I have a question, from those gossip sites like theqoo etc. which ones are the most and least relevant?
Not sure which one could be considered the most relevant but dcinside, ilbe and fmkorea are male incel havens so dont bother going there. Theqoo is female dominated but they only allow accounts to be created during set time periods but you can still read the posts there without an account. Pann is female dominated too but it's known to be very toxic.

I think Theqoo and Instiz are probably more reliable when it comes to seeing what the "general opinion" is because it's difficult for trolls and antis to infiltrate and spam the comments to make it seem like the general opinion is different

I can see why Hybe doesn’t care about vocals when LSF can just use pre-recorded vocals with breathing sounds added to it, and their delusional stans still eat it up. Everything about this group is so soulless. Genuinely one of the worst popular GGs in a while

<idgaf>
Desagree they're hot and have great stage presence. I don't care about their singing, I'd glady pay a ticket because they can put on a show. My fave being chaewon what a godess
Plus except aespa and nmixx who can sing in 4th gen? (and baemon, stayc, and weeekly)
I personally don’t find them hot, and their music is literally a worse version of western music that I already listen to, so they don’t have anything to offer for me to enjoy. I can’t enjoy a show where the performers are lipsyncing most of it. I just find it disrespectful for performers to do. A group like them get paid a good amount of money (more than what most of us will ever make), but they can’t perform the basics of their job. That’s just so pathetic to me. I used to dislike IVE a lot for lipsyncing too, but then they started singing live more during the “I Am” era, and I saw lots of clips of them singing live with clear vocals especially from Yujin, Liz, and Rei (and even WY wasn’t too shabby), so now I changed my opinions about them
Image
Weirdo response. You were the one randomly bringing up their hotness when I’m talking about their vocals, and I disagreed. You talked about what you like about them, and I talked about what I dislike about them. If you didn’t want my reply, then don’t reply to me
Nah the difference is you're fucking obnoxious, an anti, you're baiting for shit. My reply was just to counter balance your hater post in hope you take the hint and stfu, but no. It's originally against the rules to stan bait and lash out your hatred for whatever group. It's only your opinion and the antis opinion. It's one of the most streamed group, many agree they're amazing live (in terms of stage presence and entertainment). They're hot and it's refreshing in a sea of middle school absolutely not hot concepts. Many groups can't sing live, it's a shame, but I prefer that over groups who are boring live. Because i'm not some obnoxious shitter like you i won't name those because even if they're kinda boring they have plenty of other things i like.

The only actual plagiarism I've seen thus far in this debacle is the for LSFM song Easy. Original singer not credited at all with stage nor real name. Song so similar sounds like it could have been a demo. This guy is still active in the industry, song was uploaded 6 years ago. In comparison, the NewJeans "plagiarism" accusations are about groups that disbanded a decade+ ago and literally just dressed as the era, aka y2k which MHJ herself has admitted is an influence for the group. She's never stated it's 100% original with no influences. But you have to be purposely dense to think using y2k style is the same as a company debuting a group within 2 years of another GG in their company with a very similar style musically, visually, and even in terms of choreo. lllit was sus the moment it was revealed at the end for their survival show that only 2 girls would be public voted and the rest the company chose, what was even the point of having the show idk other than to cut out all the vocalists and girls international fans voted for.
Just a coincidence that the group is called Jeans, uses the same font, same MVs, same choreos as well (from the same mexican group). All just an amazing coincidence :eyeroll: "it's just y2k" "it's just the 90's"

Now listen to Attention but from the guy who actually made the song without being credited one second.

Newjeans also stole dance moves from Weeekly, who has a similar concept as them and were the first one to be "girlcrush hip-hop but cute" or whatever newjeans concept is. They have the exact same dance moves and weeekly isn't from the 90's or y2k.

