A k-anon spilled awhile back in the SGSD old forum that Sunny has been with women and apparently there's picture proof from around 2010-2012. But she also has rumours with dudes, and she's talked about dating and guys on different varieties. Sometimes the vibe feels weird when she does that like she's overcompensating, but I'm probably projecting. All that could have been compulsory het, so being les is a possibility, but the consensus is she's bi which I agree with.

I think it's a good example of hiding in plain sight, but apparently some listeners called in and said it made them uncomfortable. Then she got replaced a few months later. I'm pretty sure she stepped down on her own because she had to prepare for the SNSD tour, but who knows, she definitely could have been fired for being too overtly gay. She's still on good terms with that PD and staff so that's also why I don't think she was booted. (Btw, she fangirled over male actors and idols on that radio show too, so again, probably bi). IY was pretty gay too lol. Her friendship with Hyomin seemed really intense. Like Hyomin showed/said a few times that her emotions toward Sunny felt like they should be for a boyfriend. They're best friends now, but that was sus. She was obsessed with Sejeong for awhile and is friends with Yoojung who are supposedly sus-don't know much about the ioi girls so I can't speak on that. So I guess lastly, she was acting really weird and fidgety during a talk show for their 10th anniversary. The "Who will get married first" question came up and Sooyoung chose Sunny. While Sooyoung was talking, Sunny's body language was one elongated internal scream. Her reaction could mean anything, not necessarily a gay explanation, but I thought it was very odd because she's never squirmy like that on variety and she stuttered when she responded.

I kind of think she got shoved back deep in the closet on her own accord. I'm probably being delusional but lemme explain. She comes from a rich family that seems very traditional. I'm pretty sure her dad is/was in the oil industry while living in the Middle East (Kuwait) and we know how homophonic those countries are. Having a queer daughter could potentially mess up business deals, so she probably decided to conform. Again, this is pure delusion I realize. Oh I totally agree. Especially everything she mentioned on Roommate. That felt forced to me. I was just trying to be as non-delusional as possible by mentioning some of the things involving dudes. Like you said, it definitely seems like comp het for the cameras.

And you're right, nothing's confirmed and was barely gossiped about, but like the other anon said the hospital visits might be something and I think there was a possibility with that Mr. Mr. dancer. My opinion
Bi:
Sunny - probably BI but leans toward women much more so as she got older as soon as she was done experimenting. She used to kiss her members a lot and bite their shoulders (YT videos galore), and still pats their butts. I think she talked about having to date through video calls and going out in groups. For example, she and Narae hung out in the past and I'm sure she was able to see people by going over to Narae's foodie get-togethers. I think that's how most idols date anyways. I think she dated two actors, the one she visited in the hospital. And also Song Joong-ki, because they have a friendly ex-vibe.
Taeyeon - I think she genuinely loved Tiffany but Tiffany is just straight. I think they aren't as close in terms of spending all their time together because they realized it was unhealthy for Taeyeon to be so attached. I think when Tiffany spent two years in the USA promoting was when Taeyeon was able to extend her social circle. But who knows, maybe Taeyeon and Fany are just very private about their Taeny interactions now.

Les:
Yuri - likely be Les but tried to be straight or beard for her family. I feel bad about what she must of gone through with her brother.
Seohyun - kind of suspicious because even when she was 20 yo, she still liked sweet potatoes more than boys

Straight:
Yoona - dated men and doesn't seem interested in women. Though she likes boy group dances, DIY and dresses down all the time in sweats and comfortable clothes. Maybe because she models a lot and is uncomfortable all the time, on her downtime she likes to be otherwise. She is physically affectionate with her members but I think it's because she is the other maknae.
Hyoyeon - but will flirt happily with her queer members. I think she likely accepts them without judgment and also keeps everyone laughing. I think it's nice to have someone in the group like her, given some members struggle with depressive moods. I love all moodmakers in the group, they are essential to the mental health of the others.
Sooyoung - she dreamt of marrying since she was young and has been dating a guy for 8 years.
Tiffany - unfortunately very straight, which I feel is very heartbreaking for Taeyeon and maybe even Sunny?

Looking back on these messages and I remember some of the episodes. I think Horror Movie Factory was just as crazy. It's genuinely sad that everyone has youtube channels now with very scripted material presenting them all perfect. Yes shows like Star Golden Bell and Invincible Youth and Weekly Idol before the host change can make some idols uncomfortable but it did bring out some of their real personalities. Now you can't tell. At least Running Man is still around. I do like Apink and Bomi's YT channel because she's still funny and extra no matter what and brings out the crazy in her members. Apinkation was hilarious most of the time.
I didn't ever get a chance to re-watch this Factory Girl scene. I've watched Sunny's snake handling with Taeyeon's help but most YT videos cut this part out.
In this scene you can totally tell what each girl is thinking.
Sooyoung is just screaming to get it over with. Hyoyeon plugged her ears knowing what was going to happen. Tiffany as manager T just getting her unpleasant but dutiful task done. Seohyun trying to help but disapproving of how they are handling it. Sunny coming over and wondering WTF these girls are doing ("cause I handle chickens, snakes, cows, etc without all this screaming!"). Taeyeon is just wondering if the baby pig is hurt or going to be traumatized. Jessica just laughing her ass off and also wondering WTF. Yuri just getting a kick out of the chaos because everything can and should be funny as long as people are pulling their weight at the end of the day.
