ok fangirl whatever. i was just giving you some facts about what the current wa wedding climate is like but you obviously don't want to hear anything that might ruin your own fanfiction you've clearly put a lot of thought into with all your insta follow stalking and whatnot. all the people i know have had long wait times but if sam can buy her way up a waiting list cause she's queen of freo then good for her. and good for you as well since this is obviously super personal to you too!
So sensitive today. I actually read everything you said and offered a rebuttal. That’s how a lot of conversations/debates go. I have nothing invested in their personal relationship or wedding and don’t know shit about what’s going on privately. This is a gossip board, no need to get yourself worked up about frivolous things.
could've fooled me darl
I feel like that would be easy to do seeing as nothing I’ve said would indicate that I have personal stake in their wedding.
the investment in stalking their follows for wedding hints, keeping track of when their friends/family have free time, ring analysing, and extreme fangirling over kerr being royalty as if all of freo is getting an invite indicated it actually. like i said above sorry for saying anything that ruined the flow of your parasocial fanfiction writing. i'll just shut up from now on to avoid setting you off again since you don't want to accept anything other than what you've already hyped yourself up for (while accusing me of not being able to accept other possibilities lol) 👍🏽
I like how you made up that I was stalking their followings and keeping track of their friends dates. Not like I couldn’t have found out about them through the various other message boards I scroll through or the podcasts I’ve listened to where they specifically said these things. Who’s ring analyzing or fangirling? I haven’t been nor have I stated anything I’ve offered up as fact. You’ve run out of anything intelligent to add so you’ve started with making stuff up. Cool. Have fun with that.

My only hope for their wedding is that they are able to have it without too much paparazzi whenever it is. Being that they had someone follow them when they were in Perth for Christmas I’m not too hopeful.

Ooh are you an Ellie and DVD that doesn’t want other couples to get married first?
LOL what? No fans of Ellie and DVD think they’ll be getting married first lmfao wtf is this? Why are you bringing them into this? Unnecessary, again. Same as the person yesterday who brought Ellie into a conversation for no reason other than to start shit. Are they getting married? Sure are. Is it before Sam or Steph? Probs not. And *definitely* not before EVE who is getting married this year. Stop causing fights where there do not need to be any. Sam can very easily move her way up any waitlist. Especially if they’re getting married in Aus. If she told vendors she wanted to get married next week they’d do what they could to make it happen. That’s a fact

There is a weird, recent obsession among some anons here with a dying need to be right about the exact timing of certain life events in the girls' lives. The endless speculation about who is due to get engaged soon, when so-and-so's wedding will be, who will attend this wedding or that wedding, where are so-and-so going on holiday and when. It's not even gossip, it's such empty, repetitive chat. It also encourages people to be increasingly invasive in a quest to break "news" by meticulously stalking their following lists. Like...just learn to sit back and let things play out? Some of you seem legit stressed about these things and get too worked up.

A sample size of a few people is hardly enough to determine that a two year engagement is realistic. Sam and Kristie have the financial resources to make things happen as well as the notoriety if the event is indeed happening in Sam’s hometown where she’s basically royalty.

Another anecdotal story. I’ve had two different friends plan(or Planning) decent sized weddings(over 200 people) in 6 months during peak season where I’m from.
well we'll just have to see whose anecdote is closer then 👍🏽

all i did was offer some examples about the crazy wedding wait times here in wa and got jumped by some hardcore fans way too personally invested in when some strangers wedding is. i'll know for the future to not say anything that might upset the kerrmew parasocials.
Why can’t you accept that there could be other possibilities
i literally said if sam can buy her way up a waitlist then good for her. you're the one still having a go mate. no need to be so sensitive 🙂

wedding venue and vendor times are insane especially since covid when lockdowns postponed so many weddings by a couple of years. i know a few engaged people who have had to set dates much later than they would've wanted. it's wishful thinking by some fans thinking they will be able to make it happen within their schedule while battling the many others already on the waitlists. unless they do something extremely lowkey and basic at least 2 years post engagement is more realistic

An end of season wedding wouldn’t give them a lot of time to line up vendors and venues because it would be less than a year from the engagement (unless they were already working on it) but it is off-season in Perth. I think no matter when they have their wedding they will have friends who can’t make it, but a wedding in that period would make it hard for NWSL players and maybe too much pre-Olympic stress. I’ll put in a vote for post-Christmas through early Jan. They can’t fit everything around their friends but Kristie’s sister is a bridesmaid for Lynn Williams’s wedding in mid December and she’ll almost certainly be Kristie’s bridesmaid as well so they’ll have to work around that.

