Idgi, what's Kyra's children's music? 😆

Well they’ve certainly come a long way since their battles during the WC! Kyra is so shy and cute. And she definitely has a few “big sisters” in the Arsenal team.

Would love to know how I wished ill on her mum by basically saying life is too short so make the most of it while you can???
No normal person brings up the mortality of a player's parent out of nowhere. No normal person's brain goes there. It's a low thing to bring into your trolling, even for you. You're a disgusting person who deserves every bad thing you hope happens to the total strangers you abuse every day on this board.
Your rants are not making any sense. I explained it meant life is too short I didn't say anything about the mortality rate of her mum. That saying means everyone in general. Something is wrong with you the way you have twisted my words and then wished bad things on me.
Da. Don't waste your breath I think you might be arguing with a teenager who doesn't understand quotes and is probably not even Australian. I don't see anything wrong in your post
you don't see anything wrong with some know nothing troll putting down caitlin's mum, implying she only cares about material things, and saying should go see caitlin play in london before she's no longer with us?! no one has said anything like this regarding the family members of any other aussies who haven't seen their kids play in europe much or at all. trying to speak darkness into existence is horrible behavior even from you people. this troll also 1st implied it was caitlin's fault for not flying her out and when that didn't work switched to this gross "quote" as you call it. none if us know why she hasn't gone to london and it's not our place to even discuss it. learn what boundaries are. you caitlin trolls just keep going lower and lower
No I don't I agree, they shouldn't have said she should travel because we don't know why she doesn't. The comment is the same as us saying life is to short live your best life but you are pinpointing her mum when nothing was said about how long she has left to live. It's a quote and nothing wrong with it.

The typical i didn't really like her once they broke up you will do the same soon as Katie/Caitlin break up lol.
You bitched and begged for a Caitlin and Katie thread for months saying there was too much talk about them here, and now that there is one you're the one bringing them up? Are you brain damaged? You should have asked for what you really wanted - a thread to whine and troll about Caitlin and Katie and those who you perceive to be their fans (you don't even know if OP likes them or not.
It's true tho soon as they break up with their partners the I didn't like them begins when before it would have been stanning their relationship not just with the Aussie every woso couple.

You're a sick fuck for saying this. I hope for your mum's sake karma isn't real when you're going around putting things like this into the world. Basically wishing ill on another person's mum is demented behaviour. I knew there was something wrong with you but fuck me you've gone above and beyond in the d!ckhead department.

There are a plethora of reasons why her mum may not be able to travel to the UK. Namely she has always appeared to be the main carer of her aging mum/Cait's nan. For Caitlin's first 2 seasons she couldn't have gone due to Covid anyway. She has travelled before to tournaments in France and Brazil so there is probably a good reason she hasn't gone to London and no input about it is needed from an arsehole like you.

Don’t even engage this troll. It’s so clear they’re the same person who threw a fit about Ellie/Daan and Caitlin/Katie needing their own threads. They got what they wanted - those threads now exist. Yet they’re still here because they were always still going to be here trolling about players regardless of the couple threads. There is absolutely no weight whatsoever to “x player has money and should fly their parents/relatives over to watch them play.” It’s not that simple. Their parents have their own lives and commitments and generally can’t head off to another country at a moments notice. Ellie’s dad had never visited her in Lyon, where she has lived for FOUR years, before the big trip where she got engaged. And even that he made into a long visit so all of the travel and likely time off work to be worth it. Lyon, London, Maldives. It’ll be the same for Caitlin’s mom - she has her own life and commitments and dropping everything to head to London just isn’t realistic. Not when Caitlin will be home for the Melbourne Arsenal game AND her family will likely go to the Olympics.

I was one of those thinking Izzy and Ras would be the next couple to get engaged so now I’m thinking we definitely SHOULD NOT say cortnee or Mac will be engaged soon….😳
Da I actually am surprised that Izzy and Raso lasted as long as they did after Hayley moved to RM. pretty obvious they want different things out of life, don’t see Raso wanting to settle permanently in rural England where Izzy lives now and Izzy seems very settled.

Macca I could see getting engaged soon.
Depends what happens this summer I think with Mac. If she stays at West Ham with Kirsty I think she’s definitely engaged by the end of 2024, but if she leaves and they have to navigate long distance then I can see it ending like Raso and Izzy. Long distance, especially given the scheduling, is so hard to make time for each other and I think it takes a lot to make it work. Macca obviously did long distance before so not sure whether she’d be up for doing it again.
Disagree. Years ago I would’ve never said Sam is someone who can do LDR. Her 5+ year relationship literally went to shit over COVID time. Then suddenly she’s dating someone an ocean away again, and they make it work for years. Macca and Kirsty would already have a strong foundation. Macca seems more mature now too. If Macca leaves WH but stays in the WSL, it’ll really not be that far a distance.
I completely agree. It’s not accurate to say that someone couldn’t do long distance just because it didn’t work before etc if it’s the right person then you’d make anything work! Would love to see a happy ending for Macca, and Kirsty seems very sweet and they clearly adore each other. I hope Mac can continue pushing on in her career and also be happy off the field, as we saw her put her career on hold for a relationship before. I hope whatever decision she makes regarding clubs this summer is based on her preference and not because of her relationship, as I could see Kirsty being incredibly supportive of Mac moving elsewhere if that’s what’s best for her.

