So Amy said that stina will almost certainly stay at Arsenal, and she also seems to be upset about Viv and her head loss. Says Arsenal don’t have the time to have someone like that on the team
It’s her opinion Stina will stay. She doesn’t seem to know anything concrete on where Viv will go, and even doesn’t seem to be 100% in the know about whether she will go.

Probably right anyway tho tbf. I don’t see Viv staying at all now, and I hope we do keep Stina.
She seems to be getting her information from Tim Stillman who I would assume is somewhat in the know?

Sure.

Except yk… All players from the winning team in the 1966 World Cup Final were awarded the MBE.

Guess the monarchy and the institution has been dead since 1966!
I could see them fobbing it off as the Euros isn't on the same level as the World Cup. But if the Lionesses win the WC in the future and don't get the same treatment, you'll know exactly why that is.
The annoying thing is that it 100% would’ve been awarded to the men had they won that last Euros. And it will 100% be awarded to them if they win this one too.
oh for sure. i remember hearing people saying it should happen at the time, and that southgate would get mbe too. they’ll say it again this year if they win i bet.

i imagine now though they’ve put themselves in a tough spot because they definitely were dismissing it as the euros not being as big as a wc win when it came to the women, so they can’t really award it to the men now as an entire team without it being controversial.
Da. I remember people saying that too, but it was more a personal opinion thing, I never saw anything concrete on it. So hard to say if it actually would’ve happened. Agree though, they won’t do it now regardless.
Pretty much every media outlet at the time was saying that the men’s team should/would receive MBE’s if they won the Euro final. And that those who already had those honours would be upgraded. It was definitely going to happen, but they lost and so it didn’t.

That's just not how these institutions work. The day they dilute it to that level, is the day that the monarchy is on its deathbed and on its way to becoming a republic.

Aston Villa under DVD2 in the WSL:
4 wins
1 draw
9 losses
2 clean sheets
31 goals conceded

Aston Villa under Anna Leat / Sophia Poor in the WSL:
4 wins
2 draws
2 losses
3 clean sheets
10 goals conceded

:hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm:
When I mentioned Villa having a better second half of the season to me it had little to do with goalies but more so the outfield playing better. Although I did think Leat and Poor were great!!

I think their midfield and attacking players were organized better and blended together allowing the team to have more success. Another thing I thought hampered them a bit was always looking for Daly to take the shots. It took away some of the creators abilities to pick out other options. To me that looked like a game plan. But then moving Daly to a deeper role later on in season allowed for a bit more versatility in the mid and attack. Also having Nobbs in almost an 8/6 role really helped the defense. Honestly for me, she was one of their most consistent players this season.

The outfield just gelled better second half. But like I said they had some really bad luck and red card suspensions that all played a part in the team’s confidence. They turned it around second half. I think DVD2 could have added to this improvement. She is a very strong goalie. That’s why it’s a shame the coach is leaving. A few defensive additions to the current team would really be all I would change.
Good summation. Jordan Nobbs at 8 is just chef's kiss.

DVD2 isn't shit, she's clearly got potential, but she's not a ready #1 for Arsenal. To pay her transfer fee just for her to be benched for Zinsberger - because Zinsberger is still statistically outperforming her - is just a bad deal for both Arsenal and DVD2. Arsenal are better off acquiring an immediate band-aid in MEarps, or holding off and going for DVD2 or some other new up and coming gk talent in the January transfer round.

x2 to the bolded. I'm still reeling from Carla Ward leaving. I was getting ready to start fights if she was going to be ousted, so the fact that she's chosen to leave has me sad for any managerial prospects in the WSL going forwards.
I think Carla ward has recently got divorced? Clearly loves spending time with her kid. I think her leaving is a purely personal life thing. Happy she wasn’t chucked. Also hope it’s not because she’s felt so bad about the performance this year. I know Villa had a bad season (compared to last year) but I thought they were building something good there. Also a team with a bit of personality, not like Leicester or Brighton who are as dull as dishwater. Hope they get someone good in, preferably a woman
She's recently going through a divorce? Where are you reading/hearing that?

I think if Grace is there with Leah, Leah doesn't even let her share that. It's strange that Leah suddenly follows Lily Moore on Twitter... But I still think Grace has a collab with that hotel. Or she's there with Noah, Aaron or her mother.
Please don’t be this dense lol I’m just begging for you lot to accept that they are dating and she’s now close to her girlfriend’s friends as well. She was her date to Alex Scott’s birthday, sitting across Alex and her gf Jess. Grace just woke up one day and decided to befriend a bunch of lesbian footballers (a sport she doesn’t give af about) please consider getting your head out of your arses and grow tf up
Ok.

