Counter pressed recently talked about this. Gilly Flaherty was particularly concerned about how MLT has been playing and seemed pretty convinced that if she doesn't sort her shit out she is going to hurt someone pretty badly. From memory, they questioned whether it was related to her being in and out of the NT and trying to earn her spot back is causing some of this recklessness. da
yeah i get that point. kind of like her passion and need to prove herself are making her make that extra tackle and do that extra thing, but in reality it’s just making her more dangerous not more of a good player. i do agree she needs someone to talk to her about it, one of the more experienced and older players needs to step in here.

Da. I don’t follow United so this is just my outside take, and United fans can correct me if necessary. But to me Zelem just does not seem to be that type of leader and captain. Idk, like she’s a constant and consistent one for sure, always in the squads and isn’t exactly a horrible player. But I just don’t see her as some great influential leader who’s stepping in with moments like this and helping guide the younger players.
I would have to totally disagree with the idea that Zelem isn't a strong leader. It's clear from the way the players and manager talk about her. I think she's had to deal with a lot of nonsense behind the scenes and has had to be a strong character to bring concerns of the players to the manager and higher-ups.
These incidents have been against Daly and Ramirez, and someone mentioned Shaw, all of which are dominant, strong, CF's. Maybe she's being told to be more aggressive against those type of players (nothing wrong with being aggressive, just not dangerously so obviously) or maybe that's how she wants to play and to show them that she's 'there' as they say.
I just don't think it's as big a problem as some of you seem to think.
