It‘s especially ironic to say that right before the start of Miami, when she was the one who triggered the cakegate from last year. And also she was one of the players that signed the letter to the WTA requesting more prize money.

I’m sick of players like her and Halep with this crap. If they feel that way they should donate half their pay cheque to a male player because obviously men are superior and deserve the money more
it’s atrocious they get all the benefits of the players like BJK and Venus and then spout this crap. These girls are their own worst enemies. Also players today are so selfish, I remember either Chrissy or Martina talking about how they would always ensure at least one of them was playing at all tournaments because they knew they were the huge draw cards, even if they needed a break etc. The players today take these huge pay cheques for granted and can’t even promote their own sport. Makes it hard to GAF when they don’t even care. I’m sad seeing Danimal is retiring this year, I’ve seen a clip of her saying she loves women’s sports and doesn’t watch men. At least she knows how to promote.
Also on another note sad about Basoda. I keep waiting for her to get her groove back but now sounds doubtful
