Sullyoon got gaybaited hard by sana...
That's pretty bold and hot the way she wants to make it clear she's into her. And for her I don't feel it's actual gaybait but I could be wrong
Da girl how did she get gaybaited? She's doing the exact same fake straight girl flirting Sana does. If you think this is genuine then I have a bridge to sell you
Girl avoid replying to me with your het trolling containing 0 argument, just stfu girl.

She better be lol it's her prime, she strikes me as someone who's talented on everything they set their mind to do. I think she'll be a passable actress too

People often post about idols being in supposed friend groups with queers and sus women. But when asked who these sus people are they always list women with no receipts besides wishful thinking
Actually the only idol I can think of who was close friends with a lesbian(pride flags, pics of several gfs, now has a wife) is Seohyun from SNSD. It was her American friend who had some kpop related job in Korea for some years.
I can think of a bunch:

Jeongyeon and her bff whose account is proudly gay.
Yena and Jaejae, you can argue they're just colleagues though.
Yuqi and her stylist butch "friend", no idea if that woman is "out", like posting gaypride stuff etc.
Anyone close friend with Moonbyul.

Yuqi is being cancel in twt for using aave in a wrong way on her new song, all that because cube posted on twitter the tiktok video of her dancing to it and now alot of non kpop fans black/white are talking about it, and let's be real the fans/kpop fans would not do anything since it's being like 2 weeks since the album is out and only now peole are talking, most of it is black people.
The poor girl are being dragged all because of her white song writers who don't know how to do it properly at least and she not being educated enough given that it's not her first language and she seems not totally good in english.
Da why bring this here??
Da
Why not? We got days of Hybe/nj convos even though many begged for it to stop, that topic is famous/general now and can have its place here.

Like usual only black Americans are triggered and want to absolutely cancel an asian for literal words, nothing insulting or racist. It'll be forgotten in two weeks, praying she doesn't apologize. Next time instead of trying so hard to appeal to that one obnoxious market she should sing in Chinese. I was really expecting Chinese with Lexie Liu.... They're boring and cringe with their English everytime.

SNH48's Shen Xiaoai in her recent statement:

“Over the past month, you've been privately chatting more with your partner [Wang Yuchen], using work as an excuse, chatting with her from morning till bedtime, even playing games together after I've gone to sleep and not telling me about wearing couple bracelets. This has led to daily arguments that never seem to end. (...) Despite my attempts to tolerate the situation, it only worsened, leading to frequent arguments between us.
We broke up, and the reason you gave me was that you felt I didn't comfort you properly nor supported you when you were were mocked or felt down, but instead engaged you in endless arguments. You couldn't bear these dark days without light, so you decided to leave. I started reflecting on myself, wondering if I shouldn't have caused such a scene, if I should have just comforted you instead. Did I really put too much pressure on you? After the breakup I kept comforting you and even slept with you in the same bed but you were chatting with her. (...) It wasn't until that day, when you went to the airport to pick up Wang Yuchen, that I looked at all the chat records on the iPad and realized that you had cheated long before. You even asked her if she wanted to accompany you to Beijing during the Beijing tour when we hadn't even argued yet. Did you ever think about me? If I hadn't looked at the chat records, I would never have known.”

From what I've seen moonbyul and wheein had crushes on each other. They used to be roommates and moonbyul used to say she would date her and wheein used to say she biases her. Hwasa once said that when wheein and moonbyul get drunk they date each other. And after moving out of their shared dorm they used to go to each others houses to drink. Wheein once revealed that moonbyuls type is someone that is submissive during the day but dominant at night. There was also that questionable moment in that of course game where it seems the members joked about the fact that wheein and moonbyul can't date. Not to mention they're each others ideal type and they still jokingly flirt but now it seems friendly than before where it seemed genuine.
Moonbyul and solar confuse me tbh. I think they really enjoy each other's company but at some point I thought moonbyul had an unrequited crush on solar.

Irene and yeri would be weird imo. I would've thought seulrene if anyone in the group but I don't rlly see it.

I actually think if anyone is gay or bi in twice it would be jeongyeon.

