Min Heejin: Sihyuk said.
Sihyuk: "Big Hit has a lot of female fans because of BTS. We can't make girl group here. Because female fans might be jealous of girl groups. We have to make a girl group label. There is a team that already exists. I will buy a source music label. There is a trainee. If we use an existing trainee, we can make a debut team quickly. Creative is Min, music is Sihyuk, and management is done by the source.
I really want to comment on this quote by Sihyuk because it's a a very common misconception. "Women hate prettier women," and "Women are cruel to each other." It goes without saying that it's an self-fulfilling prophecy. If you raise girls in an ecosystem where you pit them against each other, they're inevitably going to develop hostility towards each other.

There is also this idea that women don't want to admire/cheer for/support other women. I remember this quote from Michael Jackson about Madonna when they were at similar levels of success in the industry, he said something along the lines of, "They admire you and know you are wonderful and great because they are jealous, because they wish they were in your shoes. Madonna is one of them. She is jealous. She is a girl, a woman and I think that's what bothers her...I get the fainting and adulation and she doesn't." His justification for that was that men don't faint and scream because they are too cool for that, and that women don't scream for other women... I truly enjoy how the success of female entertainers in the west. Girl groups have eclipsed boy groups once they've started targeting a female audience, and the biggest entertainers of this century are women. Girls do scream and faint at Taylor Swift's concerts.

Anyway. Women should support other women. Men are thankless.

Meh, I may be in the minority here but I prefer it when she presents more femme. Not that I don't like her tomboyish side, it's really cute and cool and she's attractive no matter what, but I'm not crying over it, yk? Though I also won't complain if it comes back.
Exactly. She's pretty either way. You didn't lose her, and at least, you got to see her in a more masculine attire. And here I am, a Wonyoung fan, still praying my stars to see her in a more androgynous fit.

I'm not terribly in tune with gen z culture, but what does it mean when a girl likes Girl in Red enough to recommend to her fans twice?
Sohyun? I'd say this is one of the biggest receipts of 4th gen but if it's not her then who?
Actually, no I wasn't talking about her. Momona, the girl I posted about the other day from the Japanese produce 101 group, ME:I, just posted on her private mail (smth like bubble) that she's listening to GIR's Girlfriend is Better; just two weeks ago she also posted that she's listening to GIR's new album, who she "likes a lot".
Ooh, sorry I scrolled past this. I might watch the show since all their songs are flawless and I was happy Cocoro got to redebut after what happened to Cherry Bullet and the other members who left with her. Girl in Red is like the thread tying sus idols together lately but this Momona saying she likes her a lot is even more obvious so you're probably right about her (and Cocoro?). Actually I always thought Ella got cut from Chebul for not "fitting in" if you get what I mean and it happened again in PIXY so maybe something similar with Coco? Why do you think they avoid anything physical on camera?
At this point its just speculation, because ME:I literally just debuted last week, but Momona's claimed numerous times about being bad with skinship (backed up by seeing her always avoiding hugs, or if she has to, doing them quickly and very perfunctory), and Cocoro very obviously having alot of respect for her even back during the show. It seems on Cocoro's part, although she's a notorious clinger and hugger, she respects Momona's personal space/bubble much more than anyone else. Add to that with Momona occasionally accepting hugs from the younger members, and even initiating back and shoulder pats, she seems especially wary of touching Cocoro. Like literally, the only times I've seen her touch her was during the show, first when Cocoro was assessed to be in A class with her, and second, during the finale after Cocoro was announced to debut. It's become a bit of an inside joke in the fandom by now, but I'm interested to see how it develops over the years, because we know they do have a close relationship from the way they speak about each other sometimes.

I get you. Some sus tripleS moments looked like basic fanservice so I'm glad I gave the group a chance because I was surprised for once. She writes songs she thinks suit the members' vibes. She's done it a few times with songs that aren't sapphic and this one does suit Naky. She didn't write it literally to her or about wanting to fuck her and wasn't saying it to tease fans or anything. She was just sharing her writing process as usual and it spread...

