My club absolutely piss me off often and give me heart problems every match day, but god I would not give that up to support a La Liga team.

Arsenal, City and United beat Chelsea but not Barca. Team WSL >>>
If Barca played in the WSL or just a more competitive league, they wouldn’t have the great winning record and scoring records that they have. That’s not even to say they’re a bad team, because they’re obviously not and they’d still be near the top of the table in other leagues. But they wouldn’t be winning week in and week out. They could have a performance like that in La Liga and still win, because other teams just aren’t on the level to capitalise on their poor performances.
oh yeah, spot on.

& what everyone fails to acknowledge here as well is the impact that actually has. like chelsea play genuinely competitive games a lot more frequently than barca do, and so they’re tested a lot more. barca arent and therefore lose their heads far more than anyone else when they’re still down so late into the game, they just don’t have enough experience being properly tested and it’s only going to be detrimental to them as more and more european teams start to become more competitive and step up their level. competition is very necessary in being number 1.
Exactly. Barcelona looked devoid of a plan B because they never have to use one.
Yeah the lack of competition to them (there is competition below them in the league) is only a negative to them at the end of the day.

Plus a league does not look at all attractive when it’s so dominated by a single team, which is why you don’t see top players going to La Liga unless it is to Barca, or maybe Real Madrid on the rare occasion. So that doesn’t help in trying to make the league more competitive either.

There just needs to be a lot more investment and time put into those other teams because I can’t imagine they’re enjoying it, and Barca will be aware that the lack of competition isn’t helping them either. Also surely winning just gets boring at that point, when you’re not even really challenged?? Like what’s the hype behind another league trophy win when you win it so easily every year?
this. the best part of football as a fan is the competitiveness and knowing anything can happen on the day. and as a footballer nothing actually beats winning a properly competitive game, or having won a trophy that you truly did fight every game for. barca have played 1 less game than real madrid yet they’re still 9 points ahead of them, it just gets boring after a certain point.

oh fr. she was barca’s worst player today by a mile, and that’s saying something because salma was also on the pitch. just her decisions were all off. she should’ve been subbed off earlier.
I hope she wont come to Arsenal or Chelsea, because she's horrible, no wonder Barca want Pajor
As an Arsenal fan, I do think she’s still a good player but I still don’t want her. We do need to look for a LW but i’d much rather go for a younger one than waste time and money on her. She’s not at all what we need.

depends how the olympics goes, and on who actually wins the champions league in the end. hard to predict right now. i would say cgh but the olympics will have a big sway and she’s only even in for a shot if barca win the uwcl.

gotta be one of her worst games in a while, no? in terms of not really doing anything.
Nah she was also quite poor against City back in Feb.
I feel like she’s one of those players who either shows up and has a great performance or just completely ghosts. Like there’s not really an in-between there.
Yeah I think so. At least no fouls today lol, could not deal from that from Barca fans of all fans.

Elsewhere lol, Bristol City vs Liverpool ended 0-1 to Liverpool so Liverpool now currently sit in 4th. Granted though they have played an extra game over United who are just a point below them. They’ve been doing really well this season though, I reckon they’ll make some good signings in the summer and be better next season (or at least I hope).
good to see

Right. That’s why I don’t know why everyone gets all up in arms because is said she doesn’t look good here. Are people allowed to have opinions or only ones that are the same as yours?
It’s not about that. It’s about the fact people literally dissect players looks. Like say we don’t have enough pressure on us as women when it concerns our looks. I don’t know people think that’s okay.
Does Leah come here? She’s not going to see what I said let alone care about what I said. She doesn’t need the white knights in here defending her from an opinion she won’t even see.
lol. You’re just a shitty person then. It doesn’t matter if she won’t see it. The point is, you’re judging someone on their looks.
And you judge her looks as good looking. So again, it’s not about the judgment it’s the fact that I have a different judgement than you that you don’t like.
You’re toxic. You didn’t say she weren’t attractive which would have been fine. You said she looks old. Bro. Let’s see what you look like. I beg.