- Grace wasnt at Leah’s OBE dinner despite not seeming to do anything that day. A bunch of Leah’s other close friends and even the likes of Alex were there.

- Grace is never at any other event for Leah that’s thrown by her family. She wasn’t even at the book celebration party thrown by a family member, she posted to her stories with a friend that day. She also wasn’t at Leah’s mums birthday party or Leah’s cousins baby’s birthday party, again posting to her story those days elsewhere. The only events she does go to that are for Leah are the ones thrown by friends.

- Considering close Leah is to her family and how much time she spends with them, you’d think her partner would be with her at those. I mean, look at how close Jordan was to Leah’s family ffs.

- We don’t have much to go off in terms of judging Grace’s relationships with Leah’s family. But we do know she’s the type to follow someone as soon as they meet them, that’s been shown over and over. Yet she’s never followed anyone from Leah’s dads side of the family (and yes, Leah is very close to them, they’re just not public), she doesn’t follow Leah’s brother and didn’t seem to meet him when he was back from Aus, etc. The only family members she does follow are the ‘surface level’ type family members, that anyone who’s around Leah enough would eventually get close to (aka cousins, Leah’s mum).

- Also the only time we’ve seen Grace around Leah’s nan, who Leah is very very close with, was at a game in the stands. In all of the videos, they don’t even acknowledge eachother. At one point Grace walks right past her and doesn’t even look at her. And yes I know, it’s one day. But still. Again comparing to Jordan (as she’s the only relationship we can base things off with Leah), Jordan was very close to Leah’s family and nan and always talking to them. Even after they broke up. You never saw them blatantly ignore eachother.

- Leah seemingly does not spend much time with Grace’s friends and family. She wasn’t at Grace’s mums birthday party. When they are together, it’s with Leah’s friends. Odd for a couple you’d think they’d hang out with both.

- Leah often chooses to spend time without Grace. She’ll go to Paris for a day, and doesn’t bring her. She goes to New York for whatever and doesn’t bring her. She goes on fucking holiday and instead brings Alex Scott her mate. She goes to cabins with Lia, Steph and Kim and doesn’t bring her. She went to Barcelona and brought Laura Wienroither instead of Grace, when it actually could’ve been a double date thing with Keira and Feiersinger. And so on and so on. Grace does not work a 9-5 and very often is free, yet she’s never brought along. (In comparison, Leah and Jordan were literally attached at the hip. People used to joke they were codependent because Leah never went anywhere without Jordan and Jordan never went anywhere without Leah) (Even Keira brings Feiersinger along with her to places, as do most people in relationships ffs).

- Despite them knowing eachother over a year now, they’ve never once seemed to have been on a trip alone together. Grace posts everything, we’d get even just a hint and yet nothing. The only holiday they have been on was a group trip to Ibiza last summer. That’s not couple behaviour whatsoever. And Leah has had the time off too.

- Grace and Lia didn’t even seem to know eachother until maybe the end of last year. Which is very odd considering Lia literally moved in with Leah during her ACL. I know if my girlfriend had a friend move in with her to help during a hard time, i’d instantly bond with that person. Not only would you be around them more naturally, but you’d just have a lot of respect for what they’re doing. And yet they didn’t even seem to be around eachother until months later, Grace didn’t follow her until a dinner they were both at together?? How does that make sense. It’s weird.

- Speaking of Leah’s ACL, Grace completely disappeared as soon as she did it. Not only did she post that she’d never been happier to her stories on the day Leah tore her ACL (interpret that how you like), she didn’t seem to be around for weeks. Alex was with Leah at her surgery and afterwards, not Leah’s apparent girlfriend?? Grace wasn’t around enough to properly help out her girlfriend and so Leah had to move in? Yeah right.

- Leah’s only been to like two of Grace’s shows. And yes I know she doesn’t have many, but still. Even Grace only bothers to go to the big games now at the Emirates, and the one time she did go to Meadow Park it was with Sian and Josie too.

- Speaking of games. Grace was not at the game in which Leah returned from ACL. Or her first game back at Meadow Park either. That’s weird as fuck if they’re dating. If i’m dating someone who’s been through a career diverting serious injury like that and is finally back, you can bet your life im gonna be there when they do. She didn’t even seem to be doing anything those days either.