Baby you’re like chocolate
Sweet wrapped in foil
You’re the only one who doesn’t know
Lady, you’re that being
You color what’s around you
It’s fine, you’re perfect by yourself, yeah

Oh, I don’t know, push it on me
Just like that, towards you, push it on me
Attracting me like gravity, back
I’m heating up, to be honest my heart is young
I just dive in, no doubts

Je ne sais quoi
I wanna follow you
Your attraction
The flower of emotion called love
Je ne sais quoi
Allow my heart please
I wanna approach you
Precariously, one step

Slow down
The tempo changes, your rhythm
Tell me
This secret only we know, a nighttime dance

What is that supposed to mean? Are you saying that man doesn't hate women? He's friends with right-wing people, he's a very typical misogynistic man, ugly as fuck, fat and only dates beautiful women younger than him. I think it's safe to say he doesn't give a fuck about women. How does this fatty have defenders on a lesbian board??
She's probably an 4rmy, they suck up to that man like crazy.
I've noticed this on twitter. It's insane how hybe has brainwashed them to defend that company no matter what. I understand defending idols but the company?? It's beyond crazy. They've created a literal army to fight for them till the end.
HYBE: Min consulted shaman for business decision including new employee selection. Min also told the shaman BTS enlisting would be better for her.

Min: It was not weird to have shaman friend.

Min: Bang chatted with her to make a group that would trample aespa together.

HYBE: HYBE did not find this worth any comment.
DA This is not how that went and it's all transcribed to read for yourself OP so no need to rely on biased secondhand sources like Twitter stans...
The first part is wrong too. She went to a shaman and therapy because HYBE kept her in the dark about important schedules and ignored her. She may have meant her shaman friend was like a therapist, someone to listen. Supposedly it's common in SK for executives to seek advice from shamans and the superstitious side isn't taken that seriously. She claimed they probably do the same and are projecting how serious it is to them onto her.

4:01 p.m “When did I ever 'ask' BTS to go to the military?” 4:03 p.m. Min turns to recent allegations that she was coached by a shaman. “I asked [the shaman] because I was just so curious. How were we to plan our steps if the company's ace team was going to the military or not? Min continues discussing her shaman friend. “I had to get therapy because of HYBE,” she said. “But if someone there listened to me — that was why I went to her. Don't you sometimes go? Don't you see the things that you've been doing? I'm sure they're making these attacks because they're worse in that way.” 4:05 p.m. Min, brandishing the remote control, addresses HYBE's leadership directly. “I asked Park Ji-won, were they not ashamed of all this? Park Ji-won answered, 'Revenge comes after success.' This means that he agreed that what they were doing was wrong. Bang Si-hyuk, aren't you ashamed of yourself?”

The only reason she got a separate label that he wouldn't let happen without a 100% stake in, and he still undermined NewJeans from the first day. She called it a slave contract and hasn't earned much. He lied to them they'd be the first HYBE girl group and sisters of BTS by debuting LSF in a rush with that casting couch teaser and photography by a predator, after she wouldn't drop her trainees and control to base the group around LSF members. It isn't just an age thing but a concept thing, like how it's awkward for children to debut with Fearless even if humping the floor suits the adults in the company stans' opinion. He suddenly told her not to promote NJ for years, so the parents thought they wouldn't make it. He hates women to his bones.

da Hybe stans move like a cult and that fat man is their cult leader, they'd die for him. Can any newjeans fan here tell how is the fandom reacting to all this? They aren't siding with hybe, right?
From what I'm seeing on my twitter most aren't picking sides and are just supporting NewJeans. A lot of them don't think HYBE will look after the girls but they also don't want them to get into any legal trouble... BSH has never interacted with NewJeans publicly so I guess bunnies don't care about him as much as stans of other HYBE groups.

