Marketing there would be great too since that’s Azzi’s hometown team and I’m pretty sure Paige lives in the DMV during the summers now as well.
Honestly there’s a few teams that really need marquee players, WNBA needs to start rigging the lottery like the NBA to set the league up for success

Yeah KK is a good backup but she’s not starter quality, but when UCONN is up by 20 in a game she can come in so Paige actually has a chance to rest for a change.
KK will be greatly improved next season, also Geno probably isn’t looking for Chen to be the primary ball handler and more as the off guard. But he may bring KK off the bench for a defensive spark that he liked from Griffin who will be out until around late December/January.
KK will be better next year but if they get Chen she will obviously start over KK, could easily be : Bueckers, Chen, Fudd, Strong, El Afy
Honestly, I'm not against getting Chen even if they have too many guards because it's honestly only Paige you can really count on. Caroline idk if she'll even play and Azzi's gonna be limited for a bit and it'll take her time to be effective. KK and Ash will make jumps but how high? And then the freshmen are unproven obviously. So an experienced guard isn't a bad thing. But they really need a big. I know they're high on Jana but putting all that expectation on a freshman coming back from injury doesn't sound like a great idea.

I think if they can get her campus they have a shot but OU hiring her coach from OSU is tough to compete with. Plus I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a grad transfer post who may not be in the portal yet on his radar that may give a little more roster flexibility for the following season.

Yeah KK is a good backup but she’s not starter quality, but when UCONN is up by 20 in a game she can come in so Paige actually has a chance to rest for a change.
KK will be greatly improved next season, also Geno probably isn’t looking for Chen to be the primary ball handler and more as the off guard. But he may bring KK off the bench for a defensive spark that he liked from Griffin who will be out until around late December/January.
KK will be better next year but if they get Chen she will obviously start over KK, could easily be : Bueckers, Chen, Fudd, Strong, El Afy
Honestly, I'm not against getting Chen even if they have too many guards because it's honestly only Paige you can really count on. Caroline idk if she'll even play and Azzi's gonna be limited for a bit and it'll take her time to be effective. KK and Ash will make jumps but how high? And then the freshmen are unproven obviously. So an experienced guard isn't a bad thing. But they really need a big. I know they're high on Jana but putting all that expectation on a freshman coming back from injury doesn't sound like a great idea.
