AKB really seem as our best player so far (imo its Hegering). She made mistakes but was also phenomal. Something between genius and madness. Saving two pens and shoot one at international stage is a plattform per se. As the other goalies especially the Spanish and the Brazilian are not convincing I see that she could get another nonimation for the FIFA best goalkeeper award this year.

Nici had a difficult role to play in the first half and did pretty well for someone who was thrown in cold. Lea had trouble scoring this tournament, so did Klara, Jule, our whole offence.

Nope. I'm Catalan but I also root for Bilbao because I admire their policy and as you said, we both arent the most patriotic, and since Bibi plays for Bilbao thats how I started to root for Germany when she was called and then the Bundesliga (the fact that Dazn gave a lot of Bundesliga games free really helped).
The worst thing about Spain is that when they lose, the next match they usually go really fired up.

I thought the same. It is very obvious the top people at Bayern see the positive development and also want to push it more and actually do things/invest to make it happen. As was said before Bayern making structural changes and the women getting the same medical treatment and attention is great to see.
Tbh the campus is too small for the women now but it is what it is. I too hope Bayern will open the area for big games, like against Wolfsburg or Frankfurt if possible. I know it is expansive, but it would give out a positive sign and I think against Wolfsburg it would sell well.
