She looks much better here than in those Lancome pictures :hudoin:
For me personally I like the black outfit Lancome pics the most, but looks like this Elle session was done in cooperation with Lancome too, because they're tagged at the end under "makeup and care"

Iga wasn't present in What The Vlog Rome trailer. I wonder why? :hmmm:

Maybe because Daria wanted to a moderator of "mental health in tennis" discussion and Kasatkina only wanted to chit-chat with Iga?

If it wasn't sad, it would be funny. By the way, I don't think Swiatek will ever appear on Kasatkina's vlog. That would cause even bigger polemic about her sexual orientation. She seems to be allergic to the word love.

I think Iga is jealous of Kasatkina. She had the courage to come out in even more homophobic country than Poland. The courage Iga seeme no to have. Kasatkina was ridiculised in Russia and was the main face of anti-war movement in Russia. Even though in my opinion Kasatkina's words about the war weren't strong and Pavlyuchenkova or Rublev said similar things, but neither of them is lesbian unlike Kasatkina, so nobody in Russia cared.

Yes. Kasatkina loves and accepts herself in a healthy way. She doesn't try to be someone else. Unlike her, Swiatek doesn't have the courage to be who she really is. Now she's trying to be feminine, although we can all see that she doesn't feel comfortable in dresses, nor with makeup. Feminine is the energy - you have it, or you don't. To me, Swiatek looks more beautiful, natural and attractive in the most ordinary jeans and T-shirt.

Let's not forget how young Iga is. She's in her early 20's. She probably doesn't understand everything and not feel confident about her body/sexuality etc. Also she doesn't have any gay friends to hang out so it's even harder for her. I think she feels little emberassed accompanied by older cool/hot couple like Dasha/Natalia She needs time. I really hope she will make friends with them soon.

She is not so young, please! Someone who is 23 years old is adult. Swiatek is just immature, uneducated and emotionally unintelligent. Also, she has zero empathy.
Well it's difficult to be normal if one is romantically involved with "psychologist"

That won't last long. "Psychologist" will use and leave her. The problem is that Swiatek seems to think it's love. But love is freedom, not prison.

I don’t share your opinion about their relationship. Yes, they're weird, but it doesn't feel like a romantic relationship. Iga is inhibited and tight for a person who is dating someone. All she has on her mind is tennis, and Daria is just there for a tidy sum.

Whatever is between them, it's unhealthy. If not even sick. Just look how the "psychologist" looks at Iga. Any normal person would quickly cut such a woman out of life.

I'm also not convinced it's a romantic relationship, but whatever is going on, I DO think that it's a very toxic relationship. Daria has a concerning amount of control over Iga. It's not healthy.

It's, but if her presence helps Iga to stay calm - let her be, just for now. There's a lot of plans, a lot of tournaments to play. The only thing that bothers me is Daria involvement in finances and the way media portraits Iga

Don‘t think I have ever seen Ons and Iga interact too much.
But Ons is constantly joking about her being Paula‘s best friend, which is a bit weird because she will never be as close to either of them as Paula and Aryna are

Let Abramowicz just violating professional codes. Let this sleazy team drug Iga so they can enjoy her money, Rolexes and Porsches. Let them. Who cares Are you, people, real? Who the hell are you supporting? Whom do you admire? To the idiots who take advantage of a young and naive girl, destroying her health for their own interests.
Tomorrow, no one will be responsible when Iga and other girls hungry for fame and money, have to be treated for steroid addiction. This has nothing to do with sports or a healthy life. "Professional sport" is a dirty business with even dirtier money, in which innocent people suffer.

Da. Apart from the whole Daria drama, I'm just guessing you're the one (or one of) constantly whining in the tennis thread when she wins and that she's on drugs all the time, it's always something's fault, for some mysterious reason usually when she wins. There the drugs, here the dirty sports are at fault.

A now here you are suddenly "caring" about many young girls and people in sports, but you do seem highly obsessed with only one of them. Something tells me the reason for that is not that you're caring, it's possibly something else. Why are you not caring so much about others? Look how many health problems in wta and other sports, so many injuries too, yet no one seems to mention those possibly destoyed healths of other girls. lmao. So playing two fronts in both threads is the way to go. "steroids" "idiots" and so on, it's just too obvious now.

So now Iga and Daria are sightseeing in Rome while the coach has flown to Warsaw to take a break. Probably, as every year, he will return later with the rest of the team. So Iga will now spend a week in Paris alone with the leech. =_=

Well, she is always with Daria. In Rome, she was with the coach and Daria. In 2022 and 2023, the coach would fly to Paris around the time of the second match, while the sparring partner Moczek, the physiotherapist Ryszczuk and the IMG guy would arrive a bit earlier. It is certain, then, that Iga will be alone with Daria for almost a week.

So what if no one, never, nowhere, has mentioned destroying the health of "professional athletes"? That's truth. Are you going to forbid me to write that? Instead of using every opportunity to attack other people here, take a book. Read about the origin of "professional sports", about the history of Olympism, find out who Pierre de Coubertin really was. Watch documentaries about what monstrous experiments are done on "professional athletes". Then you will also be worried about innocent children and people (where Iga also belong) who suffer because of the ideals imposed by some sick people. But, you think it's something else. Super, keep thinking. By the way, I did not mention injuries anywhere, they are not the topic.

And I have never called anyone an idiot on this or any other thread. That's not my style. You're talking to the wrong person.

P.s. Greetings for Nanorobot.

