No doubt. And in Yong's case, I think there are several "layers" (?). Her closed off personality, her life as an Idol and her role as a leader. As in, it's not only the hardships of being an Idol and a leader, but her "normal" self along with her work life. I'd add being gay and in a relationship with a member but since it's only speculation I won't. Agreed about the tweet too.

if we do add 'being gay and in a relationship with a member' as a thing, it's like she wouldn't have anyone to talk about that relationship with... good or bad things. ofc she has mamamoo, assuming they're a couple and the whole group knows about it, they'd still be friends with byul too, and her members, what makes it weird. anyway, idk... I get what she means, sometimes you just wanna call someone to talk about whatever, someone outside of work or family (and/or romantic relationships) but it's difficult when you're an introvert who's shy AND an idol.
not sure if this applies to her, but sometimes we want someone who we can call without needing a reason to, not because you want to ask something or because of solarsido or whatever, just calling for the sake of calling and spending time with them over a call... without thinking you're bothering the other person. but anyway, I feel like there are so many possible reasons why she could be feeling like that ><

and thinking about mamamoo again: if her members are busy on a schedule, who's she gonna call?

all in all, I agree with you all said. at least she's trying to open up, even though it's so damn difficult to. that's awesome

Byul has never done it during an official schedule/itw/bts though (not in front of her if you count School Attack) ? They're both very careful with what they say (and how they act regarding Yong). And Yong didn't really like it at the beginning.
