imo unless it’s out of her control I can’t see her leaving. I feel she probably owes arsenal 2 seasons and then if she’s not back to her best I can see her retiring. Also not sure them as a couple would commit to getting a dog etc if she was gonna move elsewhere. Wouldn’t surprise me if giving viv a new contract plays a part in Beth extending her contract down the line
She doesn’t owe Arsenal anything what are you on about? She is free to do what she wants. Players get dogs together and then one moves or they break up all the time. You are teaching and it’s kind of ridiculous now. Rachel Daly and Kristie Mewis got a dog together, they broke up. Rachel kept the dog. Erin McLeod and Ella Maser got a dog together, they broke up. Ella kept the dog. Maddie Pogarch and Christen Westphal got a dog together. They are still together, Maddie moved teams. The dog lives with Christen and Maddie visits when she has time off. The dog, her relationship, etc. - none of it is tying Viv anywhere. She’s an adult and a professional athlete. Maybe she stays, maybe she goes. IF she goes it’ll be because she has decided to make a career move. Which she is entitled to make. She owes Arsenal nothing and is allowed to do whatever the hell she wants. And stop using “she’s injured” as an excuse. She’ll be back before the end of the season. Any team signing her wouldn’t be signing a player who would be out for a year.
