Hemp didn’t take that loss well did she? Lots of lioness on lioness drama. I think usually at the end of the season when it’s getting tense, they have a Euros or World Cup or Olympics to worry about it so they stay gentle. This not having an international tournament has brought out some dirty work. Personally I’ve loved it
Lioness on Lioness drama? What’s Hemp got to do with that? Have I missed something lol??
i’m wondering myself too. what’s hemp not taking the loss well got to do with lionesses drama? i literally haven’t seen anything from her at all, and nothing to suggest any drama between any lionesses recently
DA - I think they are saying it because all the city girls were playing pretty dirty yesterday with their fouling. Hemp was probably the worst.
But that's not anything new. It was the same last season too.

Yer, she mentioned Lucy, someone on the live said she was Lucy Staniforths cousin, and she just flat out said ‘your not Lucy stan’s cousin!’ 🤣🤣
Annoyed I missed it, but if they spent half of it talking about Chelsea (men's at that) then maybe I should count my blessings.
The whole thing was kinda funny ngl. Plus she’s 😍 so I’m not gunner complain lol
I'm all in, love her and think her and Jordan must be great together. (I ship it even though we've never even seen them together). But we will need to make sure she supports a proper team. This is a stumbling block. Either that or we set her up with Cuthbert or something
Honestly I'm taking her Chelsea talk as just elaborate foreplay to agitate Jordan.
I am hope for a hard or soft lunch when they go on vacations

However you interpret this "long time friend" comment, the fact that that "friend" had Sofie suss out from Erin whether Erin even likes Taylor Swift, is very telling.

I can't believe she mentions Lucy Stan, have to hope some musical theatre fan recorded the live and uploads it since I missed it.

When Jordan scores a banger against City to give Chelsea the title next week, we know why.

The whole first half of the live was about Chelsea so it was in context. But she's gonna have to rehearse an answer to that question cause you cannot be dating Jordan Nobbs and uttering the words, Up the Chels. It's like blasphemous.

Anyway, the main takeaways were -

1. She's going to Swift with a long time friend. (so not Jordan as someone suggested previously)
2. She referred to Lucy Staniforth as Stan which makes me think they know of eachother (someone in the comments said they were Lucy Staniforth's cousin and she said you're not related to Lucy Stan). It was very laggy though so maybe mine just cut off the -iforth.

They discussed women's for a while too. Just her friend's favourite women's players so nothing exciting. It was Guro and LJ.

It blended in because they were all doing it, a lot of " Your not Alan Carr's sister", "Your not Alan Shearer's niece" etc so it didn't seem like much when she said it but just that she said "Stan", not Staniforth

Just general chatting. Most of the theatre girls do them

A lot of musical theatre actors do lives to connect with the fanbase. Often they do them in the dressing rooms pre-show or inbetween 2-day performances, sometimes they do them at home for general engagement with their followers.

So she said up the chels or Scotland?
It was a lot of word vomit to be honest. She said she doesn't usually answer that question, she doesn't want to offend anyone, she giggled, said she had a lot of teams, broke out in a stress sweat, said she had lots of teams again, said because she was with her friend (who had just spent a lot of time talking about how much he loved Chelsea) that she would have to say Chelsea incase he hit her, then said Up the Chels and ended by saying she of course loves her national team Scotland. She then muted the mike for a few minutes as her friend laughed at her.

ERIN! I have never in my life yelled at a girl like this. When my mother yells like this it's because she loves me. I was rooting for you, we were all rooting for you! How dare you! Girl squirmed for five minutes then hit me with the worst possible answer

Me neither. I'm equally annoyed about the other end of the table.
I really hope that Crystal Palace aren't going to be as rubbish next season as Bristol City have been this. That must have been a dream tie for Chelsea today.
thats the budget constraint promoted teams face in comparison to other teams unfortunately

Chelsea are smashing Bristol they are now catching up with city on goal difference. Wow this WSL title race really is going to wire.

The question is WHO is going to Win it?
Even 20 minutes ago I would have said City, but now I‘m not too sure about that any more.
If Chelsea ends up winning, City have no one to blame but themselves for that horrible bottlejob today :mask:
City deserve the WSL overall I believe I think they have been amazing all season, but I think the pressure and nerves got to them today hence the lose. I can't call it I do think Chelsea are still in it but may drop points to Tottenham or man united? Two big games to play still
Chelsea play Spurs just 2 days after the FA Cup final, they'll be dead on their feet. No chance they get anything from Chelsea.
It's all up to United, who just has the double done over on them by Liverpool and will be finishing FIFTH

it really was in their hands with everything in their favour. they let it slip. how do you concede 2 goals to arsenal when they’ve been playing so dead recently? when you were up for so long too? where was the fight to at least equalise again and get even a single point. if they’d got just the one point, and then won against villa, it would be their title. they only needed 4. now they’re back to hoping chelsea drop points, which is exactly where you don’t want to be in a title race. so so so dumb today, and all those players will know it too.
Tactics were all wrong. Once they got a goal they should’ve been pushing for a second. Instead they tried to frustrate arsenal by holding possession which works until it doesn’t

Why does Leah constantly do forward and backwards rolls? Like most players fall over obviously, but lots of the times when she does, her body almost keeps going
did gymnastics as a kid lol. no but fr, just her way of getting back up. a few players actually do it here and there.
Laughed at this but maybe this is really the reason, like she learned falling in a certain way or that.

Not a Man City fan and am actually annoyed with Man City
it really was in their hands with everything in their favour. they let it slip. how do you concede 2 goals to arsenal when they’ve been playing so dead recently? when you were up for so long too? where was the fight to at least equalise again and get even a single point. if they’d got just the one point, and then won against villa, it would be their title. they only needed 4. now they’re back to hoping chelsea drop points, which is exactly where you don’t want to be in a title race. so so so dumb today, and all those players will know it too.

Bottled under the pressure! Hayes saying the title wasn’t to be was a good mind game tactic 🙄

Wow, Chelsea - Bristol 8:0 so far!!! So they might take the first place then because of the amount of goals being on equal points with ManCity. :faint:
So who scored them? Do any of the English ladies know?
In order:

ngl I found this hot lol get it Chlo
Same, I’ve watched the videos too many times. The hand placements from Chloe and the way her legs are when she falls it’s a lot. It’s giving the Leah pictures from the England Brazil game
Sure all the twitter Leah stans are secretly loving it too
lol i’m a fan of leah’s and i found it funny. when i saw it happen during the game i burst out laughing because like… wtf. they’re good and really long term friends too, so kinda adds to it being funny.

the fact that it wasn’t called for a foul is a bit annoying icl, but is what it is.
