Wtf is Grave doing with Alex in a car. They're barely friends. Leah has to be there, she is the bridge between Alex and Grace.
+ What a cringe story too. You can tell from Alex's expressions that she is uncomfortable. And then Grace's fake laugh. My God.

What story??
She has deleted all of her stories!!

Yall really hating on someone u supposedly don’t care about.. that also seems to have a better team and getting in to events these wsl players would dream of as an network opportunity

Let’s be real - if u hate on her and how she is moving, look to the one that let her in. THEY like her so just mive on, go out and touch some Grass. SHE is clowner to Leah and the crew than all of US here
ok. i get what you’re saying and i agree, these people are weird. but also, why carry this on? why bring it up again and start the discussion again just to make a point? just reply to other things and move on, there’s no point continuing any of it.

I can't imagine Clinton wanting to go anywhere other than Spurs if she was going to be sold. But United don't sell players they don't want to sell, so it really just depends on that.
I cant see them selling her yet, they’ll either keep her on loan with Spurs or bring her back. I’m betting the former tbh, they don’t really need her rn.
They absolutely won't just loan her back to Spurs for another year. Her contract's up next summer so she's back at United or sold, those are the options.
QMTA. Her contract is reported as being up to the end of 24/25 but as seen with the Parris news today, she could have an option year that just hasn't been reported.
an option year isn’t really any extra safety for a club keeping a player though, because it’s up to the player if they do that extra year. same way it’s up to the player if they’re going to re-sign. if united are smart they’ll sort out what she’s going to do this summer, and if that is doing the extra year, they’ll have her confirm that now. otherwise, sell.
It's not up to the player, at least in United's contracts. But if they don't want her, it does make sense to sell her this year since Spurs would be likely to splash the cash on her.

Admittedly, I don’t follow United whatsoever. But I swear I never hear anything about them actually selling players, at least not good ones. Seems like they lose a lot of them for free when their contracts are up.
they have sold players. they’ve also lost a lot of players on free. so it’s a bit of both really. same with most clubs though.
It's more an indication of how bad United are at negotiating deals. Most of the players that leave on frees are those they want to keep, but because they try and do things on the cheap they end up pushing these players away. Look at what happened with Russo. She was prepared to stay and they agreed terms, but then the club backed out, driving her out. Wouldn't be shocked if the same is happening to the likes of Garcia.

With Clinton, this summer is make or break. There's no point loaning her again because her contract's up next year and she'll just leave for free never having played for them. Either she's part of their plans or she isn't. And if she's not, that'll have been a total waste.

Depends how much of a say she has in it. She’s been performing really well and getting more of a chance in the England squad, I could see United wanting to have her back in their squad. On a personal level for her though, I reckon she’d want to stay loaned out. Far more of a chance she plays consistently, and she seems to be enjoying herself at Spurs.

yea they don’t. they’ve got like 9 midfielders or something, only 6 of those actually play, and those 6 have to rotate too. then you’ve got the spots that automatically go to zelem and toone. there’s just not really any room for her to slot in so quickly, she’s better off at spurs and it’s clearly been the right choice for her development.

This has Kirsty Hanson vibes from last season. It dragged on so long, she actually came back and trained with Man Utd for a few sessions before Villa where able to officially sign her
I actually just thought that this was reminding me of something while reading through the thread, and this is exactly it.

Fr, having this much obsession and investment with someone they supposedly hate, is such odd behaviour ahahahha. Crazy thing, you don’t have to look at her social media if you don’t like her. Insane, I know

They have sold players, Hanson and Groenen most recently that I can think of (other players, like Leon and Fuso, have been under contract, but details like fees just aren't reported) but that's kind of what I'm saying - if they don't want to sell (i.e Russo, Earps) then they won't.