More than likely they already have a date set. The hearing is 4/26, and if it gets that far, the trial is next February. Both of those times are in-season…they wouldn’t have scheduled a wedding then anyways. They aren’t going to delay their wedding or stop their lives completely during the legal issues. My guess is they’re either fitting it in in between the end of the season and Olympics or during the December break.

DA I doubt they'll have anything planned for the timeframe when they might have Sam's legal woes hanging over them which could be next year if appeals to get it dropped this year are unsuccessful. I really hope the legal case goes Sam's way because she could be denied a visa to the USA if found guilty. That would be a real pain for a couple with one half being from the USA.

Steph is getting married next summer in Greece, so her engagement will have been juuuuust over two years. The full service wedding planner Ellie and Daan follow has openings for 2025 still, which is when I think their wedding will be. If so, they’ll have been engaged a year and a half when they get married. It is not out of the realm of possibility at all that Kristie and Sam get married this December. In fact, it seems very likely. The wedding industry caught up quick post COVID

They’re not going to get married while many of their close friends and teammates are busy with the Olympics. No chance at all. Kristie’s sister will be busy with Olympic coverage too.
They can’t fit everything around their friends but Kristie’s sister is a bridesmaid for Lynn Williams’s wedding in mid December and she’ll almost certainly be Kristie’s bridesmaid as well so they’ll have to work around that.
wedding venue and vendor times are insane especially since covid when lockdowns postponed so many weddings by a couple of years. i know a few engaged people who have had to set dates much later than they would've wanted. it's wishful thinking by some fans thinking they will be able to make it happen within their schedule while battling the many others already on the waitlists. unless they do something extremely lowkey and basic at least 2 years post engagement is more realistic
A sample size of a few people is hardly enough to determine that a two year engagement is realistic. Sam and Kristie have the financial resources to make things happen as well as the notoriety if the event is indeed happening in Sam’s hometown where she’s basically royalty.

I just love her. Her and Sam seem like a perfect pairing. Curious as to what their plans are at the end of the season. Are they heading to the US or Perth? Trip to Paris for the Olympics? A wedding perhaps? Or a combination of all of the above?

Kristie had been following a full-service wedding planner a month and half before they officially announced the engagement, the planner followed both S and K back at the same time. I feel like it’s safe to say the planning has been going on for a while. Now the actual wedding, I don’t know. Lynn’s wedding is 12/8, her BFF’s is 12/31. I doubt they’re taking much account into everyone else’s schedules. There’s such a small timeframe for them as athletes to get done what they want to get done, they just have to do it whether everyone one will be there or not.

They almost certainly would have set a date before Sam got hurt, and based that date on the assumption she would be playing all year. And venues can be booked up a year or more in advance anyway. Sam will also have to be able to rehab wherever she goes, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they do take the chance to spend some time in Boston or Perth with family.

I know the Daily Fail has speculated Sam’s new ring might be a wedding band but I definitely think it’s an engagement ring, whether she always intended to have one or Kristie proposed as well. They wouldn’t get married without at least their families and I can’t picture when they would have managed that.
It didn’t cross my mind at all that Sam’s ring was anything other than an engagement ring. It def is not a wedding band!

Okay Ellie 💍👀

But in all seriousness this is very cute. Ellie and Sam always have such high praise for one another, nice to see that continue. Love that Daan chose Steph, too. Some newer fans wouldn’t even realize they had been teammates for a while. Fun crossover!

It will probably be before the Olympics as Katie will be in pre season after the Olympics, especially as they will have CL qualification early in the season
I was thinking about this - they could be going to the resort post WSL season and pre olympics camp for their 1 year anniversary? Wasn’t that like beginning of June when they did the official Ibiza “launch” which ended up not really being a launch lol.
You know what, this didn't even occur to me. I definitely think if they are going on a holiday it will be post China games, pre Olympics camp and I think that time does fall into their anniversary but it will also just be some time for them before they're separated for a somewhat long time while Cait is in Olympics camp.
This timing would definitely make the most sense if it is their anniversary and also pre camp but could also see a short getaway on fa cup final weeekend like an anon mentioned yesterday.
yes, good point. there has been some discussion on the arsenal training schedule but i do wonder how much time off they can/will get if they have two weeks between games since they don't have mid week games like they did before. think they can squeeze in a quick getaway during that time.
Wouldn't be surprised if they did given they managed to squeeze in the trip to dublin after the villa match and in theory this should be longer off.

