lol well it’s hard to run fast when balancing a bucket of snacks on your head. Must save snacks at all costs.
Re: WNBA - Part III
Glad Clark isn’t going to the MET Gala like some had speculated, I couldn’t deal with another round of “why does SHE get all the opportunities!!!” discourse. Season hasn’t even started yet and it’s already been exhausting.
Re: WNBA - Part III
Same . It’s crazy how much stupid discourse is always swirling around her for some dumb reason and she just keeps doing her thing and being the best. Love her on court persona tooGuest wrote: ↑06 May 2024, 16:55I'm in love with Caitlin Clark

No way the WNBA adds more than one expansion team and the way Cathy was talking it didn’t sound she wants to add a team quickly after the Bay Area next year.Guest wrote: ↑07 May 2024, 00:39I think 5, 6, 8 could happen. They're hating on Clark if she went to Met Gala yet they're happy as hell when Angel went lolGuest wrote: ↑06 May 2024, 19:37Glad Clark isn’t going to the MET Gala like some had speculated, I couldn’t deal with another round of “why does SHE get all the opportunities!!!” discourse. I guess we know why they hate Clark
Re: WNBA - Part III
The hypocrisy on WBB twitter is wild. It’s ~great exposure for the league~ for Angel to be at the MET, but Clark getting more tweets from the NBA account than other players is bad. Literally saw a tweet saying players like Pili should be getting the same coverage as Clark LOLGuest wrote: ↑06 May 2024, 19:37Glad Clark isn’t going to the MET Gala like some had speculated, I couldn’t deal with another round of “why does SHE get all the opportunities!!!” discourse. Re: WNBA - Part III
Let’s gooo Kate! Plum’s assessment and kind words about her potential is really nice. It’s basically like an endorsement of why she belongs on the W.
I also like that Kate knows her role is just a role player to the stars and doesn’t want to be “the star”. Watching the practice and scrimmage recording, it looked like she was gelling nicely with the team, especially A’ja Wilson, which is awesome to see.
Gosh I hope she makes it. Every time I see one of those “Ace waives” announcements I hold my breath that it isn’t Kate.
Re: WNBA - Part III
I’m seeing comments that tickets for the previous venue will be refunded and will not be transferred, which is annoying because we bought ours on StubHub before the draft for a good price. Now it sounds like I’m going to have to battle bots on Thursday to try to get tickets for 8 people and hope StubHub will make good on our now useless tickets.Money Moves wrote: ↑07 May 2024, 19:05
Wishing myself and others in a similar position luck… still hoping someday congress will finally do something to stop the ticket bots and the resell market aka scammers/scalpers - I won’t hold my breath on that.
I’m glad the Sparks will get to play in their actual home arena and that more people will now have a chance to attend. Just hoping to be one of the attendees without going broke.
Re: WNBA - Part III
More seats means better chance of getting good seats and lower re-sale prices.Guest wrote: ↑07 May 2024, 20:30I’m seeing comments that tickets for the previous venue will be refunded and will not be transferred, which is annoying because we bought ours on StubHub before the draft for a good price. Re: WNBA - Part III
I just had a moment of panic about not being able to take my niece who is a massive CC and Cam Brink fan, but you’re probably right. The bigger the venue, the better. Like I said, I’m glad the Sparks will get to play in their home arena. Thanks for making me feel a little better about the situation!Guest wrote: ↑07 May 2024, 20:38More seats means better chance of getting good seats and lower re-sale prices.Guest wrote: ↑07 May 2024, 20:30I’m seeing comments that tickets for the previous venue will be refunded and will not be transferred, which is annoying because we bought ours on StubHub before the draft for a good price. Re: WNBA - Part III
The league pass is so weird. I was able to watch the Fever/Wings game but couldn’t get the storm game to play on my Apple TV. Eventually had to cast to tv via my phone but I hate doing that because I’ll scroll my phone during the game. But tonight the league pass works on my Apple TV again, so who knows it’s madness.Guest wrote: ↑08 May 2024, 00:06Am not seeing the game?
Re: WNBA - Part III
Doesn’t look like a sold out game for the Chicago game this time. I wonder if the WNBA will ever give out viewing stats for these preseason games.

I know it's preseason but wtf is going on with the Liberty?

Announcer keep saying it open to only season ticket holders.

Re: WNBA - Part III
Aside from the fact that their starters should be doing better, I feel like roster construction is poor. A past it PG and no depth.Guest wrote: ↑08 May 2024, 00:33I know it's preseason but wtf is going on with the Liberty?