So how long does nj contract still have left?
Because they got a rough couple of years up ahead.
I don't think much will change for nj the first 6 months to a year but eventually as illit start to establish themselves more it's over.
BH ego seems pretty big and nj is a group that wasn't his own creation.
I fear nj awaits the same faith as k3pler and gfriend.
Nj has already served their purpose when Behind the scenes enlisted they needed a group to mediaplay to keep investors confidence high and nj success was perfect for that.
It make sense total sense to shift all resource to illit and just let nj&mhj slowly fade into obscurity.
This is kind of what I think as well except newjeans is much bigger and influential than gfriend and kepler ever were. Not only with the GP but actual critics and artsy hipster creatives in the industry love them and respect MHJs work. Ditto was a cultural reset, I don’t think they can “fade into obscurity” the easily. Only if they actually disband them.
Da bigger groups got shelved. Nj is still a rookie group and they don’t have a strong fanbase yet. The gp will move on to the next big thing as soon as they disband or get shelved

I don't think it comes off as pedophilic, simply because pedophilia means attraction to children under 12. MHJ (allegedly) must be an ephebophile, aka attraction to adolescents between 12 and 19. To be honest, I wouldn't say she is. We have never heard of her assaulting a teenager... she just artistically exploits them. She must have an aesthetic preference for youthfulness and likes to glorify it her art. Perhaps she misses her own youth, or perhaps she is cynical enough to know the GP loves the young. She used to be a very powerful producer in the Kpop industry, this alone proves that she is no saint. I agree on what she said about Minji is deranged, though. It makes me want to believe she is a dangerous maniac and she's only moderately good at hiding it.
However, let's not act as though Kpop as an industry is not obsessed with youth and that some girls discussed here aren't barely legal.
... MHJ's case conflicts me. The only reason I wouldn't call her a predator is because one should never confuse the art someone creates/consumes with one's own real life actions. Stephen King writes about gore and murder all the time, yet he has never murdered anyone. Roman Polansky made unambiguous, very artsy films yet assaulted a 13 yo... However, it wouldn't surprise me if MHJ turned out to be a predator.
If you want to play psychologist, better know basic that libido can be vented out in less aggressive ways. For example, a painter relieve his gerontophilia through painting of half naked senile women.

I'm sure after working with her they couldn't bear to fire her even with her damned mouth and blunt personality because she does have creative talent. Once they were done using her to make a name, I'm certain they went on to find people who could replace her in terms of her artistic foresight and duties. Then, they decided to dump her away and planned a series of actions to ruin her so that they can take over and gain full control of ador again. In a way she's not someone easy or pleasant to work with. You can tell from the way she talks and speaks without tact. I wonder if those girls genuinely liked her or were desperate for the job and pretended to like her. Or maybe they were prepared for this situation too because they secretly wanted to get rid of her asap since we don't know how much of a creep to them she possibly has been since their trainee days.

It's awful, both bsh and her aren't innocent in this. The reason why I say bsh isn't innocent is because they stated that they disagreed on nj's direction. I mean, as the founder, if you disagreed with her so much and more why would you even allow her to create her own subsidiary in the first place? It's definitely for your own gains that you wanted to use her for the hype for a new gg. He could've fired her back then and got rid of her. But he didn't, and right now he made sure she has become replaceable he's dumping her. Letting this woman who goes on and on about young girls yapping about older girls not fitting her principles stay in a company for years... It's sick in the head. If I were those parents I'll be checking with my girls if she ever said something worse to them in private when she could yap like that happily in public.
Ador without Min Heejin nor Newjeans is simply an empty shell of no value
We don't know how much of creep they are but, we have seen how much of creep she is.
She has been planting crooked mindset onto them, making them believe she is the essence of their lives, as idol at very least, and swaying them that her creepy behaviors are appropriate.
Bang having no problem with her making minors singing Cookie and only caring when there was acquisition attempt, nor minding Braun's Zionism promotion, shows his level of morality.

X2 People believe what hybe said is so funny.
Anyone questioning whatever HYBE accused her of after she herself had confirmed it is mentally challenged.

