ok. there were tolls before the leah thread, trolls while it was open, trolls will still exist when it’s unlocked, and trolls will exist for a long time after the leah thread is done. that thread being closed definitely contributes to the problem in here, i’m not denying that. but overall since the world cup the amount of trolls on this site has just absolutely skyrocketed. look at the international thread. the only way to completely solve the problem is if the moderators got a bit of a grip and started to actually ban people.

Also, in terms with the baity trolls on this thread, it doesn’t help that people give in and reply to things. The women's team will follow the blueprint playing out with the men's team right now. The club is fucked under PSR and have returned to the midtable nobodies they were prior to the Russian oligarch turning up. They will not be a force again. Can't expect the women's team will somehow fall away but then get back to the top when the club has no money and is in the hands of clowns. They either stay good under the new manager and every subsequent one or they turn to non-entity shit.

I want Man City to win the league this year, but I really hope Chelsea win the UWCL. Not just because Barca fans have become so annoying and conceited, and the players are poor sports when they lose, but also because it is good for the sport for the very top teams to be challenged. We don't want to go back to the years of Lyon domination (but in Barca form).

In addition, WSL fans like to think we have the best league in the world - if that is the case, fans should want the tops teams winning the UWCL. The fact that Chelsea was the only English side in the UWCL this year, and seemed to have the entirety of WSL fans (minus their own) actively rooting for them to lose is a shame.
