lol she got hit with every defense under the sun in college and she still went off. Every coach said as much, that you can’t stop her you just have to try and limit her. If other teams focus on shutting only her down, that’ll let everyone else go off.
When she’s good in the league, what are haters gonna go to? Just pivot and pretend she’s not?

I’m glad someone posted this bc it’s weird to say Paige’s gf raised her just to call her “step black.” If anything it seems like Paige and her ex step mom have a good but surface level relationship.Guest wrote: ↑18 Apr 2024, 01:15Her mom has been at a lot of the UConn games this year so it is funny that Twitter is erasing her. I'm pretty sure the Mystics are tanking for her. Otherwise explain who they picked and why over some others.
Paige has actually lived in the DMV during the summers since she graduated high school. She splits time between staying with her dad in MD and Azzi in VA, so she probably wouldn’t mind ending up on the Mystics at all.
Paige’s mom has been also liking shady tweets about CC all year lol. She seems invested
Re: WNBA - Part III
You know how many good all around players there are to choose from? Paige is good and popular but she doesn’t have any generational skill like Caitlin does, and she won’t have the economic impact. Her elite 8 game was right after Clark’s, and it had like half the viewership. She couldn’t even get near CC numbers even playing right after her in the prime time spot.Guest wrote: ↑18 Apr 2024, 07:26Clark is an elite shooter and a great passer but Paige is better all around. If not for injuries (but that’s the nature of sports), she’d be right up there. Bueckers is going to the be the #1 pick next year and teams will tank to get her.
If teams weren’t tanking for CC they’re definitely not going to tank for Paige.
I don’t even know where this “better all around” thing comes from - what is she better at than Clark? I keep seeing defense, but she got absolutely cooked on defense in the Iowa game and she wasn’t even on the best player.

Put some respect on Kate Money Martin's name. The champs drafted her for a reason.

So how does New York, the ones who played for the wnba championship last year possibly get the no. 1 pick? I know it’s just a mock up but how are they even a possibility enough for someone to post about it?Draft order is picked by lottery. The 4 teams with the cumulative worst prior 2 year records get weighted based on performance and then drawn.

Via trade with Phoenix. They will get Phoenix’s. pick and Phoenix wasn’t good last year.Guest wrote: ↑23 Apr 2024, 03:40Okay, now I’m confused again. When talking about the draft the other day, someone helpfully explained…2025 Mock Draft wrote: ↑23 Apr 2024, 02:13FIRST ROUND

I think Indiana actually has pretty good and newish facilities. They aren’t as great as Seattle or Aces, but they aren’t bad at all.

It does look like a nice, newish facility. I will say watching those training clips my thought was that it looks odd for some reason and couldn’t pinpoint why. But then looking at the photos on their website, I think it’s because it looks so small. It feels a little claustrophobic.Guest wrote: ↑24 Apr 2024, 10:03I think Indiana actually has pretty good and newish facilities. They aren’t as great as Seattle or Aces, but they aren’t bad at all.

I can't wait for the training camp videos start coming out next week. And why Clark is looking cuter? I never into her before is it because the 28 millions? And do you think Pilli will get signed I don't want to go full on simp with any of the cute rookies...
Re: WNBA - Part III
Yeah, Clark looks like she’s definitely got a stylist for clothes and makeup lately. She looks good. I wasn’t a huge fan of her draft outfit. It was cool that she was the first Prada dressed draftee ever, but I’ve never been a big fan of the oversized baggie look for formal/dress-up wear. Plus, in a lot of interviews and camera shots she looked so fidgety and uncomfortable in it, although with such a big night it would be understandable to be nervous/anxious. I think my favorite look of hers was the green suit she wore for one of the morning show interviews. And the one for her entrance/first presser.Guest wrote: ↑24 Apr 2024, 11:06I can't wait for the training camp videos start coming out next week. And why Clark is looking cuter? Cameron Brinks looked gorgeous in her dress draft night. Looking forward to seeing her fits in the coming years.
This group of rookies has so many to root for. I want so many of them to make the team so I can continue to watch and root for them, but I know that’s impossible.
Re: WNBA - Part III
Yeah, it’s kinda giving off private HS church gym vibe that was built with a small budget so it’s not very big, but will make for a nice assembly hall if needed. Seriously though, the small gyms make me feel like it would be annoying to do running drills or hard plays and scrimmaging with having to make hard stops so you don’t run into a brick wall.Guest wrote: ↑24 Apr 2024, 10:40I think it is that and the dark brick. No I mean from that vid above. I'm actually not interested at all with Clark being glam up unlike Brink Angel and other draftees. So I was thinking of doing the WNBA league pass this year if for nothing else to support the league. Has anyone here purchased it before? What’s the biggest benefit of it? I already have YouTube tv and Prime, so is there a benefit of the pass when you have those streaming platforms?
