People please don't engage with these clowns. :eyeroll:

There's nothing wrong with talking about their personal lives. But there's a difference between that, and babbling constantly about who you think one of them is f**king. Go over there with that bs.

How strong is Thomas and how light is Reese? It seemed like Reese went down without much effort from Thomas.
There are boxers and UFC fighters that can drop a huge person with what looks like a tap. Thomas maybe caught her at the right moment, spot, and angle.

And maybe Thomas has considerably more muscle, or maybe she just looks that way.

Jeez, it feels like they have the Fever playing every other day. They couldn’t schedule things a little differently so the games were a little more balanced for all the teams? It just seems unfair to both the teams who are getting killed by the schedule and to the ones who aren’t getting as many.

The Fever have another back-to-back next weekend with the Sky and Liberty. The NY game gonna be a repeat of the Aces game.
Fever are scheduled to play 11 games in 20 days and that has happened only one other time since 2007. Historically brutal schedule
Thanks for the historical facts! The schedules have always been tough, but their May and June is just brutal like you say. I know they’re having to fit things in because of the Olympics but it still feels like there could be better balance with some of the teams with only four games so far.

Ladies who was this about? Hamby played for Vegas in 2021 and supposedly outed someone even though they were in a public relationship with a dude. I'm reading what were the shadiest/crazies W social media moments.

Fair waiver doesn't shock me. Three possible reasons: they are about to pick up someone we don't know about, Chelsea is looking better and they prefer 11, or she wasn't good in the locker room. Apparently she was seeming shady in lives? Idk but if those rumors are true I can most def see Becky and Nat showing her the door post haste if they found out. But maybe she requested it because going from option 1A to option 12Z wasn't it for her and she'd rather try to get picked up by a worse team.
One theory I read is that because Bell is hurt they needed someone with size to take her minutes. So they need the roster spot to sign a forward.
Tbh they should cut Bell and pick up Billings when Dallas has to let her go and pick up another guard, they have the cap space apparently.
But at any rate someone on some team is about to be cut for Billings this week.
DA I haven't kept up with the EDD saga fully but saw people speculating Washington might finally let her go? LV can hand their next couple years' draft picks right over pretty easily... :tinfoil:
I don't think its even possible because DC singed her to a max deal.. and there are no teams with that open cap space. Cutting a rookie would not be enough. I don't think they could just take the future picks and sign her for vet min because she's not a free agent.

The schedule is tough for all teams at different points in the season. I know a lot of new fans only care about the Fever but Dallas had a back to back today and looks like they will win both both. The Fever isn't going to beat some of these teams even if you guys had a year off but their fans are fixated on the schedule after first wanting the fire the coach, trade/cut Boston, and trade/cut Smith.

Billings has been balling out. But her hardship contract with Dallas says until the end of the season. Is it still just until they release her in favor of a returning player?

This is the page that says it.

https://www.wnba.com/players/transactio ... ll&month=0
It is until an injured player is cleared to return, in order to return to Dallas she would have to clear waiver and Dallas would have to cut someone to make cap room. Technically if none of the injured players are cleared she can stay till the end of the season but given someone is out with a broken nose from two weeks ago Billings can’t stay much longer.

McCowan just did that same thing to Bec Allen last night. Deadly.

McCowan's screens don't give defenders two steps of space. It's more like 1 step. She sets them when defenders are 1 step away from her. I think if you read rule books, it's supposed to be 2 steps

The way this has been blown out of proportion, it was a bad foul by AT and she earned her ejection but in real time I don’t think she was trying to have her arm land on her neck, she wanted to throw an arm at Reese but it wasn’t something that was intended to be as violent as it turned out.
I agree with the ejection and AT can be a dirty player (see what she did to Candace Parker in the playoffs one year.. trying to injure her knees which were well known to have been an issue for CP). But AT is receiving absolutely disgusting social media hate that isn't OK. The amount of racism, homophobia, people saying she beats her gf etc. is gross.
Angel Reese stans are disgusting. They literally trolled the other forum and some of the toxic anons are in here bringing their hatred and anger :nervous:

Wow, McBride had a 29 point perfect shooting game with 3 minutes to go. Ended up with 31 (10 for 12).

If it were you, would you have attempted another shot to go for 30+ knowing that your team had the win locked up? What's better 100% FG + 100% 3PT + 100% FT percentage or 30+ points? :hmmm:
McBride has been playing well. She's gay too.

We've also got the top 2 scorers in the league right now on our side. The gays be crushing it this year.

I don't even think its anything like that. Chelsea probably isn't coming back soon and they could lose quite a few coming up unless they play better. I think she just couldn't contribute now. Jackie is playing way too many minutes to be healthy. She's literally top 4 in the league in minutes. They need someone pro ready to take some minutes and hopefully add some buckets because their bench isn't great at scoring. She apparently wasn't picking up the plays easily and wasn't going to be able to contribute like they need soon. They likely have their eye on someone to replace her.

Thomas is very strong, Reese was going up for the rebound so it makes things worse since she can’t really brace herself. I don’t think AT knew she was going to jump when she threw her arm and may made a different decision if she was aware that was going to happen, but AT is a player who likes to give the extra hit and bump to opponents.
