Cool fact,
Leah is releasing 2 more books. 1 in August and one in April of next year. So in total 5 books with Macmillan. Someone’s 3 book deal turned into 5. (4 books with her cousin and 1 with Suzy the wreck from the guardian)

U can see the unreleased but planned ones here https://www.panmacmillan.com/authors/jo ... over/46415
On Jordan’s description it says wonder team is her debut novel, so what was she doing before?
Must be some good book sales numbers behind it?

Nah that will be Leah and Heath in Bilbao at Barca or OL celebrations.
It's refreshing to see her own fans relish in the thought of Leah Williamson being a walking STD petri dish, alcoholic homewrecker.

Cheers, mate!
Leah’s not the one that owes Press loyalty.
True.

However, Leah obviously has no issue thirsting over and flirting excessively with women who are in an already established relationship with a long-time partner. Moral values and self accountability must matter at some point, drunk or not.

Grace Carter was so proud of that d*ck keychain. Embarrassing. She is almost 30 walking around with a plastic d*ck and making videos about it. Why is Leah clinging on to her? Weird

Why people in this thread paint Leah as a sex hungry person. To me see seems asexual
Because she is an alcoholic who hangs out with people like this :

Also Grace used to walk around with a plastic blue p---- as a keychain and said it was a great conversation starter.

So yea Leah is hanging out with crass people

No lmao. People use the word underrated far too much these days. 99.9999% of the players called it very much aren’t underrated.
da. i don’t really know how to phrase this lol. but i feel like a lot of players aren’t so much underrated as they are undervalued.

take keira for example, i do think people now recognise her talent and how instrumental she is, particularly to england. like it’s not some big secret. but when it comes to awards, i think she can still be undervalued there.

and i do think there is a difference. to me being underrated is basically being an invisible player who no one really recognises for anything they do, whereas being undervalued is sort of not getting personal awards for what it is you do.
I get u & agree. Keira was def the best example here. She’s 100% not an underrated player anymore, after you have a record breaking transfer to the top domestic team in the world, it’s hard to argue that you’re still underrated lol. And then when people constantly point out how integral you are to your country and opposition say they try and mark you out… again, you’re no longer underrated. That’s people very much seeing you and your talent. But she for sure can go undervalued when it comes to awards.
Da. Why is that though? How can a player be a record signing, be seen as so integral and the person to mark out, etc etc, and yet still not be the one to get individual awards?
lack of a strong pr team and presence. has a lot more of an impact than you’d think.
💯. A PR team plays very important role when it comes to recognition and awards. It's like your mouthpiece. I am from India, where cricket is followed like a religion and I have seen how some player's PR team work rather overwork. They may fail, but when it comes to bigger platform, they are hailed as the best of the rest. That's what happened with one of the previous men's cricket team captain when they won WC.

Oh boy. More adults/oleer teens/ stans at kids books signings then.. here we go, Leah will never know peace.
She could stop writing them or having book signings if she wants. She’s not some victim.
Tell me you go to the children’s book signings without telling me you go to the children’s book signings.
No definitely not. Don’t even live in England and definitely wouldn’t go to Leah’s book signing of all people lol. It’s just that there are ways for her to avoid things she doesn’t like… by just not doing them…
But what if she wants to do it but for the intended target group… ya know the kids? Up to like 12 not weird stans that didn’t get the memo? Even tho it’s hella clear it’s not for them?

She had a decent goal tally last season too and her contract expires in the Summer. A bigger club will likely snap her up and bench her for next season

I think I saw a stat saying that she'd scored over 50% of Brighton's goals this season, insane carry job

Impressive, especially considering she plays for Brighton. Wonder what that’d look like if she played for a top 3 club.
I wonder how she’d do at Liverpool. They’re in need of a striker aren’t they?
yeah they are.

i don’t follow liverpool much but based on what i’ve seen on here, she could fit the profile they go for too. she’s young and not really all that established. they also likely wouldn’t have to pay a substantial amount for her and break their budget.

She’s not English and she doesn’t play for Arsenal, Chelsea, City, or United. So it’s not really that surprising.

