USC and USC pre-season top 2?
Probably. But remember how everyone said a year ago that LSU would be an unbeatable super-team?
I was never on the LSU hype train for this season. They honestly got incredibly lucky in that 2023 run. I personally don't think Gottlieb is that great of a coach, but they do have the talent. Will be a fun and interesting team to watch next season and they will be right up there with SC if they do gel. Now if UConn gets pass their injuries and Strong lives up to the hype, they'll also be a contender.

LSU roster never made sense it was big names who a person with some knowledge of basketball could tell you didn’t work.
The USC moves at least make sense but the depth will be an issue, you are relying on freshman to fill that role and the is always a big ask and Gottlieb is not a great in game coach. The coaching issue may not be exposed much in the Big 10 where it seems it will be a down year overall for the conference, so who USC plays in the non-conference will be interesting.
UConn has a lot of pieces but outside of Paige there are so many questions marks. Azzi is coming off a 2nd ACL, 3rd major knee injury which means she will likely be a different player. I am not very concerned about Strong making a transition to college her game is easily translates to college even if her scoring takes time. The biggest problem is center, Jana has been hyped and she has been with the program for a year and half, but basically hasn’t played outside of a week and half for that long.