Can anyone summarize the MHJ - H*be drama please? Or link me to a post that explains everything going on.
My memory may trick me thus, some inaccuracy. I'll switch between HYBE and Min Heejin's sides. Info from Min's side is inconsistent and can be contradictory.

HYBE: CEO of Ador, Min Heejin and Mr. A, vice CEO of Ador of attempt to take away Ador and Newjeans. Min spread insider info of HYBE, HYBE's idols and trainees to damage HYBE. Mr. A, who was a senior financier of HYBE, leaked HYBE's finance info to attract foreign investors, namely national funds of Saudi Aradia and Singapore, to fulfill the take over plan. Also, HYBE found "Taking the company away from HYBE" document file on Mr. A office laptop and the foreign investment idea chat log between Mr. A and Min.

Min: Mr. A's document was his personal opinion and had nothing to do with Ador nor Min. Min did not conspire with Mr. A. Also, opinion is not illegal. No word about spreading info on HYBE + its idols and trainees.

Note: There is a speculation that Youngseo had to leave illit because Min Heejin found dirt on her.

HYBE: Ador took all better trainees and almost all staffers from Source, leaving Source dry. This was why Gfriend did not renew contract with Source.

Min: Min did not want to take Ador out of HYBE for greed but because HYBE mistreated Newjeans. HYBE promised Min that she would be in charge of HYBE's first girl group but, they pushed Le debut up and delayed Newjeans one that Le taking away the "First HYBE's girl group" title. Min had promised Newjeans' parents that it would be HYBE's first girl group. The parents were anxious when they saw Le debuted as HYBE's first one and wanted to talk to HYBE but HYBE did not respond. Recently, HYBE debuted illit with the same concept to show that HYBE could do well without Min and to share Newjeans' market. Illit was Min's last straw and triggered her try the break Ador away from HYBE.
At first, Min was assigned to be in charge of Source's new girl group. Later, Bang recruited Sakura and wanted the new group to revolve around her. Min did not like Sakura because she was too old so, she divorced from Source and set up her own label.

HYBE revealed it planned to fire her and report her to the police.

That fatty clearly hates women. He's obsessed with aespa and blackpink and even treats newjeans like shit
This is who they want NewJeans to stay with and they can't understand why she tried to leave the way she did? She implied the only reason she joined is because women can't get investment for themselves or their groups without dirty men exploiting.

The best case scenario is disbandment.
Others: Sihyuk was so salty that Newjeans got more popular than Sserafim.
Lchatters: BSH hates women.

Koreans are definitely on her side, it's only hybe stans who are still defending that company and those men
[+566] You can totally tell that Bang Shi Hyuk is not happy that Min Hee Jin is doing better than him ㅠㅠ He hates her, just like how Charles hated Diana

Does Yujin know she's a masc? Lchat how do we get her to embrace herself by stopping her from forcing herself to be femme and repressing her inner masc?

And now I've seen it, and I'm sorry to say that among the female trainees who were on Source, the only one I could choose was Minji. Now, the rest of my friends need more practice, are too old, or just don't get along with me, so I couldn't be selected because of these friends. So now Minji, when we do a joint project, it's really difficult for this guy and he can get much better if he practices more. And Minji was very pretty when she was young. This was much prettier than now. Because of that, I just had the thought that I could now try something with this friend.
How do you say this on a press conference… Not only does this come off ped0philic (cause that’s not your kid for you to be saying “she was even prettier as a child”), but it’s also so rude to Minji herself? Imagine hearing someone saying that about you publicly <_< Nkt to mention the girl is only 19 and getting prettier everyday

I assure you the anon above isn't really a byul fan, they want to troll and start fanwars as usual. Please ignore (and just enjoy the clip).
Waiting to see them pretending to be different anons and quoting themselves nonstop. Attention seeking is a disease.
You replying to a troll is seeking engagement from a troll :mask: Please touch some grass if you find it mandatory to engage with trolls