Btw the song people claim Lesserafim copied has the first 3 notes being the same and the rest is different, i think it's a strech to call it a plagia. Beats are made quickly, trap beats all share a similar vibe. I've made melodies before on my computer, for soulless zoomer beats like this it's easy to sound similar to another artist. But if it's to drag other groups just to make newjeans look good some people will give all their energy.
Did you mix up what you linked because that's the song that just has 3 notes that sound the same at the beginning. Wtf are you even talking about did you watch the MVs or did you see a screenshot on twitter? The font is a common one it wasn't created for the group and NJ changes the font for new releases anyways. That's like claiming a company using Helvetica is plagiarizing another company who also uses Helvetica. The creators of the Mexican GG even responded agreeing they don't see any of the plagiarism and just view it as a homage of the era. Also I thought NJ was copying the JP group Speed, now they are copying this Mexican GG? Do you understand the difference between being influenced from the style of disbanded groups that were active decades ago versus debuting a gg under the same label in the same genre thus becoming direct competitors? Probably not because you'd rather bootlick a company with misogynistic men as leaders.
sa *same company, also link below to the Mexican group responding. Something I do believe though is MHJ was suspicious of that ILLIT group once it was decided HYBE would be the one's picking the majority of the members. The members who would have made it in via fan vote would have not fit the concept given to them, the popular one's among international fans were more mature. Only 1 member in the group currently was fanvoted in. The other fanvote, Youngseo, who was an ADOR trainee, left in January before debut.

The way some anons disagree with some people gaydar is hilarious as if you actually know their sexuality. Calling some idols gay is valid and calling some idols bi or straight is valid since they never told you what their sexuality are. Although I believe Moonbyul definitely not suppose to be in straight category like the rest, and most of these idols engage in gay business performances aka queerbaiting

Does anyone know if this is real or if there is a different explanation/context? Is the Hangul correct?
Irene antis really tried their hardest, really gathered all their strength, to try and say this was bs.
The arguments :
-nae seutail means my style like my style of person as in like i like her hair or something 🤡
-you don't know what she writes, it's definitely not that.

Second argument is a bit better though there are so many letters you can do in korean if you follow her writing movements, plus it matches with everything (their expressions after she tells it to wendy, her being into that unnie all throughout the radio show, the unnie legit being good looking). I believe she indeed writes this, and nae seutail means my type as in romantically.

I don't think irene has many receipts (i don't follow her or her group), but this one is to me a big receipt. Coupled with the purple friend story. These two + her disinterest in men throughout her carreer (and she's 30+) makes me think that irene is a lesbian. And many koreans also think it, it's like assumed at this point.
To me, this and the fact that Joy admitted that Irene never ever talked about boys are her two biggest receipts (it's also funny how Joy's heteronormative logic works lmao) . And then there's the purple friend story or the fact that she read Carol, which admitedly sounds kinda sus because watching the movie is one thing, many straight women watched it, but reading the book? Idk, she might be into women or not, but she has quite a few eyebrow raising receipts imo.

da I don't see lsf having stage presence like at all. Their performances are boring to watch, it's always like watching just a regular music show stage. Also, you just listed many 4th gen groups yourself who can sing so I'm not sure why are you even asking who can sing? I would add kiss of life to that list. Ive and itzy aren't strong singers but at least they still sing live.

I remember seeing this posted as a receipt but not slowed down and without the hangul, so I thought people were just assuming she wrote that without proof, but if you zoom in and follow the letters it really seems to be the case! On top of Wendy looking caught off guard. Makes me think if that is the case, then she is out to her members too.

It’s clear that fearnots have low standards and don’t care for vocals, yet when you point that out, they get mad. Not only that, but they try to get people to gag over their pre-recorded vocals with minimal live singing (and heavy pitch correction on top of it)

As one of the probably two Nmixx anons here the only real possibility in Nmixx is sullyoon who is at most bi and recently whatever the hell bae and jiwoo have got going on.

