Just checked in on Josie and she’s also posted about listening to country music this morning. Anything country-Ish going on today
Probs
That photo in Josie's story is at Grace's house, so Grace, Josie, and Leah are at a country concert right now.
I don’t think the picture Josie posted is Grace’s house, I’m sure Grace lives in a flat and that’s bottom floor. But the picture Grace posted isn’t at Grace’s house so I’m not sure

what’s everyone’s genuine thoughts on the chelsea v barca game? have chelsea realistically got any shot at all there? if so how would it have to play out?
Barca are absolutely the favourites and Chelsea have looked really poor lately
barca haven’t exactly been on top form recently either
Barca’s poor level is still far better than Chelsea at their poor level.

Carter to NWSL as well then?
probably. tbh i’ve kinda thought she was gonna leave chelsea after this season anyway. i doubt they’ll want to do long distance, but then i also think she’ll know moving to the nwsl will massively damage her england chances (it’s not really the same as bronze going there, bronze is a set starter regardless of anything until she physically can’t be).
Why not? It’s the same league lol, both English players.

P.S. Sorry if this has already been asked, trying to catch up but just skimming through.
There’s a bunch of key differences there

1. Bronze has already earned a starting spot for England, Carter hasn’t. Easier for Bronze to take ‘risks’ in terms of going to foreign leagues that aren’t followed much by English people.

2. There’s like no proper replacement for Bronze anyway so nothing could really impact her except like an injury, whereas there is a lot of depth for CB.

3. Carter doesn’t really have some dedicated following behind her. No offence but no one is really going to follow her career properly into the NWSL. At least with Bronze you know regardless of where she’s playing you’re hearing about her and her performances non stop from her fans.

I have a feeling Millie possibly has been ready for awhile
Why?
Just seems like something Hayes would do as a tactic. Keep it quiet with Millie and make her unavailable for games and such just to have her come out against Barcelona.
da. idk tho with england. couldn’t see millie not being back playing if it meant she could be back playing for england, particularly with rachel’s last game and the start of their euro qualifiers. makes sense in terms of its something emma would do, but then i don’t think its something millie would do.

Yet yesterday when people spent pages trying to work out if Leah went to the hairdresser that was normal? Now because I’ve wondered if she’s going to a concert with a rumoured girlfriend (what this site is made for discussing), it’s weird and obsessed. Catch yourself on

bronze is already established in the england team, she’s already got her spot. moving to a league that english people don’t really follow won’t really harm her. it’s different for carter who is trying to establish herself and earn that consistent starting spot, moving to a league where she won’t really be kept up with or watched will harm her chances, especially with the depth in the centre back position.
Exactly. And the last thing you want to do when you’re trying to prove yourself is to take yourself out of the equation. No offence but going to NWSL for Carter would do that, literally an out of sight out of mind type of thing. For players who have already established themselves, like Daly or Bronze, it’s a different matter, but for those trying to solidify their spot it’s possibly the worst thing they could do. Look at Ebony Salmon, she apparently was playing well in NWSL but no-one really knew lmao and she wasn’t getting picked for any England squads even if she was.
Spot on.

Brighton vs Everton finished 1-2. They're joint on
points now.
I'm happy for Everton, they've had an extremely difficult season and transfer window through little fault of their own. They're a great development team too, how many of the young rising stars have had loans spells there or come from their academy? I can think of Beever-Jones, Park, Clinton, and even Khul seems to be developing well.

She’d have to be stupid to do so right? Bright has been out for months now, and this isn’t some Reading game, it’s Barcelona in the Champions League ffs.
I think she’s proved recently that 1. she is pretty stupid, and 2. she doesn’t really care.

Yeah but she’s not exactly staying after this season is she? I doubt she cares about the longevity of these players, and she’s clearly been done with Chelsea and club football for a while now.

No way Barcelona need 20 shots on target to score 2 goals
40 shots on target it is then

Nah they’ve been quite close for years now. Always went on double dates or like group dates with all the couples. Obviously though they did get closer once Leah and Jordan had broken up, and Leah wasn’t with Jordan as much anymore, and then the same with Lia and Caitlin when Lia wasn’t spending time with Caitlin anymore. But it’s not a new friendship at all, they’ve always been quite sweet and close. Even since Lia joined they’ve been friendly.

An outsiders POV here.
I think Chelsea will be relying on luck a hell of a lot more here than Barca are, Barca are 100% going into this game as the clear favourite and I think they will have to be unlucky to lose. You don’t want to be relying on luck though.
It is played over two legs, which could massively play in Chelsea’s favour here, theyll be able to study this game and really tighten up on things before playing their home game.

Removing likes and a playlist sounds more like a split tbh.
I doubt they have spilt up. Most likely have caught up or kmow about this thread and have decided to delete and remove any evidence. They obviously want to keep their relationship really private and have so for the past 5 years.
I doubt that those soccer players would be interested in this board let alone this thread. Why would they be? They have busy lives and schedules and I assume that the precious time they have off they'll use for their famillies, relationships, friends or relaxing off the pitch. :soccer: :tennis: :basketball: :golf:
If there's unusual activity on their social media etc., wherever that has originated from, I can totally understand why they'd take a look at what they're sharing. Some people on here go way beyond idly curious and do seem to verge in to stalker territory.
The real problem might not be so much people posting things but has anyone else noticed the "Google" [Bot] and "Bing" [Bot]" listed as "users browsing this forum"? This might be the real issue relating to this search engine stuff. :bulb:
I think so
