I'm thinking if the episode with Iga is going to be Rome or maybe even Roland Garros. I thought it was going to be Madrid because Dasha said something like "we talked and I'm waiting for her" (which made me think she was waiting for here there, in Madrid), but since the Madrid vlog is already out so it seems like the talk they had was about her agreeing to participate in one of the next episodes.

The Mirra interview was great. They really vibe great together and I don't want to be a weirdo considering how young Andreeva is, but she's a flirt lol. The only thing that made me scratch my head was how both of them totally misinterpreted #cakegate from last year and it makes you see why current WTA players would never be able to carry the legacy and fight of the original WTA players. Absolutely clueless, even the more intelligent ones such as Dasha and Mirra.

Otherwise I prefer Natalia with dark hair too.

Dasha is having a great season because she wins all her close matches, all the close sets, tiebreakers, everything. It's so interesting to see after 2023 when she literally lost ALL close sets.

This year she won the final sets tiebreaks aginst Pegula and Haddad Maia. Here in Madrid, she came back from 2-5 in the 2nd set in the 1st round and now won both close sets against Nastia. Her only losses are matches where she is clearly outplayed by the opponent.

She is in the top10 now on the Race.

This is just my fan strategy for the pre-top players (WTA 15-25). Matches against regular nonamers isn't worth watching, I think. Star battles matter. I'm not forcing this on anyone, of course.
So in Madrid she could play with Martic, Pavs, Kalinina, all of them are the clayers. Dangerous, but good for growing confidence. Wish Daria good luck.

What a match!

Dasha just had her first win against a top5 opponent since 2022. She finally won memorable match against a top player. She will be taken seriously in the next months again! Sad day for the haters who call her a pusher and a useless lesbian. Great day for Dasha and Natasha.
3 hour long match, even if she loses the final, this tournament is already a success. She was mentally strong an won the final set tiebreak.

It was a great experience after the tragic Rybakina match from last year. Congrats Dasha.

She already defended her SF points. Why are we starting the same thing again? I remember all the comments from last year about her dropping out of the top100 by the end of 2023, comments that said she will have to play ITF tournaments.

This is clay, if she can play well and doesn't choke like last year against Kudermetova, all she needs is a good draw to reach a SF or final during the clay season. Going to Stuttgart was a mistake by her last year, she lost 1st round on a weirdly fast surface and just wasted energy and money on travelling. It makes more sense to take that week off and get ready for Rome and Madrid where she can have some great results again.

What are you talking about? She is the No11 player on the planet. Literally the highest ranked non-top10 player on the WTA Tour. It's not a reality.... She is 300 points away from the top10. Literally any other player is less likely to get into the top10 compared to the No.11 player.
In tennis, you can be top 5 without winning a single tournament.
Look at the calendar and the number of points to defend in Charleston, and she's not playing in Stuttgart. Ostapenko is now No.10, she plays literally everywhere this season. Look at all this and there will be no questions for you.
But in fact, I was talking about Dasha’s level, which is not suitable for Top10. I didn't want to go into detail because it's a sad topic.
