't imagine what he could have done to other ATP players that would make him near as bad as Zverev.Guest wrote: ↑03 Jun 2023, 19:46Not watching it. Yeah I saw her match vs Ons today and thought the same. Very similar body types, dressing styles, even hairstylesGuest wrote: ↑03 Jun 2023, 18:09Danilovic reminds me of Ana Ivanovic.

Da
But it is not delusional to think that Iga specifically is gay. Can any of you imagine her with a guy? I don’t find it credible that she ever had a bf.

Da. Delusional is thinking that no one can be gay. You are definitely a straight troll offended with lesbian assumptions. L chat exists for gay talks.Guest wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 07:32You are creepy. You can enjoy tennis without assuming every female Athlete ever and Their mother is gay. Plus pretending all their male partners Look gay. IT is delusionalGuest wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 02:17You are talking to a creepy male. The mods deleted his other posts earlier today.

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
So happy for Nastia Pav to make French Open QFs again. Hoping Dasha K wins later too.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Fucking Svitolina, I hate her so much. Go Dasha.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Next woman to hold serve wins the 2nd set
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
I only now saw Muguruza's guy and I must be very gay since I don't see anything special about him and he is apparently some model just another non ugly guy, nothing more.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
this cheap spectacle with no handshakes... ugh. and that thumb up from Dasha looks cringe. why is she playing in this? its so humiliating for her.
the match was awful.
the match was awful.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
I am almost done with this French Open. Antagonistic media, awful crowds, the handshake insanity and cringe Iga Swiatek looking unstoppable. The only thing to save it would be Ons Jabeur winning it all.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Sloan forcing a tiebreak after being down 5-0 just to blow the tiebreak...you're killing me girl
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Onwards Ons! How incredible would it be to see Ons triumph in Paris?
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Aryna Sabalenka and Casper Ruud for French Open champions 2023
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Ruud wtf?Guest wrote: ↑05 Jun 2023, 11:14Aryna Sabalenka and Casper Ruud for French Open champions 2023
Anyway I feel like Haddad Maia and Sorribes Tormo are playing 5 hours.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Why would anyone want Ruud to win the men's event? Anon, explain yourself please.Guest wrote: ↑05 Jun 2023, 13:41Oh, Beatriz... you like to play on the nerves. Please learn how to serve for the set!
Also congratulations to Haddad Maria.Karma just came back to bite Sorribes Tormo.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Rune or Ruud??
I find Capser Ruud sooo boring to watch, Clinical dull.
But he isn't horrible right? that is Ruune?
PS dislike both their surnames!

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
For those who asked yes I did actually meanCasper Ruud for French Open champion. He's the least annoying male player left in the draw.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
The least annoying is Khachanov but he has no chance.Guest wrote: ↑05 Jun 2023, 19:30For those who asked yes I did actually meanCasper Ruud for French Open champion. He's the least annoying male player left in the draw.

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
The show is over. I am glad that Aryna on the net made it clear to the public that it was not she who started this.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Svitolina can cry all she wants about anything she wants. She's a loser who isn't ever going to win a Grand Slam.Sabalenka may or may not win another Grand Slam but is a Grand Slam champion forever.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
According to the rules, the losing player shakes hands with the chair umpire first. Arina just let her pass. Elina made it about herself again. Its sad.
Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
Idk, this situation seems dumb to me. The other day Kasatkina got booed because she didn't wait for the handshake and it looked like she was the one giving the cold shoulder to Svitolina. Now Sabalenka waited for a handshake, Svitolina skipped it, got booed and people blame Sabalenka for not wanting to be the one taking the boos? Lol is that really the problem?
And more dedicated tennis fans might not like it, but Sabalenka is liked by the casual match going crowd who just enjoys a fun personality and attractive tennis without digging deep on what player has pictures with whoever politician. She has a good sense of humor, isn't afraid to poke fun at herself and this makes her likeable in the eyes of the person that doesn't spend much time analyzing players off the court.

Re: The Official Tennis Thread - Part II
I didn’t even see Svitolina acknowledge Sabalenka tbf, not like the other match where she gave a thumbs up, but that could be down to camera angles etc.Guest wrote: ↑06 Jun 2023, 15:01Idk, this situation seems dumb to me. I dunno how I feel tbh… whilst I appreciate Svitolina’s stance etc for other players, they’re not politicians. They should focus on the tennis and during press conferences/interviews etc they should only really be asked questions about the tennis/games etc not on political stuff, imo.