I have always loved how in that first trophy picture Ellie’s eyes are closed and she’s kissing the trophy so she doesn’t notice in the moment, but Danielle is looking at her, not the trophy. And with so much care. It’s so cute
Adorable. Daniëlle is so far gone haha. I can’t wait for the summer!
She has looked at her like that since day one, still does. Ellie looks at her that way too. They are very underrated as a pair, in part because they don’t share a ton, but when they do share it’s always really cute. I mean, Ellie’s birthday post for Danielle last year was 🔥
Yeah, this wasn’t even posted in here at the time it happened because of the WC going on. It’s a lovely photo and certainly rare having come from Ellie! We’ll see what her birthday post this year from Daan is in a couple weeks. I’m sure it’ll be very sweet
Ideally they get to celebrate her birthday + qualifying for the UWCL final on the same day! They play the second leg against PSG on her birthday. The birthday post from Daan is pretty much guaranteed to be cute af and hopefully it can be followed up with a “going to the final” post!

Page catching and gosh that resort is stunning!!! I thought the one Cait (and Steph) went to in Santorini was beautiful, but this one in Crete is NEXT LEVEL. Hazard a guess to say Cait and Katie may stay there before Olympic camp, a nice little romantic getaway before they're pretty much apart for 4-6 weeks (not sure how much time athletes spend with they're families when they're actually in tournament mode). And then do Ibiza post-Olympics with Jamie, Renae and maybe one or two of Katie's sisters?

Daan moved to Lyon in June 2021 and they were first spotted out together on Valentine’s Day in 2022. They had been flirty in Instagram comments since November 2021 though so I’d bet they first got together around then. Their UWCL win posts in May 2022 were their “launch” or whatever it’s called now and pictures from the team trip that followed further confirmed. For anyone *still* not sure by that point, Ellie appeared in Danielle’s Euros documentary as her ‘partner and teammate.’

They just celebrated their 5 year anniversary! They refer to each other as wife all the time so they’re pretty much already there honestly
Next in line to get engaged
Yep I think so! Either those two or Raso/Izzy are my guesses
Yeah there’s been a lot of talk about Mac being the next to get engaged but I don’t think that’s happening soon, they’ve been together less than 1.5 years so far. Much more likely to be Raso or cortnee next.
Every couple is different. Sam and Kristie never properly lived together before getting engaged. Were they even in the same country for more than two months in the years they dated? And yet here we are. Mac and Kirsty have literally been on the same team this whole time, so it’s not too soon to get engaged.
Da. I don’t think a year and a half, where they’ve lived together for majority of that time, are on the same team so clearly know how to be around each other a lot, have been through the wildest time of Mac’s life and career, would be too early to get engaged at all. At their age, having lived together for a year etc it’s actually a pretty normal amount of time to get engaged. If you imagine how much time they’ve spent together in their year and a half, it’s probably more than what most couples spend together in 3 years.
I do however think that the other two mentioned couples are maybe more likely. But I’d love to see macca down on one knee this summer!

Okay so what is the deal with Cortnee and Charlotte? They are absolutely adorable and I'm so surprised they're not engaged/married by now?!

Yep that’s right. I’ll put the posts in spoiler tags so it’s not a wall of Instagram stuff.
UWCL posts:
The trip post that made people who weren’t sure, sure (middle pic):
And the rest is history!
I mean, Ellie’s birthday post for Danielle last year was 🔥
Oh MY that photo is gorgeous. Wow wow wow

Still can’t believe Ellie is the one who shared that photo.
She’s also the one who proposed first as far as we know. So the whole “Daan is more into Ellie” narrative some like to use is dead on its feet. They’re just private. Daan shares a bit more, but for the most part their relationship is not for public consumption and I respect them for doing what works for them and protecting their peace
They stopped sharing stuff because they were absolutely slammed by haters who believed they cheated to get together. I think Daan was burned by the Beth Mead break up with her fans so wanted to avoid that in her next relationship.
What that subsection of Arsenal fans (not all Arsenal fans to be clear, a section of them) did to them was horrifying. The daily creation of Twitter accounts to threaten and insult them, the endless Instagram comments, all of that. Daan had to address it in an interview and the pain on her face was just so sad
