Where do you think Georgia would've been picked if she declared this year?
Would Dallas pick her over Jacy Sheldon? :hmmm:

Yes I must say even I'm sad that this batch is so straight the straight girls really bring the fashion and the glamour to the draft. Cameron and Angel are really pretty.
The general public will ate this pretty straight girls batch. They're also media ready. Clark carried but the other girls also really brought it.Good timing for the league if they're still fumbling this and can't capitalize then idk what else to say... :nervous:

Re: WNBA - Part III

the sartorial changes over the years on draft day is really something to behold. have seen a lot of hilarious characterizations of the past on twitter: “bank teller chic,” “Ann Taylor Loft,” “student council meeting.” what are some of best and worst and “so bad it’s good” of years past?

Do yall know when they start selling jerseys? My lil nieces and nephews already asking for CC jerseys lol fortunately we're too far to watch live I mean this aunty gonna be broke because the tickets gonna be expensive as hell :nervous:
If you live near a D!ck's Sporting Goods, they sell her jerseys. Not sure if it's only Indy area locations tho.
I doubt it will be available nationally. But probably in Indiana and Iowa and select other markets. Dicks knows where her college jersey sold / was shipped to so I would guess they are leveraging that data.

Yikes thanks anyway lol
They restocked a ton and there are more than one color!
Da I think her being a Nike athlete is going to mean her jersey will have better availability than what would have happened in the past. They will keep restocking.

Maybe she's bi and hasn't fully realized it yet. Having a serious boyfriend so young will have that effect. But yeah, she doesn't read as straight to me and I'm almost never wrong lol
From that kate martin video clark scream like a typical straight girl lol
Da. I'm not getting my hopes up with CC. She's the most popular basketball player rn and she's America's wet dream. Lol. I'm rooting for Kate Martin. Really hope she makes it.

Last year was the first real year I watched WNBA games so this was my first time watching the draft, but do they normally draft players from the audience like Kate Martin? It seemed both spontaneous and unplanned at the same time.
I don’t think it has happened before. She just happened to be there supporting Clark and Holly (team IA reporter and all) knew it. She wasn’t even projected to be drafted in recent draft boards.

Holly also said she was going to be seated in the mezzanine, but she had them move her to ground level in case drafted.
That’s just wild to me. What a made-for-movie moment. I’m assuming at some point they told her, hey, you’re about to get drafted because her teammates were recording the moment, but still, just there as a spectator to support your best friend and you get called up to the stage yourself.
The person who recorded her getting drafted (Aliyah) said that they came up to her right before she got drafted and told her to move to a seat at the end of the row and to give her phone to someone else so they basically knew she was about to get drafted right before. Very exciting!

Liz after she recovers. She'll be unstoppable with that mid-range fade-away.

Looking at picks outside of the first round, Muhl (Seattle) and Osborne (Phoenix) both have a good chance of making their teams since they had no first rounders. And most teams need a cheap rookie contract to fill out their roster.

Kitley is a draft and stash player due to her acl.

One of their other picks might make the roster because of that.

Kate said all she wanted was a chance and she got it! And even if she doesn’t make the team, could probably play somewhere else right? Going #18 in the draft isn’t too shabby!!

Also, Clark must have done a lot of media training. She’s good at answering a lot of questions and being cordial and gracious. Even when asked the same thing repeatedly in different ways
She could 100% play somewhere overseas yeah