- Speaking of Grace’s shows. While Leah was at the June one last year, she was literally on her phone spam liking some models posts btw. And she frequently follows hot women and models.

- Leah also frequently follows very random women she has no connections to whatsoever and who don’t even seem to be in England. One or two of them had been found on Raya and it was posted in Leah’s thread ages back, and i’m guessing that’s how Leah’s come across them too. Why would she be following them if she had a girlfriend? Why spam like models posts if she’s got a girlfriend?

- Grace hangs out with Leah’s friends literally without Leah there. And has done for pretty much this whole time now. She’s been to restaurants with Laura Wienroither (and after a literal game once) and Leah didn’t go. She hangs out with Sian very regularly. Has even hung out with Laura Feiersinger without Leah present. And has watched Keira play without Leah present. That to me says she’s just a part of the friend group, and friends with them all including Leah. I mean, you don’t see Feiersinger hanging out with Leah’s mates without Keira present.

+ I could literally go on for fucking days here. It’s been in my head for over a year because whenever I open a thread it’s there and unfortunately for me I have a great memory. I’m literally tired of this shit.
And this is long as fuck, i’m aware but I don’t care. It’s just as long as the absolute pages you lot drag this on for. I’m not shutting down the possibility that they could be something, but to me it’s very obvious it’s not a serious committed relationship. This shit has gone round in circles since that very first day over a year ago (when Josie posted a story calling Grace HER wag, not Leah’s wag or anything but JOSIE’s). It never ends and there’s no evidence at all to suggest it’s gotten so committed and serious, it’s just the same shit repetitively.
You are very thoughtful essay anon. I like people that have a good memory.

lol, i’m a leah fan myself and don’t see why anyone would bother to post it here tbh. her being at a country concert isn’t anything surprising in itself, would’ve predicted she would go to this anyway. don’t see the point bringing it up as though it’s a discussion topic lol.
I swear, I’ve never seen someone let us know when any player is at a concert. Different if you think they’re with someone they’re dating etc and can having a gossip but just saying they’re at a concert? Dead

Still don't understand why Keira wasn't given one. They won the Euros because of her performance in the final.
I don’t get this either actually. One of their best players in the Euros and featured in both the Euros and World Cup too. You’d think she’d have at least gotten a shout after the WC.

That's just not how these institutions work. The day they dilute it to that level, is the day that the monarchy is on its deathbed and on its way to becoming a republic.

Unpopular opinion: I liked Lucy's fit for hers, but once again didn't like the makeup and also felt the hair could have maybe been done better to suit for the hat she was wearing (like maybe hair up instead of down)

That's just not how these institutions work. The day they dilute it to that level, is the day that the monarchy is on its deathbed and on its way to becoming a republic.
Sure.

Except yk… All players from the winning team in the 1966 World Cup Final were awarded the MBE.

Guess the monarchy and the institution has been dead since 1966!
lmaoooo. didn’t realise we’d started to become republic for so many years wow

lol what? those are Mary's four guests: from left to right, her mom, gran, Kitty, and her dad
Thanks for clarifying. But she could just be her "friend".
Yeah!! Gal pals!!!!
Lmaooo. “And history will call them close friends, besties, roommates, colleagues”
The greatest of gals, being the bestest of pals.

I liked Mary's fit but didn't like her makeup.

Unpopular opinion: I liked Lucy's fit for hers, but once again didn't like the makeup and also felt the hair could have maybe been done better to suit for the hat she was wearing (like maybe hair up instead of down)
Wow I think this might be the most Tory anon i’ve seen in a while on here.

Certain "singer" keeps losing followers
ok? she is a singer, it’s her literal profession. if you want to shame on someone not being some superstar then you do you i guess, even if it is weird. especially for someone who follows women’s football, which until recent years didn’t even have widely known stars. you lot are genuinely so weird. i dont even care for her myself but the obsessed hatred is crazy.

I think you’re weird for acting like this is anything
Instagram posts barely show up when you’re scrolling anyway, never mind a day later. For two people you’re close to
DA What do you mean?

No, it's because Keira has spent her days off with Leah, no one knows where, and that's why they both commented at the same time a day late.
How do you know she’s with Leah then?
Because in Keira's thread they know she hasn't been to Rome on her days off and I think someone said they saw her in London? so...
Very very bold guess
