Another bad loss for Dallas, 7 in a row.
You are not going to be winning team if Arike is your best player. There is a reason she wasn’t really in the running for the Olympics and it wasn’t “politics”
Yeah, well the 2 teams with half the Olympic roster are .500 or under.

For all these ridiculously missed calls the refs should get strikes and whoever has the most strikes against them by the end of the season should get fined or docked somehow. Or if the coaches complain during or afterwards and they review it and find that the refs were in the wrong, coaches/players shouldn’t be the ones fined for complaining on such awful officiating.
But it’s just part of the game when it’s on CC and the Fever? Hmm :eyeroll:
No when it is on anyone else the refs should be investigated and punished. But when the same thing happen to CC everyone must stop buying tickets and supporting the league!

The REAL reason some players don't like Clark. The same sentiment expressed in that ESPN podcast (posted above) is what Wilson expresses here.

There's a reason why EVERYONE in and around the league said Wilson deserved a signature shoe before Clark. For abut a month they ALL asked "Where's A'ja's signature shoe?" https://andscape.com/features/caitlin-c ... a-wilsons/

The suggestion is that "I worked for and earned everything I have and what you got is because you're white."

I regret cheering for the Aces last year. And what they did to Hamby was also stupid.
Jealous of a shoe deal. More whataboutisms trying to act like CC don’t have the college numbers to back it up
WNBA is a whole different game, baby.
That’s a weak as fuck argument when you’re crying over CC getting a shoe deal as she turned professional. Weak as fuck.

What I hate the wnba for is the draft system and especially that teams are “tanking” the season and intentionally lose their games to be given the #1 pick. In other countries this would be called fraud. In the NWSL it is better now, great college players can go to Europe, earn good money, maybe play Champions league and just say No

Nah they reality is they're doing humiliation ritual on Clark. You can deny it all you want but even general public already notice the hostility from WNBA players. Next year the white family who brought their children will not buy tickets anymore when Clark retire because of the bullying. But I'm sure you and Dijonai will be happy about WNBA being exclusive to black people again, even tho they never come to the game.

It seems to me that WNBA media don't want the league to be popular, they want it to be that indie band before they blew up.

I know this is pretty stupid to ask, because if it’s posted here it will be ruined pretty quickly as well. But are there actually any lesbian spaces left for discussing the WNBA that haven’t been ruined since the CC insanity set in?

I have been reading this board and the other one for so many years and it was such a delightful place (minus some trolls here and there) for discussing all the specific ins and outs of gay players.

There are so many places for general WNBA discussion but nowhere else that cares about Candace’s new baby photos or which players might be gay. It really is devastating that both boards have been totally taken over and ruined by imposters and CC insanity. I have been a WNBA super fan for so many years but am enjoying it so much less this year because the online discussion is just so toxic. :bigcry:

I hear you. Unfortunately the trolls (mostly one in particular, the corn fucker troll) has gone out of their way to ruin any normal conversation about women’s basketball. I’m convinced that they may also be the one posting the insane CC takes just to get the placed riled up.

This is the only place I come to talk about women’s basketball. Gay or straight. People say you can discuss basketball anywhere but I don’t want to go to those places because it’s mostly egotistical men mansplaining and/or ruining the vibe with their know-all attitudes and male toxicity. I’d much rather discuss basketball with women and fellow lesbians than going to Reddit or some other forum.

I like discussing Clark, Brink, Reese, Plum, A’ja, etc. even though they’re straight (as far as we know). I like discussing Martin, Stewie, Bonner, AT, DT, etc not just because they’re gay but also because they’re good players. I like discussing basketball here period because I trust the takes and appreciate the thought and knowledge brought to the table. Minus the trolls trying to control the conversation. So I hope we can continue discussing WBB and just ignore the trolls trying so hard to shut down the conversations.
DA Aww the CC hater troll keep replying to themselves lmao. This troll already calling CC "corn fucker" even since she's in Iowa. Always find a way to bashed CC on the other lchat. Both in college and wnba thread. Pretty sure this troll is also the one spamming the wnba thread in the other lchat.

Clark enduring humiliation ritual from WNBA. They will keep doing it until she's mentally and physically broken.