Soyeon and yuqi!!
There's some truths to the snsd mess :spy:
Moonbyul and wheein weren't roommates. Moonbyul, Hwasa and Solar lived together for years in a small rooftop apartment. Wheein did not live with them, just visited them often of course. They were drinking buddies though until Byul stopped drinking that much, but they never said they were each others ideal type. Wheein did use to joke a lot about Byul taste.
Loud and wrong. That was when they were trainees. The company got them a dorm wheein and moonbyul in a room. Hwasa and solar in a room. They talked about it sooooo many times.
Anyways there's just so much to get through so enjoy the wheein x moonbyul ex crushes turned gay buddies twitter links compilation in the spoilers

Agreed. I always roll my eyes when people use an idol having lots of "queer" friends as a receipt when those friends are idols they have no idea what their sexuality really is and might actually be straight. Then the "receipts" for the referenced "queer" friends is also having those "queer" friends so it's an interconnected reciprocal mess of idols and "receipts" based on their wishful thinking.

The only other legit one I can think of is Dreamcatcher being friends with that ex-idol that was on mixnine with them that later came out as a lesbian and has a youtube with her girlfriend.

This might be Minji’s first real receipt :spy: she watched the movie Monster with her brother a few months ago, today she she played the OST of the movie in her live and said she liked it a lot. What’s interesting is at the time she said she was reading a book that interestingly overlapped with the theme of the movie.

Monster’s a coming of age japanese LGBT movie about a young boy coming to terms with his feelings for his friend and realizing he’s gay. Interesting that she not only saved the OST but also read a book about “the same theme”
Sounds more like Minji's brother is gay and she's probably being happy for him idk.

I would understand if it was a lesbian movie but it's a gay movie? Straight girls are obsessed with gay men so it doesn't prove anything. It only means she isn't homophobic.
Oh no It’s not the kind of gay movie you can fetishized as a straight girl, it’s about two 10-11 yo boys. The movie is about coming to terms with unexpected same gender attraction and grieving you’ll “never be normal like other people”.

I’m a lesbian and I cried when I watched it. Ofc it doesn’t prove she’s gay but it’s interesting she liked it a lot and was reading a book about the same theme
Da did she say what the book was?

Isn't Soyeon and Gidle notorious for using ~questionable~ English and -isms anyway? You're talking like this is a first. I can't feel bad when that group has been pissing all over black culture and butchering English since debut.
Nah, this is the first time there’s been some bad AAVE usage from the group. Soyeon doesn’t use AAVE, her English is mostly awkward and cringe.

This is just coming from Yuqi. On clap is her solo song. Her song Rollie on their recent album was honestly worse with AAVE, but criticisms about it never blew up like this.

She’s credited last on lyrics for On Clap, so you could place more blame on the western writers. But Rollie she has first lyrics credit and that song is arguably worse with the AAVE butchering.

Both of those songs are her first attempt at writing hiphop music, and she’s not fluent enough in English to write those sorts of lyrics without mimicking what she probably hears in mainstream rap and hiphop from black artists. It’s unfortunate ignorance but 90% of her fans won’t care. Maybe she’ll see the backlash and think twice about how she writes, but I don’t have much faith in k-pop idols with that kind of stuff.

Cpop and kpop are very different culture. China in general is less conservative than korea. There are so many openly lesbian cpop idols from fem to butch aswell as very popular lesbian Chinese influencers.
Idols in cpop are more replaceable in the groups. So things like the gay dating scandals in the groups that cause so much mess like we see, the members get kicked out but the group continues and members are replaced. I'd compare it to more like a workplace than kpop groups.
I mean there was a kpop group that dated each other and it was a huge mess and the group disband. So I really think there has been crushes, sleeping with one another, confessions, dates etc but they're often discouraged to not pursue something deeply.

