The $700k figure is inaccurate, I am not sure how they got it but no school is paying women’s players that much. Almost all NIL money for women’s sports come from outside collectives, most collective money is tied up with football. Kiki is leaving because Stanford is moving to the ACC and the coach she committed to retired.

The TikTok edits and comments on Bueckers are wild and sometimes inappropriate. This comment was removed I think but a girl posted that it’s well known Paige likes women because her old (female) roommate matched with Paige on Tinder. Other comments from UConn students say it’s not a secret.

So much “why didn’t they have the champions on!!!” from South Carolina fans about Clark being on SNL, they really are the most annoying fanbase sometimes.
The skit was to promote the draft and Clark is going to be the #1 pick and is by far the most popular college player. Not sure how you can even question why they’d have her on.

Now I think it would have been better to have Reese on with Clark, they are two of the biggest names and they could have made it work to give others spotlight if it was “just to promote the draft”.

Foreign players can get NIL from “passive” sources like this. I believe the limitation on NIL is actually a visa issue (work v school) and not an ncaa issue. So players can’t do photo shoots or promote items while in the US to make money.
