That was her reply to a person in the post.
Why is she wearing it for a photoshoot though? This is strange behaviour even for her. And she’s a gay women that went to Qatar
Agree that this thing here is quite strange.
Don’t particularly agree on the second part though. Personally I’m not even really a fan of Alex’s, but I did prefer that she went out there and used her platform instead of just not going. She’d have been replaced and it would’ve amounted to nothing, maybe a headline or two and then she’d probably have cost herself the job. Better to actually go out and take a stand, instead of staying quiet.
What stand did she take? She was actually pretty quiet
She wore the armband? Yeah she didn’t exactly start riots, but that was still a stance in itself and it actually did blow up like I saw it everywhere for weeks, even after the WC was over. Even had a conversation with my dad about it who doesn’t even know who Alex Scott is, nor does he watch any football, but he’d heard about it in the news.
Again, yes, she wasn’t starting protests or riots and wasn’t matching around with banners or whatever else. But she did still take some stance, which is more than staying home and doing nothing while just letting someone take over her job.
Not sure whether the above post is satirical or not. Assuming it isn't for now.
So you're claiming that Scott A wearing an armband supposedly "did blow up" and that "you saw it everywhere for weeks, even after the WC was over" and that you "Even had a conversation with my dad about it who doesn’t even know who Alex Scott is, nor does he watch any football, but he’d heard about it in the news."
I wonder why neither I (who follow both woso and the news) nor the poster above would have any recollection of this.
Could it possibly be because you're chatting utter crap, the "news" of Scott A wearing an armband didn't blow up, nobody "saw it everywhere for weeks, even after the WC" or even during the WC, and that you never had that conversation with your dad?
