Will be keeping an eye on this and whether Izzy likes it.
Izzy actually posted a new TikTok yesterday and hasn’t changed her profile pic from the photo of her and Hayley. Neither have unfollowed or deleted any pics. Who knows, maybe it was a fight or something.

I also noticed Izzy still follows RM and the Matildas on Twitter and she seems to use that a lot.
Ok ngl I don't follow Izzy so I don't know when she signed up for the marathon but is it possible Ras planned for the Malaga trip with Izzy and then Iz had to pull out of the trip because she signed up for the marathon? In which case Teags filled in, hence the "benefits" comment?
DA It was months ago she would've known she was running it and her fundraiser started a few months ago. It also doesn't explain Izzy unfollowing the Matildas and RM IG accounts, or no interactions since someone worked out the date Izzy unfollowed those accounts through one of those follower tracking websites. Izzy consistently liked Hayley's IG posts up until and including her April 3rd post. That makes it 5 posts in a row on Hayley's grid she hasn't liked which you can check and see for yourself is out of the norm for them.

Oh I've got a foordy arsenal jersey too and will def be getting a 9 on the back of the tillies one when I get the chance.
I too just got a foord Matilda’s jersey! Thinking of the olympics and manifesting some foordy magic that way.
I could’ve sworn football Australia had jerseys they must have sold out, now I don’t know where to get one. I’m on Ebay trying to buy one now but have no idea where to get it customised, is Ultra like a store?
Yeah it's a store in Melb/Syd. https://www.ultrafootball.com/

Where are you located? I paid $50 to get mine customized, but it's cheaper if you get the jersey from them directly.
I’m in Sydney. I looked up locations for Ultra and theres a store in Alexandria which is SOOOO annoying because I hate and never go to Alexandria but I’ve been there twice in the last 2 weeks and probably won’t go back unless I have to. Might just get a sharpie and write Foordy on the back😂
Might be worth emailing them, you might be able to ship it to them to do it and they'll send it back.

Love her but this is soooooo random lol I have a feeling it will do well at the start then people will loose interest. Would’ve been probably smarter of her to just do a collection or collab with a brand instead of making her own yet. The only Matildas players I think people would love to see make a brand at this current moment would be Mackenzie and Sam

This is a bit weird to me. I am all for it - get your bag girl! But what is it build on the back of? She hasn’t really done anything career wise to warrant a successful brand. I hope that doesn’t sound too harsh, I am struggling to say what I mean lol our biggest/most popular players don’t even have brands yet outside of Sam I don’t think? If any of them (Mac, Ellie, Caitlin, Steph, probably also Mini) I’ve missed it. That said, Arsenal fans can probably carry it pretty far initially.
Sam has an academy but she doesn’t have merch in her name as far as I’m aware? Anyway this isn’t super uncommon. Millie Bright and Daly started clothing merch years ago when they were hardly known yet. It’s just kind of a side hustle and a way to brand yourself. The font is a bit amateur though.

Opposite of humble lmao. Weird choice IMO - she's a bench player at the moment but she's making merch?

Was nice to see macca head to the young keeper at the full time whistle and console her alongside a Villa staff member after an error in last minute to gift West Ham the equaliser. She’s always been a good human but her leadership has definitely grown in having the armband this year.

Where do you think Arsenal will stay in Melbourne?
Somewhere fancy I'd hope. Hilton or Rydges likely. They'll want to be close to both stadiums so it will be that side of the river for sure and defs inner CBD. And yes will need to have good security.
Given the amount of security, it will have to be a 5 star hotel.
Probably the same hotel the Matildas stay in when they're in town.

Their mentality as a team is something else too. It’s like they get this far and just turn into giants. Did you see on the second goal Ellie dropped to the ground when she realized it went in? The emotions of that moment must have been huge. She gets to play in another final!! And this time with a stronger knee. Very happy for her

Nope - we do not even need to discuss this. Invasive and unnecessary
Why? It's not like they won't have extensive security? I'm curious if they'll put them up in an expensive hotel given the tickets cost so much, or if they'll go somewhere kinda shit because they're not familiar with the area.

Oh yeah if you buy it on football Australia it lets you get a players name printed on the back, but I’m sure you can go on etsy or ebay to get the thing to print on the back
It doesn't look like they're available on football Australia? I don't doubt they will give you the option to get a name and number printed on the back though. Just that they haven't been available for a while. I'd love to get my hands on an away jersey.

Really great moment in the 76th minute of the UWCL semi where Chawinga takes off after the loose ball and does a double take when she realizes Ellie has kept pace and been right next to her the entire time stride for stride. Had no trouble at all keeping up. I don’t think Chawinga is very used to that!

Mary coming into form like this ahead of the Olympics is very, very good for us. So is the fact that for the most part of 180 minutes across two games, Ellie had the fastest player in the UWCL in her pocket. And so is the fact that Vine has looked really decent since March or so. Good stuff!
I was thinking about this too. It’s unfortunate what happened to Bunny Shaw but the silver lining for the Tillies is Mary getting more minutes, goals, and boost her confidence. Obviously this was “just” against the relegated team but still, great to see! I think Mary will be a regular starter for club in no time.

For sure! She is in such great form 🔥
The fact we don’t ever see her play as a 9 (as she is sort of doing for city in second half) is a crime from Tony honestly, especially with the Kerr injury
It does annoy me but it’s too late to train her into the position for the Olympics. We’d miss her belters outside the box too, our 9s are more about tap ins

She was having a bit of a stinker tbh. Not great when she's trying to get back her starting spot from Casparij.
Starting position is gone imo. Even next season city are going to add to the defence sending her further down the pecking order. She'll end up looking for a move at Christmas.
With her Aussie starting spot not under threat, and with city in champions league there will be more rotation so she will still play a fair bit so can’t see her itching to leave. Also seems like she likes the team and is happy there and I’m not sure she’d be pushing to leave as any other club is a step down and she doesn’t seem like someone wanting to do that…
