Does anyone here get vibes from Vivi?
unpopular opinion but i always thought kim lip was a lesbian, bi at least, and vivi was bi and i didn't take anyone else seriously until recently. someone on orbit twitter got hate for showing off her private facebook which said she's open to men and women and i suspected her even before. if i'm remembering correctly, she has a predebut interview on some hong kong talk show making fun of rejecting a man. after getting over how unusually meek and naive she seemed, i felt she's a fun girl who wasn't shy and had more life experience than the other girls before debuting, so maybe she was tamed by idol life and became reserved in a foreign country whose language she couldn't speak confidently. she's dismissed in the same ways as tzuyu. quiet, uninteresting, not someone gays care about, but there are funny pictures of tzuyu posing with drag queens predebut and her close dance teacher is openly gay, and there are pictures of vivi in a lesbian wedding photoshoot
she also has harajuku it girl photoshoots which she was kind of styled like a cunty kara member for. i unironically think she should've replaced choery in odd eye circle because her age and predebut aura were more suitable (and she would've been the gays' bias and the world would recognise her as the lovechild of goo hara and sassy gay icon park gyuri). i've noticed there are conservative asian countries with much more active gay subcultures than south korea, surprisingly including china and related areas. to me it mostly explains tzuyu and vivi having that exposure and, since they keep being brought up here for having a gay off with tripleS, it explains snh48 being the gayest 48 group i guess. i know it's a meme but i wouldn't be surprised if she really has lived two lives and she sees her past as too personal, not knowing korean very well hid most of her personality which lost her popularity, and being the oldest put her in a motherly role so she's overlooked as the boring unnie. having niche music taste that's trendy with gays in the scene fits my feeling that she's more familiar with the community than most members, even if she just used to go clubbing with the gays or whatever
Does anyone have a screenshot of her Facebook? I heard about it but I never saw any proof.
Anyways, I agree with most of your points except for her being meek because of the language barrier. She's been in Korea for 6 years and is def fluent by now, she just chooses to stay quiet. You can see hunts of her more chaotic/trolly personality sometimes (her closing the door when she opened that room in loonathetam2, teasing hyeju about her mouth being open, her look at the camera when someone was talking to haseul at the airport)
The song I mentioned in the post wasn't even from a big gay artist or something that blew up on tiktok. It's from an American idol contestant, and I genuinely have no idea how vivi even found it
