Did Leah Williamson's old hamstring injury flare up again? I thought she has had one in 2021 as well when Jordan Nobbs was recalled into the England squad.

One wonders if they get enough rest in between all those games in different contexts. A point that Wiegman had brought up ages ago already.

I wonder if all those headers are that good to perform esp for the ladies. Some men (mentioning them as there doesn't seem to be women old enough to compare- if yes, then please bring examples), i.e. former soccer players seem to have developed dementia from too many head balls. And in the past Leah had pointed out that Jordan was forgetting things after a minute or so in one of those videos together from Arsenal (those fun ones).
Leah’s hamstring issue that put her out so long last time was an overload issue. I think it was the same this time around, too many minutes too fast and not managed well coming in from an ACL. Was inevitable she’d have an overload issue from that, everyone pretty much saw it coming.

In terms of rest, I think it’s obvious the schedule isn’t planned the greatest. I don’t think there needs to be a change in the amount of games, I just think the schedule needs to be planned better.

And then with your headers, no lol I don’t think that’s the case. If they took headers every second of a game I think it would be more worrying, but the amount they take isn’t something I think is that concerning to be honest. And it’s definitely not why Jordan’s forgetful.

Either Grace is dating Leah or Leah likes mixing all her friends together which I find odd cuz you never see Grace mix her friends with Leah’s except josie, but here Grace is obviously has hung out with rosella and all of Leah’s other friends and family. Which would only make sense if they’re dating.
Or Rosella or gc found them at the event and had Someone to hang with. A familiar face. That’s how one usually moves at these events. Find someone u know so u don’t go alone/have someone to hang with.
I think Grace has been invited to this event. But I wonder why, because what does Grace have with puma. 😂 I can't believe Grace and Josie were Rosella's plus 1.
Grace has wokred with puma for years and gotten their pr packages. if there is one thing to say abput grace, her team works with these brands and fashion weeks etc waaaaaaaaay better than wsl players. constantly keeping her at these events etc.

that publicist deserves their bag - cant say the same about the agents repping wsl players
This surprises you lol? Artists have had publicists and pr teams for decadessss now. It’s a new thing to woso, particularly the WSL. Really not shocking at all that an artist, small or not, has better connections in the artistic world than female footballers.

Why are you lying lmao? It’s a Puma event so first of all she wouldn’t even be allowed to be there because of her Nike contract. And second of all she simply just was not there. You lot are insane.

Doesn’t look like her to me. I assume Rosella was there because she’s a Puma athlete.
yeah it's not leah. saw a more clear video and it actually looks more like charli grant.
Those stories make me cringe so much. As if Rihanna is an animal in the zoo and everyone around is photographing her. And then these people around her are also “famous”. Grace must be so happy that Rosella is in that photo.

bronze to psg? or bronze to nwsl?
depends what she wants, nwsl seems the better choice given her age. psg are apparently chucking money at her though so if she ends up going to the nwsl it won't be solely for salary.
I'd prefer to see her stay in Europe but I think people forget she has talked about NWSL before. It's not like some players where they get old and kind of have to go, she would actually want to go there. If she was desperate to stay in Europe, she could.
it also isn’t one of those things where her leaving europe would at all impact her international career. sarina will start her as long as she’s being called up, and she’ll be called up until she’s no longer fit enough.

Someone on the international thread said last the head she has offers from PSG, 3 NWSL teams and Wolfsburg. Personally I think (granted this is true) she should just go to the NWSL already, but I could see her maybe wanting to stick it out in Europe for as long as she can. Maybe until the Euros at least.

DA but I agree with it. She sounds like a right idiot. Swear it’s like she just has looked for a number of agendas to hang on recently.
She kind of irritates me sometimes i’m ngl. Maybe it’s wrong of me to think, but I just look at it and how she has the platform she does as a woman, and a black woman at that, and yet she is always surrounded in controversy and always putting her foot in her mouth, either with genuinely bad takes on football and analysis (which doesn’t represent any of us women following the game well) or with her constant run with agendas and whatever else. It’s unintentional i’m sure, but she’s contributing towards the anti-women agenda some men have and actually making it harder for us to exist in this space. And yeah it’s wrong maybe to even put that on her, you wouldn’t do so on a man, but then at the same time we’re not men, and this is what we’ve got.

Okay. I’m not going to lie, I have felt unsafe in many places because of men. The football stadium has fortunately not been one of them. Maybe that’s been her experience but it’s pretty dangerous to speak for all women. Now, if there is research out that corroborates her pov, then of course that is something you’d have to take into consideration. All the abuse she is getting though is crazy. I have to highlight my perspective is from a mixed race white and south Asian bisexual woman. I wouldn’t know what it’s like to experience the world as a black woman.

What were they saying on TalkSport?
from what i understand, she’s made some comments about how football and football stadiums aren’t safe for girls and women because of misogyny. a bunch of women callers were on talk sport to discuss it, and they were basically tearing her to shreds over it and adamantly disagreeing with everything shes said, saying they’ve been to stadiums with no problem and such.
Ahh okay. I hadn’t actually heard about this yet. It’s not what we were discussing on here, we were talking about the transphobic tweet she’s liked and reposted. Crazy that she’s literally always got some controversy surrounding her I swear, now she’s got 2 apparently.

Would be dramatic lol but then idk if Chelsea would drop points in that situation, they’d be very much spurred on by the title
Chelsea haven’t been “spurred on” much all season. Could’ve said they would be in the Conti Cup final, or the FA Cup semi-final, but they weren’t. Just doesn’t seem to be there like it has been in recent years.

imo city has an easier WSL schedule plus more rest time. they should be able to close the goal differential goal gap if both win out, but I think chelsea is more likely to drop points. that said it’s football and you never know.