So if Clinton isn't in their plans, they'll sell her. But if they want her back, they'll get her back (unless she really really kicks up a fuss, maybe, but I don't think she would).

where did you see these? tbh not seen anyone look particularly great. i like Alex scotts style but not for events otherwise she rarely misses.
If u search for Alex scott on Getty images and look at the photos of tonight there’s ones of her walking in
thanks. yikes not the most flattering for either. i do think the gloves ruin Alex's outfit otherwise i dont mind the is it a jumpsuit? the colour is nice. not Alessias best outfit this evening. doubt Leah is there think would of been a pic by now. wonder if some of the girls are celebrating beths B-day this evening could explian why leah isnt at this event.
Good point about them potentially celebrating Beth’s bday today, guess we’ll have to see if it gets posted in a dump this month or next
I don't know what the reason is but I'm proud of Leah for not attending this event. Da
proud? why would it be so terrible if she attended this event? alessia is there too so is it bad shes gone? people judge leah way too much for no sane reason.

I can't imagine Clinton wanting to go anywhere other than Spurs if she was going to be sold. But United don't sell players they don't want to sell, so it really just depends on that.
Admittedly, I don’t follow United whatsoever. But I swear I never hear anything about them actually selling players, at least not good ones. Seems like they lose a lot of them for free when their contracts are up.

I just saw alessia’s outfit on Getty images. I’m not a fan tbh
Yeah it’s not the best but might look nicer in real life than a photo. Also saw pictures of gc and Alex Scott walking in and the photos also aren’t the nicest tbh
where did you see these? tbh not seen anyone look particularly great. i like Alex scotts style but not for events otherwise she rarely misses.
Not that anon, but theyre on Getty. Just search up Alex Scott. Not gonna post them in here (no offence), just because I don’t want this to turn into a whole Grace thing again.

Anyways. Yeah, agree, no one looks particularly great. It’s all kinda dark and dingy looks if that makes sense lmaoo.

Forgot she was still on Utd’s books lol 😅
Da. Does anyone think Clinton will be pulled back to United for next season? Or stay loaned out?
Depends how much of a say she has in it. She’s been performing really well and getting more of a chance in the England squad, I could see United wanting to have her back in their squad. On a personal level for her though, I reckon she’d want to stay loaned out. Far more of a chance she plays consistently, and she seems to be enjoying herself at Spurs.

Probably Spurs if anywhere. She fits in pretty well there and seems to be enjoying it at the club.

they just don’t need them it’s pointless. if they wanted a midfielder anyway, they’d just get clinton back. not 2 players 30+.

This has Kirsty Hanson vibes from last season. It dragged on so long, she actually came back and trained with Man Utd for a few sessions before Villa where able to officially sign her

I got the impression there was someone else there 😂😂😂
I was kind of hoping for that impression because I knew they both had the day off but I didn’t see any sign of anyone else? Starting to think that might have ended. Would like to be wrong though. I’ll miss Erin if it has, she was fit and had a nice vibe

Maybe Fran and Maren? The owner is rich rich so could easily splash out huge salaries on both of them.
Fair actually, would like to see this happen tbh.
Idk, I’d really like to see them go to Palace. Would definitely be good business from LCL, but I just think that Palace would be better for them personally.
palace is probably more ideal for them, since they can stay in the wsl. but honestly they’d probably be better off competition wise at lcl, because at least lcl can compete with the other teams in the league and have a shot at silverware. i don’t see palace being able to do that next season, even if they do do well.
I don’t think there’s any point staying in the WSL if it means you’re going to a club that will hardly be able to compete. Would make more sense to go down a division and actually be at a club that can be competitive with those in its league.
True. The whole point in playing in top leagues is to compete at the highest domestic level. But you’re not exactly competing at the top level if you’re not competing

Do players even get a say in these things lol ?

I mean, I know they get a say in whether or not they want to be loaned to a specific club or stay at theirs. E.g. Gio didn’t want to go to a Championship club so stayed at Arsenal. But do they get to request that they do be loaned out, and the club have to listen to that and acknowledge it. Or is it just that if the club wants you back then that’s that.
If a club wants you there, then they want you there and that kind of is just that. Loans have to be a thing that’s agreed upon by both parties, the club and the player. That works both ways, if the club wants to loan a player out said player has to agree, and if the player wants to go on loan their club has to agree. Wont happen otherwise.
