Apparently, she was willing to leave Barca last summer, but things between Arsenal and Barca fell apart because of differences in the negotiations. She also apparently doesn’t seem to want to re-sign for them.
Honestly, Arsenal need another DM, Barca need money, Arsenal have money, Keira’s already won it all (twice over). Why not?
She’s already said in an interview in the camp that she was leaving. Listen to the interview she talks about Barcelona in the past tense and it not a misplaced comment
Doesn't mean barca will let her go though? Also Aresnal don't NEED her, they just want her. And she won't be cheap.
Barca either let her go now, and make a profit from selling her. Or they let her go next year, and get nothing while Arsenal get her on a free. They’d rather make a profit.
Also Arsenal do have money, they throw it away on pointless players all the time, like Hurtig.
And Arsenal DO need her. The only 6 they have is Wälti, who’s older (30+) and injury prone. They bought KCC to try and have depth, but she’s better in the 8 position. And with Pelova’s injury now, it’s where KCC will have to play as Maanum and Little are 10’s. Therefore Arsenal have no depth at 6 and are relying on a player who hasn’t stayed fit an entire season for years, to try and to do, despite getting older, and with their hopes to play in every competition therefore Wälti will be overplayed without option of rotation. So ultimately… They need a DM. Walsh is perfect, because she’s experienced, proven herself in that role her whole career, and she’s in her prime years now.
