Something I've always admired about her is her resilience and her willpower to overcome her fears and better herself.
After 1022 she could've easily give up on her idol career, let herself be defeated by her scandal and retire from the public eye like many idols have done before and after her. Hell, she could have decided to stay in her comfort zone as a RV member and give up on any chance of a solo career because it was the easier, comfy thing to do. But she didn't, on the contrary, she used that time to to hone her craft through vocal and dance classes, she never let herself be defeated.
Remember how nervous she was when she covered for W on youngstreet? I remember some anons said they would've preferred if she didn't go ahead with it because it was painful to watch her almost in the middle of a nervous breakdown, but personally I always found the fact that she pushed herself to overcome her fear and anxiety pretty admirable. And it paid off, because while she still struggles a little bit in certain public events (e.g. she was pretty nervous on Immortal songs), her current self is a far cry from the Irene from 2021-2022. I have mad respect for her, as a person and as an idol and I'm proud to be her fan

Exactly. Everytime I feel tired and disappointed (not in her, but by everything else e.g. the company and the situation), she would come out and do something that surprise me and make the "suffering" worth it. 2024 has been quite great so far with Waves magazine, Immortal Songs and of course this photo exhibition. Certainly not enough, but we'll definitely see more later this year.

Saw this on twt and can't help but loved Irene for treasuring all the details about her journey w/ fans.
Whoever the lucky person to be w/ her in the future will be treated w/ sentimental memories & so much more, her attention to details was admirable.

No. I expect her to have decent album sales and MV views (waaay better than W and about the same as S). She'd probably do even better if bjh1 was released last year, because now the kpop bubble has bursted and eveyone's been affected by this, and to make matters worse, RV has lost relevancy with the GP and is bleeding fans like crazy. Irene's individual fandom is still strong, but like it or not, those two factors will have an impact on bjh1.
Basically, charting is out of the RV members' reach atp, specially for someone who is not a main or lead vocalist. The only way I can see bjh1 charting is if she gets given a really good and catchy TT that goes viral, and judging by SM's track record that's not gonna happen. That ship is sinking fast and the company has lost their midas touch, everything they've release over the last couple years is from mid, to downright horrible, and unfortunately, I don't expect bjh1 to be any different.
