Idk. I get what you’re saying but that it’s also massively dependent on the environment. If you’re in an environment where that’s not the standard, then you would see it as harder to take that because it’s just not the norm and would be completely different. When you move to a club with a different environment, that one slowly becomes the norm to you and managers calling out different types of things becomes the norm. It’s all very just relative to the current situation you’re in and what’s normal to you at that time.

I think they would adjust, also there is a language barrier and therefore you would have to fight on and off the pitch for your spot.
Also when every position has a top player u are constantly sparred
That’s not the case in the current set up for arsenal and it’s unclear what Jonas actually wants playing wise, cuz it’s not working they’re not getting better or at least not better to compete for the league, just the top 3 right now
I think you can really see Jonas’ lack of proper management is a problem when it comes to the smaller games. Like they’ll beat Chelsea in a final (even if it is Conti cup) or in the league or whatever, but then they’ll lose to Spurs for the first time? Lost to West Ham? The Paris FC knockout is another, but to give that team some credit they did also knockout Wolfsburg and had an alright run. But yeah, there’s just no guidance there and they lose their way against smaller teams. It’s stupid. Yes the players play their part for sure, but it does
stem from the manager here.
I mean next season Chelsea won’t have Emma hayes so Arsenal/jonas despite his lack of management have a better chance at winning bigger trophies next season
I really do think next season is make or break for him now. There’s no excuses of injuries or injury comebacks, Chelsea will be adjusting to a new manager and not as stable, we’ll have another shot at the Champions League, etc. If we don’t win the League and just do really well over all, i’d expect him to be sacked. I really do not care if he wins the Conti Cup again, and wouldn’t even care if he manages the FA Cup (ok, I would like to see that, but it’s not enough alone). Sick of going through season after season where people want him out then switch sides after he gets some cheap cup.
Spoiler alert, we finish 3rd. Like we do every year. No new manager, no new players, no amount of injuries ever changes it. I’ve been here a while. Barring 2019 where in all honesty we got lucky at the end of the season and Jordan was running riot at the start, we are a 3rd place team. Nothing will happen to Jonas. Cause he is no better or worse than any other manager. This is just who we are.