Lily is tapped into twitter but she has never expressed any interest in women in that way, not even obliquely.
Why she expressed the desire to date a man? She said some actor was hot? She said she can't date because there's only girls around her? What gives?

I can’t believe anyone would argue that Chaewon’s ask.fm is sus. What’s more likely? A gay/bi person being openly gay online while living in a conservative country or a straight person jokingly flirting back with someone of the same gender because they know people will recognize it as a joke, so they feel no discomfort with doing it while in a conservative country.
Literally nobody said it was sus learn to read. I just said it's neither gay nor straight. The girl confessing to her is clearly gay and sees not that much issues with saying it. Chaewon answers back in a not telling way so it's not telling. Nothing more.
The original anon thinks she’s a little wlw and posted it as one of the receipts. Also you said, “She didn’t reject the confession, a straight probably would.” Explain what you’re trying to imply with that then.
That if she is definitely straight, imo she would've said "thanks but i'm not interested" or something. Or maybe she's straight and still plays along. What i mean is there's a chance she's not straight and that ask.fm thing proves nothing, not gay or straight.
You said, “Yes i have been around straight girls and I've for now never seen one accept another woman's flirting or feelings, they always back off.”

Well well well, look at who’s backpedaling. You thought that a straight girls don’t play along with this kind of thing which clearly implies you think she could possibly be wlw since she went along with it. You obviously got embarrassed about being wrong, and now you’re trying to change the narrative
Yeah i personally think she could possibly be wlw because she reacted in a way that doesn't look necessarily straight TO ME. I didn't get embarrassed about being wrong cause it's not about that, it's your opinion/experience and i don't share the same. I have no idea why you deform my words on something so fucking irrelevant, it's childish now. My opinion from the start is : that ask.fm thing proves nothing (to me). Even if I think her behavior isn't typical of a straight girl, i don't think it's necessarily gay either. I can think something isn't straight while thinking it isn't gay either. It can mean nothing. But if you want to have your gotcha moment, your W by all means take it. I've been over with that convo a while ago and my point never changed once.

Sometimes this thread gives off desperate and delusional when I see someone like Chaewon being discussed as possibly wlw. She literally has het rumors, expresses interest in men, and doesn’t have any strong receipts

Nope no. I don't care for gaydars but at this point some of these lists are just here to get a rise out of people.

Sorry forgot to add DA =_=
Either way, you’re still wrong for saying, “Literally nobody said it was sus learn to read,” since the original anon thinks she’s a little wlw and used the ask.fm as a receipt, and another anon thinks straight girls don’t act like that. That’s two people thinking it’s a bit sus. Maybe you should take your own advice and “learn to read.”
I didn't say those. I'm DA.
When I said, “Explain what you’re trying to imply with that,” I’m clearly addressing the specific anon that I’m talking to. Why the hell would you reply as if you’re that anon then without even using DA? <_< Honestly, I think you are that anon, and you’re lying to cover your embarrassment. Anyways, I’m done with this conversation

There's a fancam, it wasn't solar and the comment itself anyway was because wdce has a sexy choreo and they were dancing now around a fan in a chair. Solar has no trouble taking fans into the stage, she'd done it multiple times, every kind of fan and even last week
The fancam youre talking about is 2017 from curtain call

And frankly there was nothing homophobic there. The one I'm referring too is 2016. There's no video. I frankly don't care cause she's obviously not homophobic anymore. But that incident did happen and the other ones I listed you can talk to kmoos about it. But I was a fan lol. How else wld I knw about all this.
da, the other anon is right, your video is from moosical curtain call (2017), but the other anon mentioned moosical 2016, where they did the performance with different people, it's the same song. There are fancams, I know i have one from saturday maybe? I can look it up, but it was the original Moosical concert for that song performance. The incident you mentioned was not Solar's comment, it was actually wheein's iirc, but I agree that it doesn't matter, they did this performance with different moos and I think the comment was from the first day and of course it was a bit too much, no matter who was at that chair.