Monster is like the most popular film among cinephiles in Korea this year. It's not a receipt of anything lol. I have seen like 30 Korean actresses and like 20 Korean actors post about it on Instagram. The director made a Korean film 2 years and is very famous.
Listen I’m not claiming she’s a gay icon. But for someone who people think pings a lot and keeps being mentioned here but doesn’t have any tangible receipt other than giving off gay vibes and blushing around women this is something.
Also worth pointing out she never watches movies and isn’t a cinephile whatsoever.
da Only her fans think she's gay because that's wishful thinking. Absolutely no one else here thinks she's gay. I think Jisoo is straight but she hasn't only watched a lesbian movie but also has read a lesbian book. If it was Minji doing that I'm sure you all would be convinced she's gay if you think watching a popular movie about gay boys counts as a receipt.
DA. You can say that about every single person discussed here apart from moonbyul lol.
Minji’s def in that group of female idols that act/look more tomboyish so they get noticed by the general gay kpop fandom. I also often see korean gays on twitter (that are not nj fans) commenting about her

Tbh it's just unrealistic for Kpop. It's just so straight unlike Cpop and Western pop.
Girl, It literally already happened before lol Two members from a group called d.i.p came out as a couple, and also there was a whole drama in a group from the fisrt generation of kpop ( i Think ??? ) where Two members were dating and one of them cheated the other one with another idol from a different group
Absolute nugu bgs. I'm talking about ggs - a concept foreign to you bg stans who always need to bring up men. Sure it might rarely happen within nugus but not within the popular groups every shipper wants. It's just not the same.
da It happened in a popular gg in the West but you'd bet it back then that it wouldn't happen.
DA Are you talking about Spice Girls? That happened back in the 90s too lol. In Kpop I don't think it's common or anything but I wouldn't say the chances of it happening are nil.
DA. Yeah, I was thinking op must be referring to the Spice Girls but 1.) that info wasn't revealed until those ladies were in their late 40s and 2.) they were just hooking up. They each had serious relationships with men during that time so it's not so like the cpop group at all. But the Spice Girls had a concept that was anti patriarchy and far from heteronormative whereas kpop loves misogyny and ggs are comprised with that in mind so I agree that I can't see anything more than random unserious experimentation happening in kpop. Also, with how invasive the media is now idols understand that it's just easier to date a normie

Only the dumbasses on here would argue that a woman who has dated two men is “dykey”. For fuck’s sake 🤦🏻‍♀️

And yes, baggy clothes are the trendy style amongst young people now. Even girly girls are wearing it in their downtime
God forbid people say DYKE to describe aiki, jeongyeon, ryujin, jihyo who are all most likely straight.
Baggy clothes isn't enough to describe whatever the fuck jihyo wears and behaves like. Jihyo isn't girly. Goddamn can't believe we're arguing on something that irrelevant yet evident. Who doesn't agree that this woman behaves/dresses like a DYKE unless you're triggered at the word and is an annoying stuck up unfunny mf who fights against the evil stereotypes.... Jihyo gives DYKE vibes and everyone and their mother except you boring mfs agree, cope.
By everyone and their mother, you mean your echo chamber of annoying onces?

I know. That's why I said Western pop. Even if it was back in the 90s the climate of 90s UK and present day Korea aren't remotely the same.

Honestly doubt same group relationships happen. Drunk making out? Yes. Sex? Maybe. But sustaining relationships? Pls

DA Are you talking about Spice Girls? That happened back in the 90s too lol. In Kpop I don't think it's common or anything but I wouldn't say the chances of it happening are nil.

Women like this used to fuck me up so bad my first couple years of college because like you said, it's not just a superficial style or veneer Jihyo has. Nah. She walks like a dyke. Talks like a dyke. Gestures like a dyke. Even the way she falls into gentlewomanly chivalrous and protective mode over the super fem girls in her group (and only them, it's not being a mom or a nurturer) is like a dyke. And unlike Jeongyeon it's not like Jihyo doesn't make a beautiful fem girl. She actually gets most attention from male Onces when she is dressed more girly and has her boobs out but Jihyo chooses to be more glg coded. It's a mind fuck.

But I don't know why anons get so mad when she's mentioned. Like yeah, she's really straight. But if you're PERCEIVING HER you know exactly why her name and pics/video get posted. Hello!? Feral.
