Karakurt is such a mess. He literally drags us all Les down. Imagine playing with her then all of a sudden snaps right back.

Now Kim yeon koung commented on NATi's ig post. All her issues are now being brought back to life some even bringing up she's a homo

But if you'll look back, kyk received worst criticism Olympic days. But looking at her, is kyk really bi? Or pure Les.

She's being linked to this Kim dasol. The psycho ex is back in Seoul as well.

Also I have to add. I'm forever devastated that the likelihood of these Russians retiring without another NT match, Goncharova, Koroleva, Startseva... I miss the wonderful rivalry between the Russians and Brazilians and the superstitions before each match haha

Maybe a shadow of their former selves but that team was still present on the global stage and deserved better. Ef war.

Karakurt unfortunately drags the community. Tragic when we have ones like gabi.
She even drags down the Turkish NT who I love but she alone encapsulates everything that I dont want to see in volleyball or as a person.

i know that there are a lot of lesbian purists here on the l chat, but in the real world is very common for lesbians and gay man to get in heterosexual relationships when they are younger because they think it's what they are supposed to do. it doesn't necessarily mean that gabi is not a lesbian.

Gonna disclose something here. What happened with the Serbian player was awful but Rio de Janeiro is not the most dangerous city in Brazil. The neihbourhood what that shit happens is one of the safest here in town. But unfortunately happend a bad thing with her which was horrible. Hope she can be

I heard the rules in Korea are very old fashioned. Young players are tied to their clubs for a very long time. They become lazy because the clubs won’t let them go anyway. Kim also had problems with her Korean club and Fener had to negotiate with them every year.

I think it is her retirement ceremony from national team, so she ask her old nt player that play in london and rio to play in this retirement ceremony.

Don't think there's anything between her and her teammates now, it just some compilation video from fans I think. Though I believe there was something with nootsara and all the messiness with the psycho korean setter.

She want to retire in her country maybe? So she won't play abroad again. Most player usually do it like that, had an early career in their country, playing abroad for a long time but in the end of their career they usually choose to play in their country. KYK is adored in Korea, she is like in celebrity status maybe? I bet she get a lot of endorsement money too, beside the salary. It's easier to play in your country rather than foreign country with foreign language, being far away from family etc

i've been paying attention to this for a while now lol and honestly i can't tell

we don't know anything one way or the other about julia's sexuality. she does ping in a sort of artsy introspective gay kind of way but no actual receipts (no straight receipts either). some people thought she was dating a teammate at georgia tech last season because they were going on trips together all the time, but maybe she's just the kind of girl who has really intense female friendships and that's what's going on with kvr too

That's a good question. All three of them are excellent captains, respected and stable presences in their teams.

For me, in the number one spot, I put Gabi. I admit I’m biased since I am from Brazil, but Gabi has all the qualities to be a great captain. She’s charming, has a calming presence, is dependable, and is enthusiastic without antagonizing her opponents.

Instead of Larson or Eda for the second place, I also choose Kim. Maybe she’s not as calm, but her presence always inspires confidence in her teammates. Most importantly, she’s not a sore loser. I remember in Tokyo, after she was defeated by Brazil, she embraced and hugged Nati, and she did the same with Boskovic after being defeated by Serbia.

Personally, I just think Larson and Eda are good captains but not particularly interesting individual, they are a bit boring

KYK, though one of best in her prime and can carry a team, apparently is very hard on her teammates. I wish I could find the video but her fellow NTs said so. I think someone calming on field in the tense situations like Erdem, Gabi or Larson would be required.

I've watched the video of her teammate NT saying that KYK is indeed hard on her NT teammate but they said they don't mind it and that it pushes them to do their best and she always shields them from the public if they make mistakes. So she isn't afraid to criticize her teammates in private but always takes responsibility and protects them from public's criticism. I think it is a great characteristic of a captain. And she seems close with some of her teammates from what I've seen she seems a fun person off the court. I remember Larson said that KYK is the funniest person she ever played with, but I agree KYK is sometimes a bit too emotional.

Larson is a great captain, she has some kind of calming aura about her. Personally, I choose Gabi. She's like the perfect combination between a fun teammate and a charismatic captain

For NT? I prefer KYK, she can bring Korea team that well tbh a shitty team to Olympic semi and she always can bring her NT to trust her and she can always lift her team's spirits and make them believe that they can do it. Case example : Turkiye vs Korea match in Tokyo

I also love Gabi she has a perfect balance between fun, hardworker and discipline player, and she's also charismatic

Well KYK and Gabi are the type of player that fun and charming off the court but can be serious and charismatic on the court while Erdem and Larson are more serious and less fun type of teammate. Personally I prefer captain like KYK or Gabi

Agree with KYK and Gabi both can be a fun teammate but they can also be a charismatic captain.