Mostly just that she’s competing with names that are a lot more popular and pushed in the media than she is. Even though she’s recognised for what she does a lot more now, it still doesn’t compare to the hype you see around certain players, particularly the ones in that Barça squad.

Da. Why is that though? How can a player be a record signing, be seen as so integral and the person to mark out, etc etc, and yet still not be the one to get individual awards?
I think it’s down to a few things.

For one, if you look at Barcelona for example, they have a hell of a lot of great players. When it comes down to awards, it is hard to compete in that area, and more often than not I feel like it’s going to lean towards a Spanish player (the same way English clubs and fans tend to lean towards English players). Then it also goes to like the most prolific, and Keira’s not really up there as highest scoring or anything lol.

Also, and no offence here, but I feel Keira sort of lacks a really strong brand, which is necessary for individual awards. Look at Bonmati and Putellas, you hear about them non stop through the entire year and their PR massively pushes them. It’s part of why they win, part of why Putellas won her second Balon D’Or despite her ACL. Same on the men’s side, look at Bellingham right now and the PR around him. Personally I feel Keira does just lack that, which is fine, but it will impact her when it comes to things like the Balon D’Or and such.

I'm sorry but it's what I remember, it was an interview where she talked about ACL injuries and complained because she thought the lionesses were going to have more vacations this summer since they are not going to play in the Olympics but she found out that even so, they are going to have three weeks of camp in July. It's not trolling, it's a real interview.
I never said you were making it up. I’m talking about you making this about Leah for absolutely no reason. & Again with the mentioning of Leah talking about schedules, when, like I said, numerous players, managers, staff, and football federations/associations themselves have also talked about the schedule. You’re clearly one of those trolls, it’s easy to spot with the way you make out it’s always Leah complaining because she wants a vacation or some shit.

Also she was talking about the camp in regard to the players who had played at the World Cup and not had a summer off, not just herself there (“they’ll get a summer off everyone needs a rest and now they’ll get one”). Literally talking about those WC players who hadn’t had time off. Personally I don’t see the issue with her pointing out the problems with that, it is wrong and overloading the players. Also. Like she said, “at the end of the World Cup, some of the girls came back and had five days off. Five days, after getting to the final.” That was wrong, the scheduling wasn’t fair on those players.

You all constantly want to turn this into some weird thing, but there is a scheduling issue right now in the women’s game. The problem, I don’t think, isn’t the amount of games, just how they’re scheduled. A lot of players haven’t had a summer off in years, they’re in schedules that mean they rarely even get time to recover. With the ACL epidemic right now, a lot more people are being asked about it and overload is one of the many factors. It’s not wrong to point out that scheduling can make a player more susceptible to injury.
Then tell them to go get a job as a school teacher. She will have two full months off with no football. One in June and one after the July qualifiers. Not sure how much more she wants. DA
DA. If you'd read the interview in question what she says is really pretty reasonable. She said they should make it so that after the season ends they get 4 straight weeks of time off where neither club nor country can touch the players so they can properly rest and then they'd have 6 weeks of pre-season to properly get ready.
Well then they would have to shorten the WSL season by two weeks and to do that they would have to have midweek games which I’m sure she would complain about too. She can always decline an England call up if she really wants rest.
There is no scheduling issue in the women’s game. They get a month off at Christmas and then several months off in the Summer. They play next week and they’re not back til October. Respectively they need to stop complaining. You’re going to play every minute for club and country for a few years (and that’s if you’re very lucky, only the absolute top of the top) and they’re spending that time complaining that’s it’s too much? Just enjoy your years? It’s not gonna last that long

hemp so underrated by the British media
is she :spy:

How can a player be a record signing, be seen as so integral and the person to mark out, etc etc, and yet still not be the one to get individual awards?

lmaoo. especially funny because millie is straight 😭😭
Ngl finding out Millie was straight when I first got into WOSO was the biggest shock ever.
Lol same. She was the one player I was so sure was gay, literally couldn’t believe it when I found out she was one of the straights.
tbh i think that’s what most people thought
