Who’s that next to her? It’s not Grace or Josie. Definitely not Sian. I don’t even think that’s Amy either. Also the hair doesn’t remind me of any of the Arsenal girls so I don’t think it’s any of them.
I don’t recognise them either and I don’t think it’s one of Grace or Josie’s friends. So idk.
Isn't it Josie's cowboy hat?
Probably. I’m not denying that she was there with Leah, they’re mates so it’s the obvious conclusion. But that person sat opposite Leah isn't Josie, and that’s who we’re trying to figure out.

I was right, Leah attended the concert last night. Friendly reminder: not everyone here is a troll.
Maybe Grace didn't attend the concert? It's strange that she doesn't post that she attended the concert.
Your assumption was right, yes. Unless it was not an assumption because you have been there and saw them but please tell us more then. Friendly reminder: If you mark your assumptions as assumptions, no one will think you are a troll.

Well, according to Josie's stories, she was at a country concert in London last night, so we already know Grace and Leah were there too.
Cowboy Josie is in her country area. Hoping she gets a country prep playlist too. And if Leah was there, she would already have been in Josie's story.
She’s also in her fitness era, running marathons and getting a peloton. Being friends with footballers she doesn’t want to be the chubby bunny now lol
So embarrassing that you keep up with her enough to know she’s supposedly on a fitness journey. You lot are so strange

Since the NYE disaster, Josie and Grace no longer share pictures of Leah, but I'll betting all my money that Leah also attended the gig.
Josie did share Leah content after NYE. Sometimes she does it unobtrusively. She and Grace are addicted to sharing things on Instagram. Josie even shares in her story that she was at an actor's funeral.

I have a feeling Chloe Kelly will also be leaving City at the end of the season. I think she will go to Lyon or Barcelona too, the fact that she has officially put contact talks and negotiations on hold until the end of the season suggests to me that she is likely to be leaving also
she’s not going to barca lmaooo
The rumor was that PSG was interested, also Kelly's contract doesnt end this year no? If a transfer fee has to be paid, I think it will be PSG
She is deffo leaving
Great career move for her and her development to play for a European team

Obviously a good move for trophies and she’ll get to okay the odd game- but realistically, minute wise, she’d be better off at a different club.
I still find it so puzzling that even before her stroke, Taylor dropped her from the squad. Makes you wonder what went on behind the scenes coz there’s no way it was over that red card at the end of the season.

Also i think Barca have probably said she will be in contention for the starting position at some point as she has stated in interviews she wants to be playing. If she just wanted trophies she could have just stayed at city tbh.
I also find it baffling how he dropped her after that red card last season and wouldn't even put her on the bench at the start of this season. Taylor seems to love to bench Lioness players in general (Morgan and Kelly also come to mind). I do wonder what the overall environment is like there right now.

No offence. But what trophies have City won this season? If they don’t win the league they’ve had a less successful season than bloody Arsenal lmao. When was the last time they had a good run in the Champions League? Have they ever won it? No.

If she wants trophies, she’d go to Barca not just stay at City. Dumb thing to say honestly. Now i’m not saying that’s all of why she’s going there, but it probably will have played a part, and also Barca’s schedule with the amount of games they play and competitions they’re in, there’s obviously more minutes available.

lol english fans who didn't want ellie to leave wsl are being heavily in denial and posting in bad faith. at first they insisted ellie wont go there. now this. barca has a relatively short squad and both their current gks get almost 50/50 play time in all comps. liga f has more teams so more matches. and barca takes part in four comps deep in the season. they definitely need two gks minimum to rotate healthily and jona definitely use to. she was out of england england cause of no minutes with city. she will absolutely play enough with barca to get back in squad for euros.

I'm so happy for Ellie. After the year she's had she deserves this. She'll be a cracking goalkeeper for Barca!
I hope it works out for her but realistically I can’t see her playing enough to compete with Earps, Hampton or Keating to get back into the England squad.
Even though she won't get minutes in every match, it still is a good move for her to go somewhere with a strong defense in front of her that will make her look good in the minutes she does play vs. going to a WSL team lower down on the table whose defense won't help her overall stats any. I truly don't think Hannah Hampton would impress people nearly as much if she didn't have Chelsea's defenders in front of her keeping her from having to do much or make too many difficult saves.

How many clubs would be willing to have someone who has not played an entire season to be the first choice goalkeepers?
Even as a second keeper in Barca she'll get minutes, she'll get to play some Liga F games and Cup games to give rest to Cata, considering the amount of games Barca plays in a season.
She’ll be third choice surely?
Cata
Font
Then Ellie?
Gemma will probably keep being the 3rd goalkeeper, she is shorter than both and she is a good backup to have just in case.

How do you “already know” that ffs? You have no clue. Grace and Josie went to a country concert recently without Leah, hung out with Sian without Leah the other day, etc. Stop assuming things with literally 0 proof.
Yes but that gig was last night at the O2, not the night they hung out with Sian.
Ok? When did I say the opposite?

I was just pointing out they’re often without Leah, so it’s not even the safe guess to assume Leah’s there. Not even at a country concert, because that’s also been shown recently that they’ll go without her.

Unless you get actual proof she was there, stop bringing up the things they do in here and acting as though you “already know” things you don’t. Grace and Josie without Leah are irrelevant to a football thread, so stop bringing them up.

I think they would adjust, also there is a language barrier and therefore you would have to fight on and off the pitch for your spot.
Also when every position has a top player u are constantly sparred

That’s not the case in the current set up for arsenal and it’s unclear what Jonas actually wants playing wise, cuz it’s not working they’re not getting better or at least not better to compete for the league, just the top 3 right now
I think you can really see Jonas’ lack of proper management is a problem when it comes to the smaller games. Like they’ll beat Chelsea in a final (even if it is Conti cup) or in the league or whatever, but then they’ll lose to Spurs for the first time? Lost to West Ham? The Paris FC knockout is another, but to give that team some credit they did also knockout Wolfsburg and had an alright run. But yeah, there’s just no guidance there and they lose their way against smaller teams. It’s stupid. Yes the players play their part for sure, but it does stem from the manager here.
Yep, the lack of consistency is a maaaasssive problem. Also the choice of assistant coaches. The tall guy that holds him back when Jonas looses it, he is the set piece coach - how often do we score on set pieces etc… feels like a Buddy gang and not top flight coaches
For sure that guy needs sacking. Horrible at his job. Clearly. Our set pieces have actually been worse this season than last, which I didn’t think was possible.

Also think the decision to get Kelly Smith was a stupid one. No offence. She’s actually only made our forwards less effective, I think. Her style is not at all fitting to the modern game and neither are her ideas. Love her as a player, not as a coach. She isn’t even a completely certified one either and has not coached in the WSL before. It’s showing.
I don’t think Kelly is the problem tho, it’s Jonas way of playing/thinking. His tactics is holding everything back. She works for him ya know. The set pieces… yeah the stats don’t lie on that one
Da

The reason arsenal lost to Liverpool, spurs and West Ham is down to not being able to finish the many chances that they created. That’s Kelly smiths job

Idk. I get what you’re saying but that it’s also massively dependent on the environment. If you’re in an environment where that’s not the standard, then you would see it as harder to take that because it’s just not the norm and would be completely different. When you move to a club with a different environment, that one slowly becomes the norm to you and managers calling out different types of things becomes the norm. It’s all very just relative to the current situation you’re in and what’s normal to you at that time.