This story with Daria confuses me not because of the age difference, but because she is in the dominant position of the psychologist. It is not normal to interfere in a patient's privacy, even if she asks for it. Perhaps this is a one-sided crush on Daria’s part(?) because I can’t imagine another situation in which you would want to be around all the time, even for the sake of money
Maybe someone here knows: is she present at ALL matches?

I also think Daria has a crush/is in love with Iga. It’s not normal to devote your whole life to someone except you love this person. Coach, physio, sparing partner have their lives and Daria has a fake husband who lives in Canada while she travels with Iga. But I don’t think Iga is in love with her. She is very insecure, introverted and neurotic so she needs someone by her side 24/7. Hope as she will get older she can escape this strange relationship. Iga might be gay but I don’t think Daria is her gf. However now her PR team is trying to make her look more feminine, sexy but it doesn’t suit her imo

Well, as far as I know, if Daria is present at the tournament, she is also present at every match. In the last three seasons, she was only absent at the tournaments in Stuttgart (2022, 2023, 2024) and in Bad Homburg (2023).

It doesn't suit her at all. A feminine look isn't for Iga. While wearing pants, she is very attractive.
I don't understand why she does it, whose attention she wants to attract. You can't attract the right people when you're pretending to be something you're not. If it's for more money, that's extreme. I also don't understand why she straightens her hair. No need for that, Iga has beautiful hair. Abramowicz and love? That's not love. Woman found an opportunity to live (and enjoy) on someone else's account and that's what she's doing.

Poland is a homophobic country. She has to act as a girl and Daria with PR team knows that as more and more people are questioning Iga's sexuality.

There's new material after the tournament in Rome. Daria, as usual, doesn't leave Iga's side. It's also noticeable that their 'hugging' each other is something they probably do very often privately (at 10:02) ...

Then probably boyfriend is next? I mean, they are currently working on making a sex bomb from Iga, so the next thing we can expect is a boyfriend. It is easy to show other people that we are who we aren't. Let's be brave and be who we are. So what if you lose money when you admit you're gay? It's not a shame to lose money, it's a shame to lose a soul. Of course, there is always the possibility that Iga isn't gay. But she can say that too. An exchange of affection with a "psychologist" is so disgusting that it is not worth mentioning.

Well, there’s nothing romantic or sexual in this hug imo, by the way, Iga is the first to pull away and it’s clear that she has nothing to hide.
People may think Iga is awkward and shy, but in my opinion it's just a language barrier. She loves to talk as far as I can tell, always answers in detail

It seems to me that you are too harsh about the PR team, money, Daria and Iga. There is nothing wrong sometimes showing off on the cover of magazine. She is still a public figure and, in addition to her sports career, she can think a little about her future. No one will force her to do what she doesn’t want. If you looked at the official photo after Rome, she posed with the cup in sweatpants and a t-shirt, WITHOUT MAKEUP. She is a young girl, let her try different things, over time she will understand herself and know exactly what she likes.
She looks like a person who is not interested in relationships, perhaps she is thinking about this topic, but she has practically no opportunities for implementation. Unlike other tennis players, she spends at tournaments almost until the very finals and she has little time even for herself, which is why she clings to this Daria so much

Yes. And the hugging stopped as soon as Daria saw those two women walking behind them (so it can be assumed that she realizes that this behavior is inappropriate). What's also interesting is that Daria acts a bit like a paranoid person, always glancing around to see if she is being watched. =_=

Oh, please. No one will force Iga to do what she doesn't want to do? What, if they tell her she wouldn't get paid if she doesn't do something, she wouldn't do what they asked for? Really?A girl can be feminine even in sweatpants, but Iga simply isn't. She can wear a skirt or a dress, she can wear makeup, but she will never be feminine. What she is doing now is running away from herself. There's nothing wrong with masculine energy which she has, but of course it's always easier to put on a mask. It is more painless to be who others expect you to be, rather than who you really are.

I can't... Why are you so emotional? You dont know these people personally, we can only assume about their likings.
You make it look like she radically changed her image because someone forced her. She is exactly the same as she was, maybe even more masculine than before. Even if one day it occurs to her to wear only dresses, that’s her business. She looks happy, which means nothing bothers her (except for Rybakina ahah)
I like to think there is at least one tennis player who get on her nerves

Uf. It must be that you know her personally.
You even know who bothers her and who doesn't. Iga can wear dresses, the point is that they don't fit her. You understand? She may look happy to you, but to me, she doesn't look happy at all. A smile often lie, eyes never.

Can somebody explain me what exactly are obligations of psychologist during tennis training on court? Apart from being bra adjuster like seen in tweet above. Does she earn extra money as ball girl? I guess Wiktorowski has to tolerate that if he wants to keep his job as he realises that Iga is not the most important person in Team Iga…

to be honest, there is no point to her being at training, even Kasatkina’s girlfriend doesn’t always come to practices. Maybe she is sitting there in case Iga needs help with confidence. She's like a rapid response team

Why don't gals just call this thread Daria?, it would be more appropriate, with how much you are obsessed with her instead of Iga.

We need a thread for those of who want to talk about her specifically and her wins and losses and her ads and her friends, everything about her and not some cult about Daria.

Hi guys, I am French and I have the Roland Garros application and Iga did an interview
the reporter asked what the public doesn't know about her... his answer is exactly "Probably a lot of things... I like to keep my life private, so there are still a lot of things you won't know about Me !"
Isn't that fishy?