But every relationship has compromise and challenges, that’s just life. I wouldn’t write off Mac and Kirsty in the (extremely unlikely) event Mac moves teams. She did do long distance before, but she was younger then and less mature/sure of herself than she is now. I would also argue that relationship, from outside appearances anyway, wasn’t as healthy as the one she’s in now. Sam and Kristie did long distance for years and obviously made it through. Ellie and Daan will soon have to navigate what it’ll be like with one retired while the other is still playing. Seasons of life ebb and flow and a big part of healthy love is navigating those things together. Sometimes it just doesn’t work though and I think that’s all it is with Izzy and Hayley. They just wanted different things in the end and the compromise was just too much on either side

Who was she negative towards?
I’ve actually heard her talk up a lot of them. She was praising Gorry recently. Always talking up the Arsenal trio, Mary. If she has been critical, it’s probably been deserved?
That's what I thought. Whenever I've heard her on comms she's always praising our squad. Never really heard much negative, unless this anon can provide actual examples I'm going with a troll.
Izzy is professional, critiquing players is literally her job as a sports commentator, I always thought she was very kind towards our girls. And seeing some of the tillies comment on her posts, I’d say they have a good relationship with her.

I just know she doesn’t rate Sam at all
Ok clearly you are misinformed or trying to troll because she definitely does rate Sam and during the World Cup talked very highly of her contributions to both the Tillies and Chelsea and what a bummer her injury was.
Well, she does rate Sam. I can’t remember where it is but she picked her ultimate 5-a-side and Sam was up top. And on FA Player, there is also another interview with her and she picked Kerrby in another one of these types of things.

Obviously she was going to rate Sam during the WC in Australia where Sam was beloved and hyped up by everyone. It would be suicide to go against the grain. But in club matches before she’d never said anything very positive.

kinda glad raso and izzy are done. izzy was annoying me always dogging on aussie players when she does comms. like unnecessarily harsh on them compared to english players. just something i noticed and picked up on the last couple of years cause it could be a bit awkward dating someone when they're out here professionally shitting on your mates all the time
Who was she negative towards?
I’ve actually heard her talk up a lot of them. She was praising Gorry recently. Always talking up the Arsenal trio, Mary. If she has been critical, it’s probably been deserved?
I just know she doesn’t rate Sam at all
Ok clearly you are misinformed or trying to troll because she definitely does rate Sam and during the World Cup talked very highly of her contributions to both the Tillies and Chelsea and what a bummer her injury was.

Nice to see Sam in good spirits. I’m curious if she’ll ever talk about this year in terms of the injury and legal issues. She seems like someone who just wants to move on quick from bad shit and focus on the present though. I guess we’ll know this week if her trial is still next year.

You can tell that Teyah spends far too much time with Caitlin 🤣
One of my friends messaged me and was like "who's the one getting them all right" 😂. Not all of them saying avo for arvo too hahahah.

Love that they've released this just as the All-Stars have started releasing their line-up. Hopefully we get a lot more promo in the next 31 days (and 1 hour 30 mins 😂).
Lmfao, this was hilarious. Could not stop laughing at some of the funny guesses and the way Pelova was so bad at guessing even though Caitlin was giving her so many clues. We need more content like this before they come over!
Pelova absolutely killed me, she was just not getting it lol my best friend does the same thing when she’s put on the spot too no matter how many hints I give her. Sabs was cute too lol she was trying

You would think with the money she earns she would have at least once flew her family out to watch her play.
What? That doesn’t make sense. International travel absolutely sucks, some people hate it. It’s so draining and you have to go for a long enough time to make it worth the trip generally. Ellie makes a ton of money too and her dad only went to see her play for the first time this past December, doing a 2 for 1 deal and going on her engagement trip too. He likely won’t be back to Lyon with any sort of regularity either

She bought her mum a house lol, plus some people don't enjoy international travel.

Kinda sad if Raso and Izzy have broken up. The unfollows are convincing:(
Tbh I was never that attached to them as a couple because they were so private, especially in the last few years! And if you follow them both, you could see how they kinda ended up going in different directions which is very sad, but I’m glad neither one is necessarily “following” the other one in spite of their own careers if that makes sense? Distance sucks and they gave it a good crack. I would have thought they’d be closing the distance with Ras moving potentially back to England, but I guess not.
It’s always sad when a long term relationship ends and I feel for them if the distance was the cause, but ultimately if they can’t manage with a years distance then maybe there were other issues going on as well. Hope Ras is doing ok. Glad she’s got teammates around her looking after her!

Ugh, pay wall. Can someone please share a quick summary of what was said in the article? Thanks in advance!
Basically just how great this match will be for the A league and hopefully it will help build the sport here and bring more people to games etc. It touched on the differences between the leagues (WSL being more professional, players don’t have to have second jobs and are paid pretty well etc.) and Caitlin mentioned a few of the Aus players who have had a great season and that she is looking forward to playing against them. Also touched on her playing history in Australia and then abroad and that her family will finally get to see her in the Arsenal kit which is a big achievement for her.
Aww, that's so sweet. I love that she has kept up to date and been keeping an eye on the A league and how some of the players are doing. Love that her fam can finally see her play in the red and white too. Thank you!

Awww fordy. I have always noticed after games most of the girls during the walk around go and see their family in the stands or in the corporate box and she doesn’t have anyone! Ofc that applies for all of our Aussies/Internationals playing overseas, just glad Caitlin will have the opportunity for her fam to watch her. Same with Steph and Kyra.
They all said during the World Cup how special it was to have their families in the stands and have them watching such a major tournament on home soil. Can only imagine how excited they all are to have their families watch them play for club, and as Cait said, it's the first time any of her fam are getting the opportunity to see her play in the 4 years she's been at Arsenal.
