i feel like with her it was always based on vibes and not on receipts. she's been posted a couple of times here because of her looks (there was this one photo of her lap where she's sitting down, manspreading, with the gayest outfit possible, showing her veiny hand, which is always on my mind) and people often say she's got a gay face (maybe a face that gay people love?)
even the members have acknowledged that she's biased by a lot of women

and i personally don't think it means anything because she gets red very easily, even just by laughing, but there are definitely instances of her looking flustered participating in staring contests with other members, or while doing skinship.
and of course, her friendship with jane - them gifting flowers and teddy bears to each other, lip hanging out with her first things first after coming back to korea from tour, and lip also being really affectionate towards her, when she's not as lovey-dovey towards loona members...

tbh, despite those things i don't really see her being queer. i can't recall a time where she's voiced out lot something that has made me suspicious, and i'm not talking the yves levels of "she was a girl, she was a girl"; just anything at all. i'm not lip biased though, so i'd love to hear the thoughts of someone who knows her well!

i won't mention the context since it involves the same underage member yooyeon originally said it about, but that line appeared in the official subs of a recent signal LMAO. the girls themselves joking about it is one thing, but i was pretty surprised to see that even the staff is apparently in on it and comfortable bringing it up in a manner that's pretty blatantly calling one of the members gay

i don't follow them closely these days but i remember back in the beginning she was always trying to get chaeyeon's attention and seemed extremely sad, in an inward way, when they swapped hauses/roommates for the first time. she was trying to be all "i'm fine with whoever i'm in one room with" but you could definitely see her mood dropping when chaeyeon wanted to be with someone else. yk i don't ship them but that was the first time she pinged to me for whatever reason

Jiwoo is the spitting image of Oh My Girl Jiho who I knew was les from the start and I've never felt sure about another les idol. Not even the way more masc Kim Lip but I think she's dating Jane which I only mention to say I understand what you mean about hockey and acting awkward around the girls (it's really not silly TikTok stereotypes of lesbians being masc). I didn't notice her or Nien susness until the posts here though and Jiwoo is younger so I think some of us just look at her as like a dorky teen version of ourselves. Not that all les were tomboys growing up or all tomboys are les. It's something else and if you've been there then you get her. Still I played sport and sensed an unspoken distance with girls who sport wasn't as significant to even if they played it. My girlier best friend was like my rock and gave me a place in groups I was pretty much exposed in when she moved, so Jiwoo kinda sorta going through a similar situation, clinging to one girl and internally imploding at her leaving her side is just funny. Anyways, I agree with most of your points except for her being meek because of the language barrier. She's been in Korea for 6 years and is def fluent by now, she just chooses to stay quiet. You can see hunts of her more chaotic/trolly personality sometimes (her closing the door when she opened that room in loonathetam2, teasing hyeju about her mouth being open, her look at the camera when someone was talking to haseul at the airport)

The song I mentioned in the post wasn't even from a big gay artist or something that blew up on tiktok. It's from an American idol contestant, and I genuinely have no idea how vivi even found it

I mean if you look at many of the gay ex idols or ex trainees, literally non of them have obvious stereotype gay vibes, even less if you look at the high femme bnk48/snh48 etc lesbian idols. In other words although there are gay idols that are like the textbook stereotype dyke such as Moonbyul, the majority of gay idols are probably people we would never suspect.

people have been recently talking about queer baiting in the big thread and they always brush off yves there, so i decided to come here with my thoughts. i know yves is pretty much canonically queer in some way for mostly everyone here, but one more reason i've always thought she was fam is because she's never actually been fanservicey with the members. she was part of the most popular ship in loona ever since "heart attack" came out, but her and chuu didn't excessively push their ship and you could tell that other than hand holding, yves was never into kissing cheeks / snuggling and all that. she's not that outgoing and it probably stems a bit from her personality too, but it definitely took her quite a lot of time to get close to a lot of the members, specifically physically. maybe i'm just projecting but i also behaved that way in situations with a lot of new girls /dance and sports teams/ some years ago and i see that as a receipt.. (also reminds me a lot of seola)

That's why the Orbits here keep telling you tripleS is fun to gossip about with each other to fill in the gaps. General thread drowns out tripleS posts which makes them boring to post and hard to find. The posters there bash Yves, decided Kim Lip is a homophobe and mock Loossemble. They're not the audience for 24 nugus with a 95% Orbit fanbase.

I view this as a place to discuss all the members that used to be under the name LOONA and all the adult gg members under MODHAUS. I don't see the problem. They are all connected by being produced by JJ.
It keeps this thread more active by including the whole package and there is a lot of overlap, for example how Sohyun wrote the lesbian lyrics to an Odd eye circle song. So I think they all fit together nicely here.

Yooyeon was sick, so she just wanted soomin to calm down and not talk too much. I don't think this will make her change her behavior. I haven't heard anything about media training and them being told to stop fanservice in lives, I find it hard to believe that a company under jj would ever say that. But maybe outside investeres or products they promote can make them have to censor themselves more, but i doubt it will happen.
