So, how common is it for players of rival teams to be watching a game in the stands?. I ask this as during one of the recent Spurs game. Coney-cross was in the stands (and other players most likely, that I couldn’t identify). I think on that occasion it was an Aussie thing. But in general, how common is it to see a current player watching. Does it indicate a player on the verge of being sold/going on loan or dating someone in the team?.
And while I’m on the Subject, what is the most famous person or player you have seen watching a WSL game live.?
It happens fairly often and usually just means a player has a friend on the team. Or could be watching their partner.
Kirsty Hanson was just at LSV watching the FA Cup game, Batlle used to go to games at the Academy Stadium fairly regularly to see Ouahabi/Aleixandri.
And then you've got Kerr at West Ham games watching Mewis.
I don't think there's been any sighting of a player at a game who then goes on to sign for the team. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, though, but I think it's much less likely than just going because you know someone on one of the teams.
