Any chance Paige or Paige and Azzi can get her/their own thread? This one seems to have turned into that. Since Paige is definitely gay she’d fit the guidelines for her own thread.

I just hate people who talk in tongues like this. Why is she talking like a religious weirdo who would throw holy water on me if she saw me holding hands with my gf. Talk normal Paige. It's too late to pander to religious right wing crowd anyways now.

She’s already said she’s declaring next year. I’m not sure anything would change that tbh.

Azzi is the real question mark. I’m assuming she’ll stay a fifth year because she just has to get more games under her belt and prove she can stay healthy, but there are some plausible draft scenarios where it’d be possible her and Paige could end up on the same team (assuming she’s healthy and has a good season of course). That might make her consider declaring.
Lol I’m kidding honestly I think they both are drafted in 2025 and like you said there’s a few options where they could end up on the same team. Feel like both ending up in Minnesota would be great marketing wise, since Paige is the hometown girl. Nice little UCONN reunion with Dorka and Napheesa.
I think the Mystics would be most likely in this scenario. They’re very very likely to have one lottery pick and possibly a second depending on how bad the Dream are. Marketing there would be great too since that’s Azzi’s hometown team and I’m pretty sure Paige lives in the DMV during the summers now as well.
Honestly there’s a few teams that really need marquee players, WNBA needs to start rigging the lottery like the NBA to set the league up for success
liberty (via mercury) her best scenario a good team and new york area market
Definitely would be ideal to not go to a garbage team as a rookie.

That part of the draft system is so shitty for top players. Congrats, on being best. As a reward you get to go to a bad team with a bad front office.

Looking at this recent TT with she and KK, I gotta say that Paige is a cutie pie. Now this baby is far too young for me but I can see why women like her and why Azzi is head over heels. Tall, athletic and full of personality is a winning combination with the ladies.

Yeah KK is a good backup but she’s not starter quality, but when UCONN is up by 20 in a game she can come in so Paige actually has a chance to rest for a change.
KK will be greatly improved next season, also Geno probably isn’t looking for Chen to be the primary ball handler and more as the off guard. But he may bring KK off the bench for a defensive spark that he liked from Griffin who will be out until around late December/January.
KK will be better next year but if they get Chen she will obviously start over KK, could easily be : Bueckers, Chen, Fudd, Strong, El Afy
Honestly, I'm not against getting Chen even if they have too many guards because it's honestly only Paige you can really count on. Caroline idk if she'll even play and Azzi's gonna be limited for a bit and it'll take her time to be effective. KK and Ash will make jumps but how high? And then the freshmen are unproven obviously. So an experienced guard isn't a bad thing. But they really need a big. I know they're high on Jana but putting all that expectation on a freshman coming back from injury doesn't sound like a great idea.
Gotta get Beers
I think if they can get her campus they have a shot but OU hiring her coach from OSU is tough to compete with. Plus I wouldn’t be shocked if there is a grad transfer post who may not be in the portal yet on his radar that may give a little more roster flexibility for the following season.

God damn. This is such a good response. Agree that having friends post on their socials was smart. Hope Azzi is doing ok. Honestly have never been a fan of UConn, but they’ve earned my admiration and respect. Looking forward to supporting them next year!
I think Azzi was with them. I think it's her voice around 0:40 say something about recording and then I think it might be her voice saying "that one" around 0:47.

Yup that’s Azzi , makes sense she’d be with them just never been one to join in with the craziness on TikTok

I’ll fix the link for you:

Yes! She says is that guy recording us towards the beginning! Definitely Azzi. So happy she's with them all and they aren't letting it ruin whatever their relationship is.

Paige will be at PG worst case scenario just will have another experienced ball handler because the gap between her and KK is huge.

From a basketball perspective this actually does make sense given I don’t think UConn is confident Caroline/Azzi health wise can be full contributors all season.
Caroline has had so many concussions, should she even play anymore?
I believe she has only had one or two official concussions but she suffers from post-concussions syndrome which is causing her neck problems and basically any small hit to her head can trigger a migraine. It sounded like when they shut her down this year Geno wasn’t confident they would find a way to allow her to play without risking long term problems.
I wouldn’t be shocked if she doesn’t play next season either, like you said Geno isn’t trying to ruin her life in the future over basketball.

Yeah Paige has a good head on her shoulders. She has a knack for saying the right thing in difficult moments.

I wonder if Azzi will say anything or if it’s implied Paige is speaking for both of them.
Paige is speaking for both, most Azzi would probably do is retweet the tweet and that’d be more than enough.
She rarely posts to begin with so I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t even retweet

The tweet hasn’t even been up for an hour, give it a second lol
Da
I don’t know if she will post anything but it won’t have anything to do with her agents advice and everything to do with Azzi not using sm much before this.

This is a perfect response. Love the way the WBB community has protected them the last few days by spamming their names on social media so all you see is highlights and reporting any leaks.
God damn. This is such a good response. Agree that having friends post on their socials was smart. Hope Azzi is doing ok. Honestly have never been a fan of UConn, but they’ve earned my admiration and respect. Looking forward to supporting them next year!

She hasn't done that so maybe their teams dealt with it differently and they are not talking

HVL says she didn’t transfer to TCU. She has been looking at multiple schools.
This seems a little odd. It seemed like a pretty done deal with how widely reported it was and she just now refutes it?
Da
She was with USA basketball 3x3, but apparently upset it was leaked. But it is still possible she goes to TCU.
